The person trying to help me out was very kind and definitely tried. Unfortunately they do not communicate amongst each other. I called 2 hours before going to this dealer because I was driving from far away to see a particular vehicle, get told on the phone the vehicle is there and available. Explained my situation and they said "not a problem, its here and ready" I make an appointment and drive an hour and a half during rush hour traffic. 41miles each way. I get there and guess what? The boss decided to take that exact vehicle home for the day, and even though they don't close for another hour, hes not willing to bring it back for me to test/check it out. Nothing but an apology from the sales guy was given. I had the money in hand, wasn't even going to haggle the price because it was exactly what I wanted. 26k sale missed. Only giving one star because Orlando was very helpful but other than that, STEER CLEAR OF THIS FLY INFESTED PLACE. As a 23 year old first time car leaser, they got over on me. I left with a 2013 Nissan Juke that SEEMED to be in good condition with no current or previous ssues, but after driving the car for a couple of weeks, I got a bad leak & my hood started to smoke a lot. I took it to a real Nissan dealer for a diagnostic which revealed just how fucked up the vehicle was/could've been if I hadn't stopped driving it immediately & brought it in. I will say, It is in perfect condition NOW thanks to Nissan, however I still think its very fucked on Karplus Warehouse's end. Why would you sell a car to someone without telling them what's really good? It's unsafe, unethical & just flat out wrong. Called ahead they had the 2015 Sedona waiting test drive steering not centered let go of steering pulls slightly to the right. Dings and scratches. $1,500 LoJack added to price I said remove it they said no. I said with tax license and registrations here's my max price. Manager intervened knocked off $700 I said no. Mind you I have pre-approval letter in had from credit union with max amount I'm willing to spend on a used van. They did honor Carfax price and I would have paid out of pocket $550 over loan amount to seal the deal. No deal I walked out their loss. The van also has noticeable dings and scratches that I doubt they would be willing to fix. To me it was a bait and switch. Bait low on Carfax show up and they add lojack. So I went to this place far away from my house because the asking price of the car I wanted was low, 13.8k for a 08 Corvette!! I expected taxes & registration but there was another catch. All cars that were promotional are apparently repo cars & they have a mandatory fee for a tracking system that ranges from 1-2k. They also told me how much the total cost of the car would be with interest, tax, registration & all fees, turns out they were trying to steal 3k from me because I did the math in front of them, asked them were those were coming from, manager just got up & walked away!! Didn't even say a word!! The total cost of a 13.8k car somehow went up to 20k!! With interest, tax & registration should have been around 17k!! By the way my down payment was going to be 3k, they were just trying to pocket those!! DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

What can I say, they sold us a lemon. My girlfriend was looking for a car to replace her old one and she only had $2k down. She found the car she wanted on auto trader and came here to test it out. We took it out for a spin and it actually drove pretty well. We went ahead and did the paperwork and bought the car at 11% apr which was definitely higher than what we were hoping. After we drove off with the car, 5 miles later the check engine light came on. Soon after that the car started chugging as in the transmission felt sluggish. Sometimes when the car tried to change gears it felt like the car was hitting a wall, It was really bad. My girlfriend brought it in to have it checked out by an independent mechanic and they said that it was the oxygen sensor which she got replaced; the timing belt slipped and need to be replaced; their was a leak in the oil gasket; and a few other minor problems. We got the oxygen sensor replaced which took care of the the check engine light but the transmission was still popping. A month passed and the check engine light came on again. We took it into the mechanic again and they said the catalytic converter need to be replaced but should be done at a dealership. But then on the drive there, all the emergency lights came on and the car shut down. After we towed it to another dealership and they said that the alternator had died and that alone would cost $900 to replace... anyways this isn't even the end of the story but you get the idea. read more

Wasn't planning on writing a review on this place. Dealt with them a few years ago but figured after reading the comments and going through the same thing, I had to leave one. So, girlfriend needed a car urgently. We went here and they were nice enough. We saw a Jeep Grand Cherokee. She liked it. It looked pretty so we started to inquire about it. They showed us the carfax which showed no prior accidents. We worked out a deal and went with it. We also got an extended warranty. All I gotta say is you live and learn. When getting in the car to drive away, the driver side door lock wasn't working automatically. Their response to that was, "Good thing you got the exteneded warranty." Yeah right!!! That thing was useless! Covered NOTHING! Because we didn't read the fine print. We just went with what they told us. But even the things the fine print state they should cover, they didn't. Anyway, that car just kept falling apart. Leaking fluids everywhere. Lights stopped working. We ended up putting so much money into that piece of crap. And it wasn't small little things. They were big jobs and too many to list. By the time we got rid of it, the transmission was going, still leaking fluids and one of the doors was falling off. Now, as I said, I wasn't going to leave a review on this place but after reading some reviews I am seeing they pulled the same scam on us as they did on many others. And THIS IS THE SCAM....... You ask for a car fax and it shows no prior damage. But if you ask for an autocheck, they won't show it to you. Reason is, Autocheck will report frame damage but carfax won't. Our machanic looked at the car and told us the car was in a major accident because there was some serious frame damage to it. Turns out Karsplus is buying cars at auction with FRAME DAMAGE that is reported on AutoCheck but not CarFax... then only gives you the CarFax and states "see, no reported damage". My advice to you would be steer clear of this place but if you do go to them, make sure they show you every report out there and bring a mechanic. read more

