The initial consultation via zoom was a great way to introduce myself to Minnie and get to chat about what I was looking for and the end goal. She even sent a recap of the call which was great! Got on the schedule asap and was the only client when I arrived. The conversation was easy and friendly the entire time. Upon sitting in the chair she reviewed again the goals and current hair styling process and products used. I was shocked she has this fancy magnification tool and we pulled up a fairy knot to see it. Talk about fun times, the knot sure enough was a full on knot and so interesting to see up close. Learned the salon has been around for three years and some history of her and living in Austin. The cut itself was for 2 hours and it took the entire time. The styling process was explained along with the products. And when I say the products are amazing, that's and understatement. I've not seen my hair so defined without a heavy styler. I'm excited to use the products at home and see if I can recreate the style. Minnie is amazing and she was such a great stylist and answered all of my questions.
