My puppy was nervous on day one but now she loves going in and the staff worked with her so she could have play friends. It was a couple of days before they had her introduced and they did it safely. I love the photos and videos they post on facebook. I also got updates and they seemed happy when I called to ease my mind. Lucy Pearl even walks better on a lease when she sees other dogs!

If they are out of their depth or need a second opinion they have sent us to Purdue University which I appreciate. I'm on my last dog as I don't want to leave any pets behind. Dr Duncan is now the senior veterinarian, though I remember when she first began. She does her best to work with my now limited income which has helped so much, and Andrea has been grooming my dogs since she was just a youngster. My Lhasa Apsos have given her plenty of hair to work with over the years. You can count on their choice in flea and tick protection, too, as I live out in the county where deer, coyotes, and ground squirrels surrond my yard, yet I have not seen one bug on my animals in many decades. SBAC has cared for my pets from the first to my last, and I thank them! Mary Beth

I called to get a urinalysis done, and I was told he could not be seen there and that I must take him to the emergency vet. I understand that male cats can get blockages, but either way, a urinalysis must be done to determine what the issue is. The woman on the phone was rude to me -- this is unacceptable. I then called my dog's vet, spoke to the receptionist, and took my cat there within the next hour. He has a UTI, is now on antibiotics and special food, and will get rechecked in three weeks. I will never return to the South Bend Animal Clinic, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. Thumbs down.

We had hoped we could control her health but she was getting progressively worse. We tried other animal clinics but they were too busy to get to us soon. When we got back home a few days later, we had a letter from them with our pet's paw print along with a sympathy card. We did not expect this kind of experience but it was very appreciated and thoughtful. We may never have the opportunity to use them again being from out of state, but I would highly recommend them for any kind of pet care you may need.

He came back sick and my other dog picked up whatever he had. It was a holiday weekend and they were both extremely ill. I called on Monday and they were just too busy to see either dog. By Wednesday I told them I would come in regardless, and they finally agreed. Both dogs had to be put on IVs because they were so dehydrated. I never should've gone back. Lesson learned. Never again.
