Unfortunately, there are not many Dooney stores or even outlet stores around. My mom started purchasing Dooney bags for me about 15 years ago and I still enjoy them. This location is rarely busy and I cannot remember a time where there were more than 3 people in there. They usually have some pretty good sales and the most common I have seen is 40-50% off. The clearance section is in the right corner in the back. Usually those items are final sale and the price is as marked. The deals are great but not phenomenal. I have had better steals at other stores. I like visiting here as well because I already stop at the customer service desk for the outlet and receive a coupon book. Dooney always has a deal which is spend $125 and receive a free gift. Most of the time I received a nice small cosmetic bag that is valued at $40+. There were other times I received a keychain among other useless items for myself. But it's a bonus so I can't complain. The sales associates are usually bland here. They are friendly but not super excited or into convincing you to buys bags you don't need lol. I do like that they are not super aggressive like other outlets. It would be nice if they were not so strict about the coupon book offer. They don't have to put anything with their sales; they just mark it on your book. I have went there and forgot it was already marked off and they didn't allow me to use it again. So I left without purchasing.

LOL However, when I find myself at the outlets in St. Augustine, I always make a point to stop by the Dooney Outlet to have a look around because I never know what I may find. One thing I really love about this particular outlet versus the Coach outlet is that it is never horribly crowded. You actually have space to move about the store without bumping into people. This also allows the salespeople to be much more helpful because they don't have has many customers all at once. They have always been very friendly, and when I've gone in, they even ask if there's anything in particular I'm looking for and they go out of their way to help me find things. They have super awesome deals in here. Duh... I guess I shouldn't even have to mention that fact since it is an outlet store. Once, I picked up a large clear tote for $40. Total steal! Score! I really love using this particular bag when going to arenas for concerts, sporting events, etc. Basically anywhere they are going to want to look through your bag before you can enter. Because it's clear, they don't have to poke around in my bag quite so much because they can already see everything I have in it. Unfortunately they have hired two new people…read more One, Michelle, must have worked at Michael Kors because she does not understand the welcoming nature of Vera Bradley and acts like everyone is beneath her The other Kelly, does not know how to work a cash register and has not been trained properly on it, or was trained and forgot the training Michelle was extremely rude and acted like I was trying to steal stuff following me around the store constantly and then refused military discount even after I showed my id because Kelly had originally rung up the order and forgot to put the military discount  Kelly needs a hearing aid, I told her 3 times my phone number, my husband finally had to tell it to her.She also refused to let go of the shopping bag until I pointed out the money was sitting right in front of her and I wasn't trying to steal the purchase. It's been a bit of a miss at the outlet location, but I guess there just isn't the variety or "newness" of the regular stores. Same with service here. Either someone is following me around the entire time, or doesn't acknowledge my presence. (Which is totally fine by me... I usually know what I'm looking for and don't require a ton of help.) I will say, when I can find a pair of shoes I like, I snatch them up. They are pretty good quality and last for quite awhile. Same for most of the clothing too. The pants here don't seem to fit my body type, but hey, you can't win em all. I do really enjoy their dresses though, and the sale racks, (while usually packed with stuff) can be a bit difficult to navigate, you can sometimes find a pretty good steal here.

Sometimes they're having a great sale and other times they're not. Before I picked up my online order, I opted to look around. There wasn't anything in particular that caught my eye. The store was well kept, organized, and team members seemed friendly. I stood in line to pickup my online order. I gave the team member my last name, she went to the back, and within a few minutes I was on my way. I was lucky enough to find parking in front, but beware, if it's a busy day at the outlets, parking can be problematic.

I do not visit as much as I would like but I go when I can. Every time I have walked into this store, I was greeted by a staff member. It always seems like the staff is busy and productive instead of standing around like other establishments. The staff is also very friendly and personable. I think every time I have been to the register, they have engaged in conversation. J. Crew used to have a punch card that only ran a couple months each year. Each time you visited, they would mark off your visit and after 3 visits, you received 20% off your next purchase. That was really cool but I only completed it once! They also have a student discount if you show them your student ID. That always helps me! The store is very clean and tidy. The music playing is always pleasant. I have rarely seen items out of place because the staff is usually walking around checking everything.
