KB's food has gone downhill over the past few years. I used to love the shrimp burrito but the last two time I ordered it I was disappointed. There was maybe 3 pieces of shrimp, little to no cabo sauce, salsa or cabbage. The beans were undercooked and stale. So, basically I paid $14 for a rice and bean burrito. I'm not going back. Another solid find. Had the fish burrito, which was big and flavorful. They have a ton of salsas, pretty spicy. I think the owners are peruvian, but they only had one Peruvian style option - a kind of lomo burrito. I also mention that, cause the spiciest green salsa had a peruvian flair. Hit the spot! When the Peruvian restaurant down the street didn't serve vegetarian-friendly fare (except a salad), we had to grab a burrito before heading home. After my first snowshoe session, it was time for lunch! I was craving a burger...until we saw KB's. Sister said they are frequent patrons when they stay nearby. They're known for their burritos. A sign touted their corn chowder, so we ordered that with a Boise Burrito, which contains wild salmon. It was a unique and tasty treat, and made ups feel like we were being healthy. The corn chowder was served with chips and salsa. It was hearty and we even used the chips to scoop up the soup. SO good! If you're in the mood for some fresh, relatively fast burritos, tacos, etc., check out KB's. It looks like they have some other locations (Hailey, Twin Falls, McCall, Boise & Eagle), so you've got options! Street parking is free and pretty easy throughout Ketchum, but there are also free shuttles for the surrounding areas. read more

big fan of ketchum burrito!! unfortunately my wife and i came in for some lunch. we didn't wait long and my jordan burrito tasted very good as usual just poorly wrapped, ended up eating a burrito salad. my wife ordered a hailey's burrito and there was no chicken, had to get it remade which was fine. it tasted good as well!! just annoyed because of the name ketchum burrito has yet lack of consistency.. we weren't the only one with complications either as other people were missing chicken in their burrito and or had eat a burrito salad as well/: hopefully next time it's better just wish the consistency an awareness is a standard for such a big name in the burrito community. read more

Salmon burrito was mediocre. Nachos cost extra. Go to the Mexican restaurant next to city hall. It's FAR better. Putting a box of what look like mint in a salsa cup next to the mint candies as you exit is probably how they scored so low in the health inspection. BTW those are rocks. We had a relatively small group order (for 13 people), and they screwed it up in multiple ways: - 35 minutes late - $100 more than quoted over the phone (when we asked about the difference, we were told "Take it or leave it.") - No to-go packaging, they just gave us 10+ different containers There are too many other options to use this place again, no thanks. read more

Restaurant is clean, staff is nice, and prices are good. Not really a place for ambiance - it's just about the burritos and tacos, which are great!!! They also have a great beverage selection with beer, wine and more (like canned Palomas). I've been here once before with two other people and all were happy. Today I came with my husband. Came here on our last visit and they screwed up several parts of our order. Decided to come back again as they were open late on Saturday when we got in town. The food was better this time but they didn't put the chips and guacamole in the togo bag. I hate errors like that. 2 of us had the carne asada which was flavorful. Wife had a BR something salad w beans and rice and chicken in it. She loved the dressing. Food was creeping to 4 or more but the service and forgetting items hurt it. Stopped in for a quick dinner, located in the center of town KB's was a good option. Set up as quick casual, you order at the counter and pay then they bring the food out to you at your table when it is ready. The decor is interesting, it strikes me as more Tibetan then Mexican with prayer flags around the ceiling and a fabric covered ceiling, plus a bunch of colorful photos. I had the Boise Burrito, salmon, potatoes, green chiles and spinach. The nice sized burrito came out with a good portion of fish with the potatoes adding nice body. Filling and delicious. Sun Valley has an amazing dining scene, but due to the pandemic (and 3 unvaccinated kids) we've mostly done takeout during our past 2 trips there. The family enjoyed KB's takeout so much this past week that we ordered it twice. My daughter claims that they are the BEST chicken quesadillas she's ever had and my sons were pretty happy with their kids chicken burritos too. As for myself I ordered a taco salad (delicious and filling) and the second time around steak and shrimp tacos. Unfortunately, they messed up our order and we ended up with 2 less tacos that we ordered so I was still hungry, but the ones I did have were tasty. While I've never eaten here, I've picked up the food myself and it's a friendly casual atmosphere. Great family spot when we're ready to take the kids to eat out once again! read more

Good: salsa that comes with chips, the various hot sauces, especially the avocado based one, spicy and strong avocado flavor. Bad: Don't order the Ketchum steak burrito. It weighs a pound, but 80 percent is rice, 10 percent is beans, 7 percent is guac and sauce, and 3 percent is steak. A real rip-off. Chips that come with chips and salsa are pretty bland and taste cheap. I wouldn't go back. But then again, nothing I've had in Ketchum this week has been good. read more

I have been in town 3 times over the last 3 years and I also hit up KB's! I usually get the quesadilla but this time I got the taco salad. Wow! So, so good. It was plenty of food and full of flavor. Decent Mexican food. I tried their fish tacos, chicken Hailey burrito, and steak Ketchum burrito. Their fish tacos didn't disappoint, but their burritos were kind of disappointing because of the stingy portions - the Ketchum burrito comes with guacamole, but a spoonful of it was tucked at the end of the burrito. Both burritos had a sizable fold of flour wrap at one end meaning they didn't fill the burrito to capacity. Dont think Ive ever had a 3/4 burrito like that in Cali. I used to love to come here and loved their food. Tonight, a couple of problems: I ordered chips and quac, got to the car and headed home and found out they put too salsa and no quac in the bag, so I went back. I tell the woman they forgot my quac. With her mask UNDER her nose, she sticks her nose in the bag to check. The other woman, with an ungloved hand sticks her hand in the bag, pulls the salsa out and says she'll get me quac. I asked them for a new bag od chips too since they had their face and hand in my bag. The same woman puts her ungloved hand in another bag to open it and fills it with chips. We sat outside and enjoyed a couple salads (I got the quinoa with avo and chicken and husband got the chicken with black beans) and daughter got the yummiest chicken burrito ever (we would have been jealous had our salads not been so awesome). The bomb. I didn't want to eat at a breakfast place and get the basic eggs and bacon. I didn't want a Starbucks microwaved sandwich. I wanted something a little more untraditional and this hit the spot. I loved there steak burrito, there was so much flavor and you could tell the carne asada was marinated and cooked on a grill. It was so big I couldn't finish it but I opened it up and had to eat all the meat so yummy! My husband got the reuvos rancheros it was so delicious and had such a great flavors.
