I've had gel sets from here before, fills, and I just got back from my first manicure (no chip) and pedicure here. They now have a woman who works there named Stacy who speaks perfect English and is very, very friendly. Don't get me wrong, though, all of the people here speak English and are well spoken. I mention this because I know this is a concern to some people when trying to find places to get their nails done. I had a deluxe type of pedicure where they exfoliated, pumiced, and dipped my feet in hot wax. I also got a no chip manicure directly after. All of this together cost $65. The price is a little high compared to some other places, but I've also been to cheaper places and was extremely disappointed. Everyone who works there is very nice and even the men who work there are perfectionists. I also paid close attention to how they cleaned the foot baths and watched as each employee took fresh tools out of sealed packages for each guest. I tend to bring in pictures of what I want and I recommend anyone else do the same, but I am sure they'll give you results you want. The itching was extremely intense, my nails were bleeding, and the damage was much worse than anything I had ever experienced from a nail service. Looking back, I honestly feel like I should have reported this business to the health department because something clearly was not right with the condition my nails were left in. Five months later, the itching has finally gone away, but my nails are still yellow and brittle. I can still feel peeling and damage underneath the nails, and my thumb in particular still has noticeable damage that I can physically feel. This has been a long and frustrating healing process, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering getting their nails done here to be very cautious. No nail service should leave you dealing with this kind of damage months later.
