Not telling customers at the time of purchase is a foul, then not offering at least in store credit is a double foul. DO NOT give them your business. They no longer have my business, my family's business or the business of anyone else I can convince to go somewhere else.

Not only do they offer board, but are open for grooming on Sundays. Picking up a clean and happy dog is the perfect ending to a boarding. In addition they train police K/9, the owner (I think) is from a family of police officers. I walked out totally impressed in their operation, their attitude and canine care. Worth a visit.

Every effort is taken to ensure that people wanting to adopt are ready and get matched with just the right companion. My wife and I adopted our now 15 week old Phoebe (formerly Chloe) about a month and half ago. The entire process start to finish took about a week and a half. We filled out an application online and interviewed that weekend. The staff worked with our schedule to make the interview possible and let us meet with several of the puppies in the litter to get to know them a little. The facilities themselves were clean and well-maintained. The animals weren't crowded, and we were able to play with one puppy from the litter at a time in a small, private room. We were interviewed by two staff members while we played with the puppies. We were called the following Thursday saying we had been selected to adopt our Phoebe. Pet Refuge even facilitated a time for Phoebe to meet our older dog that Saturday when I came to pick her up. On top of the terrific service and thorough process, the value of adopting a pet from Pet Refuge is tremendous. The adoption fee for our Phoebe was $200--this included her first three rounds of shots, spaying, microchipping, a voucher for her rabies immunization (to use when she was old enough), and a goodie bag with some food, toys, coupons, etc. Overall we were very impressed from start to finish!

How would the dog ever get used to others if she is not allowed to even meet with possible adoptees? The ladies there, obviously volunteers that dont care; were dismissive since I dont want the dog THEY wanted me to take. Pet Refuge sucks and you need staff in there that actually WANT to be there and actually care for the animals. There were kittens running all over the place. I feel sorry for those animals.

My kitty is my best friend and follows me everywhere. The staff was so kind and loving. They couldn't believe my kitty was a senior. They checked her everywhere from nose to tail. Kitty had to have tail removed because of a malignant lump. She is so bright ideaed and loving. I couldn't find my carrier and she weighs 16#. They loaned me a carrier and gave me a bag of food because I was out of her prescription food for high sugar. The caring was so wonderful and sincere. I found my new vet!!! Late review since we just learned they changed management a while back…read more We thought this was a good daycare for our dog after a few trial days so we bought a package, but upon first day of the package they said our dog wasn't getting along with another dog (so what happened the first 2 days?) --so we took her out. I guess they let all 30 dogs go out to play at the same time with no separation of bigger /smaller dogs. I asked to transfer the package to my 2nd dog who was a puppy and not neutered yet and was waiting until they were 2 years as recommended, - they said it's fine and I can use it whenever...but when new management took over they didn't notify us through email or anything that packages expire. So now we just wasted a few hundred for nothing because they won't honor it. Crappy new management who won't work with their customer- you could have earned more money in the future if you actually tried to meet in the middle with a solution. They wanted me to buy more services- NO THANKS.
