As we celebrate our first month with our amazing little (but growing fast) Leo the mini Newfypoo, it's obvious, not only from all the reviews, but from our personal dealings with Luke as well as the line of referrals that we were a part of in discovering Rocky Ridge Acres, that they are a caring and attentive breeder. Just saying the word "Newfypoo" is a hoot; never said that word before in our lives before January 2021 and now it's a part of our regular vocabulary LOL. We loved that RRA doesn't breed litters and litters at a time. At least what we've seen during and following our process (we still view their website, just to watch the progress of the next litter), they take great care to focus on weaning and caring for a small number of puppies at once. I think this level of care transfers to the puppies because we've seen nothing but good health, smart learning and just downright special puppies from the 3 (one which is Leo) dogs we've met from RRA. And, by the way, all three of us drove from Pittsburgh to Indiana for our puppy. That 14-hour roundtrip drive is testament to the "worth it" factor! We could not love Leo any more - he has turned our world upside down and brought a level of happiness & joy to our home that we've never felt before. I want to start by saying that when looking for our Doodle, I researched/spoke to over 30 breeders before choosing Rocky Ridge Acres. Luke and his family made the decision so easy. From the first communication, Luke was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. I had what felt like a million questions and he never made me feel like they were too many. Reading other reviews of happy pawrents, we knew this was it. We weren't able to pick up Charlie for two weeks after his ready date, and Luke was 100% flexible for us. He worked with our flight nanny to ensure a safe and happy puppy on arrival. Charlie has been a rambunctious ball of joy since we received him. If we have a complaint, it's that we can't walk anywhere without every person stopping us to tell us it looks like we are walking the cutest little teddy bear LOL. Charlie is also one of the most intelligent dogs we've ever been around. He picked up potty training and basic commands in no time. He came to us without anxiety and social fear which tells you that the puppies are socialized within the family. We love our pup and we will definitely come back to Rocky Ridge Acres for our next baby! read more

Our search for a new family pet quickly led us to settle on a mini Goldendoodle puppy. And despite being located many states away, we were thrilled to find several local friends who shared positive recommendations about Rocky Ridge Acres. When we contacted them, we were pleased to find that Luke took the time to read our emails/questions and personally respond quickly and compassionately. We knew we had found the perfect breeder for us. Once we selected our Tilly girl, we got several photos, videos, and updates about her well-being including info about her first vet visit. Now, 10 months later, she is the perfect combination of calm and spunky. She very easily settled into playing with our 3 children (and their friends), getting along amazingly well with other dogs, and is easily trained and adaptable to the many changes of our busy family schedule. It is unfortunate that we live in a time where puppy scams are prevalent across the Internet. We have had our sweet little pup Raffy for just 7 days, and he is amazing! We decided to get our puppy through Rocky Ridge Acres and highly recommend them if you too are looking to add to your family. We have had Harley our F1b minature Irishdoodle almost a full year now. We had a wonderful experience with Luke and Rocky Ridge Acres from the get-go. We did tons of research and called multiple breeders, and with Rocky Ridge Acres it felt right from the get-go. Our f1b mini goldendoodle is smart, well tempered, well behaved, easily potty trained, and has been great with our child. Luke is awesome at communication and answered all of my questions. They send video and picture updates once you select your pup. We just got our puppy, Georgia, last week and she is precious! I live in NC and was nervous about getting a puppy sight unseen and was also concerned about how to get her from Indiana but Luke made everything very easy. He was very transparent with vet reports, and when I spoke with the vet who takes care of his dogs, they were very positive about him as a breeder. He sent us pictures as the puppy got bigger and then he found a puppy transport man who delivered the dog to our house so she did not have to fly unaccompanied on a plane, which I was also worried about. Rocky ridge acres is truly the best dog breeder. The mini doodles they produce are stellar. I currently now own two of their pups from different litters, one is an F1 and the newest is an F1B. For my first pup I met up with Luke personally for puppy pickup and he sent me pictures along the way. The 2nd pup was delivered from the airport. Luke is extremely professional and a pleasure to do business with. I will still buy and recommend puppies from him in the future as the most frequent question I hear in regards to my pups is "where did you get her". Amazing and words cannot explain how happy we are with Rocky Ridge Acres. We found them through Google ad we were looking for a different pup, then our normal beagles. They were decently priced and were willing to video chat and answer any questions we had. They are very accommodating to us, and waited for us to drive from Michigan to get our pup. Our dog is amazing, we are very happy with our first non-rescue dog purchase. We felt very comfortable with them.
