Hubby and I tried the new KB chicken today. The owner, Joanne was an absolute sweetheart, taking the time to explain every item on the menu in detail, giving us samples of the chicken before we even ordered, and overall just had a beautiful personality. The food was fantastic, husband got the sweet and spicy chicken and I got the number two chicken which was the spicy breading. The chicken was hot and fresh and had amazing flavor. The sauced ones weren't drowned in it, so you could still taste the chicken underneath. Highly reccomend checking this little place out, definitely something new and fun to our area. read more

Great food, reasonable prices, and top notch service. I've tried nearly every Korean restaurant in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties and this is by far the best! read more

Best Korean restaurant in the Salinas area! We love to get the Soy Garlic Chicken (mild), and there are so many more authentic Korean dishes to choose from. The chicken is crispy on the outside, while being flavorful and juicy on the inside. The owner is very friendly and accommodating as well. read more

Everything we ordered was so yummy. Fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. Korean barbque was delicious and the sides were so delish. I highly recommend this place. read more

Not just the best Korean food in the area, but the best food in the area, entirely. I've eaten a lot of Korean food, and this is as traditional and authentic as you can get. The entire menu is fire! Especially the Japchae. The restaurant itself is very clean, orderly, and inviting. Joanne is a delight in that she really cares if the diner has a great experience and clearly takes pride in her work. I couldn't have been more impressed and will continue to eat here all the time. read more

The food is tasty! Pleasantly surprised, we got the soy garlic wings, great flavor and crispy, highly recommend. My husband got the spicy bbq pork and I got the spicy chicken, both delicious but the pork flavor definitely won over the two. The sides delicious, the zucchini side was amazing! If you haven't tried it I definitely recommend, nice to see a different flavor profile in Prunedale! read more

I absolutely love this place. Best food in my area, and I've been waiting so long for Korean BBQ to make its way here. I usually order through DoorDash, which can be pricy, but I'm lazy and hate dealing with the roads around the time I start to get hungry. I always order the spicy pork bulgogi, but go with the delicious chicken every now and then. Either way, this review isn't about the food, which I always love. This review is about the wonderful customer service. There was a bit of a problem with the DoorDash order; and item was left behind. Anyway, the shop went out of their way to call me, and tell me that I'll get a discount on my next order, because they recognize that I always order from them. Clearly, customer satisfaction is a legit priority here, which is something we can't even get out of million dollar corporations. So, I'll have to say, thank you to the hard working individuals over at KB, and thank you for your love and care you put into my orders. The bulgogi is absolutely superb, and I look forward to my weekly order always. Thank you for bringing such deliciousness near my home. I think about it every time I order food here - truly grateful. If you're tired of the same old crap living in the SJB-Prunedale region, and want something fun to the taste buds - give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. Easily, an instant favorite. read more

Amazing to have delicious Korean Fried Chicken in our area! Once we found this place, we've ordered three times. The spicy #3 is our go-to. The regular crispy is also a good option, but the spicy saucy combo can't be beat. Will definitely continue to order for pickup. read more

If you'd like fried chicken, you will love this - place best fried chicken I've had since my grandmas southern fried chicken back in the day. The potstickers are really great as well. Next time we go back will try some other items like their short ribs but the first time out we wanted to go for that fried chicken. read more

The sweet and spicy wings might not be just the best Korean chicken wings I've ever had but the best wings, period. The sauce has a bit of a kick but not too hot and the wings are so tender. We also enjoyed the pickled daikon side dish. read more

Excellent chicken with crispy batter that stays crunchy for a long time. The soy glazed drumsticks are the best as they are meaty and moist. It is even good the next day either cold or warmed up in the air fryer. The owner is gracious and gives samples if you can't choose. Excellent service and will continue eat at this convenient spot. read more

The best chicken ever. Clean surroundings, great service! My new favorite restaurant.

I've lived in Prunedale for over 30 years and this was the best food I've had yet at a local restaurant.

Man, this food was good! We ordered a half order of the tenderloin chicken with fries, deop bop with pork, and a side of goon man du. It was all excellent! The pork deop bop was a little spicy for my six year old and two year old, but my eight year old loved it. He also couldn't get enough of the goon man du! Every plate was empty when the waiter came to check in with us; it was the perfect amount of food for the five of us. In addition, the waitstaff were super kind and attentive... it's been a long time since I've been to a restaurant where the employees seemed to care about the guests. Very refreshing! The whole family loved this place, and we'll be back again. read more

ONE OF THE BEST KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN PLACES IVE BEEN TO IN THE STATE. If you are searching for some juicy, crunchy, flavorful wings then look no further than this hidden gem. The soy garlic chicken wings were perfect in every way and the gochujang chicken wings were spicy and sweet. The galbi was so juicy and tender. When my wife sent me to this place. And I pulled up. I thought tiny. When I entered the smell was overwhelming. Yum Yum Yum Chicken being fried. I picked up our order and proceeded to go home. It was the longest, hardest Drive I've ever had to take with food in my car. A couple of times I almost pulled over just to eat a piece. But, I made it home. This chicken is out of this world. If you love chicken. And you haven't had Korean barbecue chicken. You haven't had chicken yet. When I went back a few days later yes a few days to get another order of the yummy stuff. I asked him how it was made. I was greeted with a smile and a family recipe. You got to try this place. Tell him JT sent you. Peace read more
