Just a follow up on the Darin Bontrager Dog Breeder. After he saw my review he quickly refunded my money. Well done and honorable!

She was delivered to us promptly and she was every bit as perfect in person as she was in the picture. She is loveable, playful, full of life, extremely smart and athletic. We bought TWO boxers from Jay Eash - BOTH were diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy and Heart Arrhythmia at the age of 14 months. One had Mange at the age of 10 months. Finally, one DIED at the age of 17 months from Fibrocartilaginous Embolism (FCE). Although Jay Eash is a nice person and his boxers are BEAUTIFUL -- we believe that his blood line of Boxers have many serious hereditary issues. We have brought this to Jay's attention -- so be sure to request and review the veterinary reports and tests for the parents of any puppies you plan to buy from Jay... if any testing has been done... For more information about these life shortening diseases -- please look up http://www.boxerunderground.com/apr_bu_99/dr.htm or go to www.boxerunderground.com and search "Cardiomyopathy". This article describes Boxer Cardiomyopathy well and clearly states it is a hereditary disease that is passed from mother or father to offspring. The diagnosis is the boxer's heart may stop at any time -- no matter the activity level -- and it is unkown how long the boxer will live -- could be 2 months or 8 year -- however it is highly likely the dog will die from heart stoppage. Unfortunately, this disease can be asymptematic (no symptons), result in "fainting" spells (immediately see vet) or sudden death (with no warning) We wish you luck finding a good Boxer puppy -- we have had Boxers all our lives and they are great dogs. We are sharing our experience and learnings to hopefully help families avoid the disappointment we are going through over the loss of one of our pups and the concern we are experiencing for our still living pup (19 months)
