So many things to say about this company. Mostly awesome! Josh who came out to measure, show…read moresamples, and send us a quote... the bomb!! The lovely woman Jackie who would text regularly with updates and keep me posted on which flooring team was next, awesome! Both the carpet and the laminate flooring teams were always on time and worked overtime and did an absolutely beautiful job on the floors. The only bummer was that they knew our house had just been freshly painted and when the job was 100% complete there were blue splat marks on the walls (I'm assuming from a glue), some scratches I had to repaint and some of the baseboards were a different material due to curves which caused them to be tan not white like the rest. Other than that I really did love the company.

The sales rep who helped me was extremely nice, pleasant and patient. I had gone to a ton of flooring stores prior and he was by far the best sales associate I'd spoken to. However, I'm dropping 2 stars because their prices were higher than everyone else, the rep never reached back out to me with the 3rd quote, and their warranty wasn't as strong as other stores who had more competitive pricing. A word of advice: please do yourself a favor and get at least 3-5 quotes on a product you're interested in (make sure its the exact same product/manufacturer/color though). You'd be surprised how different the quotes can be. Also, be sure to ask about warranty as every store is different.

I returned the the tile within a 14 days of picking up my order, it was almost two boxes but since it wasn't sealed the owner said he would take the sealed box back at a 30% restocking fee. I told him Maurice has said we could return any tile not used. Switch and bait. Also the owner was up on a crane repairing the ceiling of the warehouse when I was trying to return the tile. At the end he told his worker he would have to speak with Maurice and let me know what they decided. I left my tile there as he requested and have not heard from them since. I've called and left two messages. Fun fact : Yes, you generally need both a federal or state certification to operate most cranes, and specifically a valid license/certification if you are operating from inside the cab

Granix showroom and slab yard has many choices for your projects. Pricing is similar to many…read morecompetitors. We purchased a pre fab granite island countertop for use on our outdoor bar top. The front bull nose edge fell completely off during install by a pro installer. He had to spend hours fixing the faulty glue joint from the overseas factory that churns these out. When we called Granix back to explain that they sold us a product that fell apart they basically said sorry and offered nothing as compensation. Admitted that yes these things happen as the slabs come from overseas and sometimes the glue the manufacturers use is not great. I would recommend shopping around before deciding on Granix. Customer service is poor and you really don't know what you are buying as they get these stock units from wholesale cheap vendors that use inferior materials to build the pre fabs. Not a fan.

After talking to several fabricators, we decided to work with San Marcos Marble & Tile because they were professional, communicative, and offered great value for their services. Starting from the first visit and throughout the entire process, Elisa was available each step of the way to answer questions and provide updates. She explained the various options we had in terms of material, layout, and process. Dasia then came out to measure the counter area and give some helpful suggestions on things we should consider when looking for countertop material. Once we had decided on a quartz material, Elisa coordinated the details for demo, templating, installation, and backsplash tiling. We had some leftover material from the quartz slab and decided to replace a bathroom vanity countertop as well, which they were able to accommodate no problem. Once everything was scheduled, their crews came out and took care of everything. Their guys for each stage of the project were great. Friendly, professional, and efficient. Once all was said and done, we were extremely happy with the results. I would not hesitate to work with San Marcos Marble & Tile again in the future.

You will have to hire your own contractor for installation so please keep that in mind, especially when comparing quotes with other flooring stores. When I arrived, Josh greeted me right away and helped me compare prices while explaining the different products they offered. I also emailed him later that same day, and he responded in less than 10 minutes. He even ordered samples for me right away, and they arrived at my house the very next day. I couldn't believe how fast they came! Overall they have excellent products and customer service. If you have a contractor you trust to install flooring, I would definitely look into the potential savings from buying your flooring at Rayo's. As always, make sure you get multiple quotes from different stores, because sometimes they can be cheaper than Rayo's if you're not planning on installing flooring yourself.
