Highly recommend! Lovingly took our rambunctious dogs and taught us how to be better puppy parents.

Definitely something happened & without open communication & cameras we were told nothing happened. We tried a day care visit afterwards to try and glet past this & instead things worsened. The lack of accountability & transparency (cameras) seems there's just a bad mojo at this place. We're done forever.

HOLY SMOKE! This place is awesome and they got my wife and I out of a jam…read more Allow me to begin, my wife and I are both full time pastors and we were just going there to check the place out for the future. Most of the doggy daycare places we knew required a prior evaluation before they would allow the animal to be boarded as well as all of their information (shots, vets ... ). On the way there, we received a call that one of our parishioners was being flown to a hospital in South Bend in serious condition and we were being requested to be with the family. After explaining this to the kind people at The Truth About Dogs, they took the information we had concerning vaccinations and allowed us to leave Finnegan with them while we kept going to South Bend. While they had him, they did their evaluations and took EXTREMELY good care of our little landshark (he's only 8 months old at this point and going through the bratty, everything I find is mine to destroy, stage). * Will we be back? YES!! * Will we use them for anything other than daycare when we are in town? YES! It's about 40 mil;es each way and we have signed up for obedience classes beginning in a few weeks. If you need someone who is trustworthy, kind and respectful of your furbaby, you need look further than these people.

On December 5, 2020, after a wonderful vacation out of the country, I came home and immediately…read morefound my cat lifeless in the corner. Initially I thought he may have had a seizure or a stroke. The pet sitter had just left at 8 pm and I arrived home at 11:15 pm so I would have never guessed he'd been laying there all day struggling to live....but I watched my camera footage and that is exactly what had happened. He had laid there, attempting to get up twice and failing, once moaning out in pain and he was ignored, even laughed at. The sitter and her boyfriend walked past him over and over and never checked on him. The position he was laying in wasn't normal and it never became concerning when he cried or did not move in well over 6 hours. Combine that with the slamming of my cabinet doors while she fought with her boyfriend, putting her shoes on my brand new furniture, and leaving pee soaked diapers and condom wrappers in my bathroom trashcan, I cannot in good faith recommend this company. My cat suffered needlessly. The contract I filled out with them gave them more contacts than asked for in case of an emergency and my daughter lives 2 streets away. All they would have had to do was care and call for help. After I sent a detailed email stating the exact time each incident of my cat trying to get up and moaning out in pain happened, I got no response. I sent it again via facebook messenger and was told they read my email yesterday and again, they were very sorry for my loss. Sorry for my loss? Where is the apology for allowing my cat to lay there dying hour after hour? Where is the apology for the disrespect for my home? Where is the verification that the girl entrusted with my pets care has been fired and will never be allowed to do this to another pet or family? My heart is broken and I'm in complete shock that someone who chooses to work with pets had such disregard for a pet in very obvious need of help.
