We knew we wanted to use a local company for this project. Randy executed our vision perfectly. We have had a couple of months to enjoy this part of the project and there isn't a single part we have questioned or any detail that we would change. It is truly exactly what we dreamed of. A remodel is a stressful time for many reasons. If you are looking for custom cabinetry, I can't stress enough how amazing ours turned out and how happy we were working with someone that could see our vision. Randy gave us advice and ideas, but listened to what we wanted and he was never pushy. Randy has a very calm demeanor and is extremely patient. I hope this review is helpful when deciding cabinetry for your project!

I come from a family of contractors (but they are all in CT) so I never learned to do construction/handy stuff on my own b/c I always had my brothers, grandfather and my oh-so talented and creative mother to do those things. And since they were all perfectionists I also have high expectations. Therefore I am so glad that Milen was the person to remodel my kitchen b/c the quality of work is impressive. He takes great pride in what he does and is extremely thorough. He's friendly, very easy to talk to, and has a good sense of humor too! I appreciate how organized and respectful he is, as well. He cleans up throughout the day, organizes his tools every night before he goes home, and he communicates with you throughout the job so you are fully aware of the daily plan. Another thing I would like to point out is his work ethic. He's a hard worker, trustworthy, shows up at 8:00am everyday, and only focuses on one job at a time which is awesome b/c you can be sure he will complete your home in a timely manner. Plus he is the person that is doing everything - framing, electrical, plumbing, tile, floors - whatever you need - he is truly a jack of all trades! I have a lot of respect for Milen and am very grateful to have found him. I will be recommending him to my co-workers who are planning to remodel their kitchens/bathrooms too. Thank you Milen for being so amazing at what you do! I am very pleased with your work.

I also informed the website that we had the materials. Literally within 5 minutes I received a call from John. I was shocked and let John know just how surprised I was .I explained to John normally that I'm lucky to get a call and when I do there's always a story. I explained to John that my husband was recovering from surgery and didn't know that I was inquiring about getting the crown molding installed. Well I told my husband about what I'd done and he gave John a call. It was the best thing I have ever done. No really. I know that sounds like a cliché but it's true. John is truly a great person who is not just professional but goes that 150 % more. John was precise cordial and respectful. But that's not where it ends John has the greatest sense of humor and got along great with my husband. Trust me that's not easy to do. He's a picky guy who prides himself on knowing guiet a bit or thinks he knows everything. After John had completed the job- in one day - are you ready for that ?? I thanked him and so did my husband. After John had left my husband kept looking around and just kept saying how great our house looked And what a difference it made.. And come to think of it.. My husband never did thank me for getting on the Home Advisor Website!! It's been 2 weeks and just yesterday my husband looks at that crown molding and smiles and says. It looks soooo good and I smile and say Dilley Dilley lol private joke. We Thank you with all our hearts John. The Ansaldos

Since purchasing our home nine years ago, my wife and I have been blessed to be in a position to…read moremake upgrades. Our home is 32 years old; therefore, we are often watching home renovation shows to obtain ideas on how we can modernize things. One repair that we needed to make was to fix two window screens that had holes and needed to be rescreened. Considering that one of the screens was for a large window in our bedroom, we figured this would be a great way to finally be able to open our window and let fresh air into our room. The other items on our list were focused on upgrading lighting in a few areas in our home. After doing some research on handymen in Elk Grove, JL Handyservices with it's perfect reviews populated at the top of my Yelp search results. I immediately called Jason Le (owner) and scheduled an appointment for him to visit my home and provide me with a quote. A few days later Jason promptly arrived to do an inspection, shortly after the inspection he sent me a text with the quote. For the installation of two recessed lighting cans - one in a bathroom and another in a walk-in closet- , a motion sensitive lightbar in the garage, and two window screen replacements came to a total just over $600. The day of the appointment Jason arrived on time and ready to take care of the tasks. After asking a few questions pertaining to the temperature (brightness) of the recessed lighting, he began the installation process. Since my wife and I were working from home, he was very considerate in communicating that he would need to briefly turn off our power. Although this was a slight inconvenience, it was very short lived due to Jason's efficiency. Roughly three hours later, Jason was summoning me to check out the final product(s). Installation was very neat and Jason did a great job of cleaning any trash that was left behind. As my wife and I continue to identify areas of our home that need to be upgraded, I will be reaching out to Jason for future services. If you're looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and communicative handyman that's efficient as your nearby In-N-Out Burger...I highly recommend reaching out to Jason!

They also have a fair amount of selection of plumbing fixtures, flooring, sinks, cabinets, etc. DR Design did a fairly good job quality wise, if I had to nitpick the tile floor and some of the grout was a little subpar in that the spacing on the grout isn't even and the floor tiles don't feel great under your feet. We chose all licensed and bonded installers as we figured they would provide a higher quality of work. In only five months, a few of the 24" x 24" porcelain tiles, which had been installed on the floors of our kitchen, laundryroom, diningroom and entryway, began to come loose and one of them cracked. The installer came out and replaced the cracked tiles to our satisfaction, however over the next year, nine more tiles became loose After trying to work it out with the licensed installer, we were forced to have an independent inspection performed to see how wide spread the problem was. After having five different Tile contractors out, we were appalled that only one out of the five would we hire. Sam, from Brothers IC met with us and took the time to inspect the previous install.