I won't generalize anything about the staff but the guy who was showing me around wasn't knowledgeable about the cars. But these guys have a LOT of cars to choose from. I went there for a Hyundai but found an Acura which I almost bought (Didn't quite prefer the deal) I would not recommend this place unless you are an experienced car buyer. Don't just walk in and try to wing it. Not a good idea. I had done my research on both the cars I had looked at. That's why I was able to stay away from making a purchase. The manager was pointing out that I was a single guy negotiating a price and he had three staff to support his side of the price. That was pretty lame, I should say. And btw, the ads they had posted online had stock pictures from Hyundai website and when I went there, the interior was full of s***. The LED display was broken. The seats were super dirty. It was a downright awful trick to put in fake pictures and asking people to come take a look at the car. read more

I called in advance about the car I wanted to see, but after waiting around for an incompetent 'salesman' to find the car (I showed him where it was) and then find the key, we find that the battery is completely dead. The car won't even try to turn over and no accessories turn on. The car I'm looking at is also dirty on the inside, with crud on the seat and such. I'm told the car will be cleaned/detailed AFTER I purchase it.... Not my kind of place, all hustle and bustle with signs all over that read "If you don't buy your car today, it may be GONE tomorrow." Eddie helped me out tremendously when I went in to look for a specific car I could not find anyplace else.I was worried about a used car lot, but I found what I wanted. A little rough around the edges, but Eddie made sure the car was road worthy for me. It took a week but he never lost patience with me. I have had the car a week, my mechanic did an alignment, but said that the car drove just fine, so I drove it to Palm Springs and back... in the rain.. in a BMW Z4. Not one hiccup, not one sputter. The car ran amazingly well. I'll be back in the new year to get one of their Mini Coopers for my girlfriend. If you are buying a used car and don't do research on what to look for or a buyer's guide, you can't fault anyone but yourself. Certainly not a salesman. Nice friendly staff but that's where it ends. My mistake was not checking Karplus out on Yelp after finding the car I wanted on Cars.com. No need to repeat all the posted comments except to say that my experiences are echoed in most of the reviews. Two specifics. The car that I wanted required a battery jump before I could test drive (that's not a problem when a car sits idle for any length of time, but I called ahead so they had plenty of time to make the car ready). I told the salesman what my budgeted OTD (out the door) price was, including a 24 month power train warranty and he got that price approved by his manager. Because I was still waiting on my insurance check, I told them that I would complete the deal in 2 or 3 days when the check was received. All seemed good. I liked the car and the price. 3 days later I called the store and told them I was ready to complete the deal once my repair shop completed their checking of the car.They had 24 hours notice. I knew we were in trouble when they had to wheel out the jumper and when the car quit about 1/4 mile away from the shop. They did noting about the battery or anything else. My shop found several relatively minor issues, some correctable, some not. Then it came time to close the deal. Suddenly the OTD price was increased by almost $1,400. lots of shaking and jiving, just as one expects in dealing with a used car dealer. I was promised a new battery but lots of hedging and dodging about the other stuff. It was becoming clear that I would be on the hook for all post-deal repairs. In other words, these guys weren't interested in customer satisfaction; just in moving vehicles...and did the usual pricing nonsense when they sense the customer is motivated to buy. I walked after about an hour of negotiating, but the phone calls didn't stop for two days. My suggestion is to think long and hard before dealing with a used car dealer like this who doesn't worry about reputation or customer satisfaction. read more

They make the potentially horrific car buying process pretty easy & comfortable! Don't judge a book by it's "cover". They don't have all the bells and whistles like a luxury dealership, but they will take your "challenged" credit and get you approved and into a vehicle if you need it. Downside is, financing is pricey, but we anticipated that =( They have an "as is" policy - you can buy the extended warenty thru a private company, which we did. Anyone who complains their car fell apart after unfortunately didn't pay attention to all of that first. Very kind salesman (James & Renee) and a super thoughtful finance guy (John) who even brought food to my daughter during our few hours there. Can't say enough good things about them! Let me start by saying that a two star rating is "Meh. I've experienced better." It does NOT mean "don't come here under any circumstances." My opinion of this place is based on a comparison of two dealer experiences. Experience #1: Purchased a used car at a Nissan dealership. Of course the sales people were pushy, but I was treated with respect. I purchased a very inexpensive used car but it came with the works. Four brand new tires, a full tank of gas, new wiper blades, fresh oil change, and detailed (even though it was clean to begin with). I didn't have to ask for these things and that car ran like a CHAMP for years. Experience #2: Purchased a far more expensive used car at Karplus Warehouse. The sales people were pushy, but it was nothing I couldn't handle. They are salesmen after all. However my biggest disappointment was that even though my car was not cheap, the dealer sure was! They sold me a car with a quarter tank of gas and refused to fill it up for me. Nothing on the car was really changed because everything it came with was in decent condition. Fluids were okay but not freshly changed. I did get them to clean it but they did a SLOPPY job. So sloppy that I had to clean it again myself when I got home. They couldn't even bother to put the floor mats in the right way they just threw them in the car. Lazy! That said, I am still happy with my car because it was the car that I wanted. Regardless of what extras it came with, it was the car that I wanted. These guys do need serious lesson in customer service though. What may seem like minor details go a long way when it comes to a customer's satisfaction. And as other reviews have stated, you ALWAYS get a car looked at by an independent mechanic! The dealer's job is to inspect the car and make sure it is safe to drive... nothing more. Even if they do see a minor repair that needs to be done, if it isn't critical, they probably won't fix it. It's your responsibility to catch these things before driving a car off the lot. read more

I spoke to a finance person who point blank said our cars are sold as is and that they would do nothing to repair the vehicle unless I paid for it...
