AND to learn by text as I eagerly awaited my color processing, my daughter had her BEAUTIFUL cut styled by him, too! Lo, the odds! Ashley was nice to fix some of the areas after my appointment and I was scheduled to come in for a 3rd time to tone and blend more but my appointment as canceled last minute and I was told I would have to see a different stylist and pay on top of the $400 I already spent to fix it. Now I'm left with hair that needs to be fixed by another salon right before the holidays. Please do yourself a favor and do not make the mistake I did; go to a different salon.

I entered in my card to hold my appointment, thus no cash had to be exchanged day of. The reminder text directed me to this bright cheery salon space on 38th, in that sometimes-confusing cluster of buildings. I always wander into the wrong space, but am always pleasantly surprised by a new find. The salon is following all safety precautions; you are directed to text your stylist upon arrival. Alas, it was a beautiful day and they had the door open, so when I approached to read that sign, a masked employee helped me out. I waited outside in teeny courtyard before my appointment. And now, on to the wonder that is Stevie. Best haircut I've ever had. He spent several minutes in silence just touching/looking at my hair.We then talked about what I wanted and what was most realistic (given my hair type, my desired routine, etc.). Then he got to work. He was very pleasant and funny, but we didn't blab the whole time; he was very focused, and I very relaxed to be surrounded by plants and feeling the outdoor air with some jams softly in the background.
