Scam alert! This hole tries to defraud the public in every possible way. They lie about the car prices online by up to $7000. They claim to charge for bogus security systems that they claim they installed but can't show you where they put it. They charge additional fees for "inspections" but they don't certify or warranty their work. The convertible Top was defective. The clutch needed replacement, the windshield wipers were inoperable. But they put a fee of $3000 for their used car inspection and service. I have worked at dealerships and been a mechanic for 43 years. This place is so fraudulent, it's a cliché. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO AND HAVE YOUR MONEY STOLEN!!! So it all started with a car that was advertised on their website for $5k. I called to ask for more information and David or Daniel (forgot the name) told me that it was at a different location for maintenance (oil change etc) and he told me that the location where the car is at, is closed weekends and that they'll have the car that following Monday evening. I go Monday and spoke to the salesperson and the salesperson said they don't have the car yet that it's getting serviced or whatever and he said he will call us as soon as it's available. 2 weeks pass by and I call thinking that they forgot to call me and they told me the same thing so I was getting annoyed at this point (this should've been the first red flag) and I told them what's going on it doesn't take 2 weeks for an oil change??? So a few days later they call me and tell me it's ready and I go to check it out. The car was DIRTY and guess what... the oil was DIRTY still! We sat down and started looking at the numbers and it went from $5k to $7k because of a stupid GPS and anti theft system that I did not ask for and apparently they can't "take it out". I'm looking at the paperwork and the total price came out to 10k like wtf?????????? No where on the paper did it say $5k. I'm glad I didn't get it. So many red flags!!!!!!! God saved me honestly. I found what seemed to be a great deal on two Ford Focus cars on their website using CarGurus. I called and got horrible customer service by a phone rep, and then a, "supervisor." He was rude, brief, unwilling to help, and acted as if it was a burden for me to call, and ask about purchasing two cars. One sales rep told me the cars were not available, and our call got disconnected due to bad phone service. I called back got another person, and he said the cars were available. They will tell you anything for you to come into their lot. I specifically stated that I was further out so I wanted to talk to someone about the cars so I can make the 4+ hour trip. They were not interested. At all. Not even because I was buying two cars. Again, they were so rude, and acted like my call was a burden taking them away from something else. It was awkward, AF. I specifically communicated to the supervisor that I had my own financing, so I wanted to know about all other fees outside of the normal registration and government fees. He stated that there was a $1,500.00 fee for GPS tracking which I told him I wasn't interested since I was bringing my own financing and they would be paid in full. In other words, I wouldn't be financing through them in which case a GPS tracking system would not make sense. If I wasn't, it would make sense so that they can protect their assets. He was super rude, and said that if I didn't want the GPS tracking at $1,500.00 that I would have to pay the full price of the car. WHAT? It's a used car from 2014/2016, one of them with reported damage??? I am glad I did my research, called, and spoke with them to understand that they are a very dangerous place to purchase a car. I have been dealing with car companies for half my life. But I have never seen or had a worse experience than I did at this place. First, the salesman I spoke on the phone was a joke in person. As a salesperson, you should have some personal skills. Greet them, make them feel welcome. It seemed like I was bothering this guy. He took me to the truck I wanted to see, walked 10 feet in front of me the whole way. Once I got to the truck I could see this was not going to be a good experience. The truck was dirty inside and out. Windows are covered in crap. Obviously they don't care about appearance of the vehicle. He took me on a test drive and barely spoke a word. I asked him a few questions about the truck, be he couldn't answer just fundamental questions that any salesman should know. When we got back to the dealership he walked me into their offices. I've seen better shacks than this place. It was dirty and the tables way too close together, so you had no real privacy and you could hear other deals going down. The salesman never offered be anything to make my stay in this hell hole any better. Once my salesman finally got back to the table he plopped me at, he had NO idea what the sale price of the truck was. I had to show him. He then left to speak to their finance department....even though I was buying cash in full. While he was gone, I could overhear their finance guy talking to another couple about the car they wanted to buy. The finance guy told them they were going to be charged an additional $1500 for an alarm system. He told the buyers he had NO CHOICE. He had to charge them the fee. That's odd, there is NO law that states this, but he was spinning this garbage anyway. After about 15 minutes the same finance guy came to my table to let me know what the out the door cost would be....and he also tried to tell me I had to purchase the alarm system. I just purchased my 2010 BMW 128i here. They have a ton of cars here and all of the people working there are pleasant and helpful. Overall I got a great price on a very clean car. I dealt with a few people, Eli was the person texting with me and helped me during the purchase also Aamir (I think it's with 2 A's, if not I apologize) also helped with me with the test drive and final delivery of the car. Both were easy to deal with and honest. Now they do have the etching lo-jak/ anti theft thing. So expect $995 added to your bill which I wasn't expecting and didn't want but it's take it or leave and in the end I was still getting a good deal on the car. Also your insurance in CA looks at that as a customization to the car causing your premium to go up offsetting any anti-theft discounts they might offer. Just an FYI. Went to look at a vehicle last night with my wife with the full intention of purchasing. $13,991 list price. Almost $20k out to door. My wife and I were baffled at the difference, so we asked for a breakdown of the cost. It took three times of us asking for specifics to reveal that they add on accessories like TheftPatrol for $2100 (which is pretty much a warranty that they said is non-negotiable), door sealant for $550 (what?), gap insurance for $800 (that's normal, but if you add the car to your policy on the spot, no need for it), and other misc fees to jack up the price. They hit me with the "it's the market's fault" or "all dealers do this" or "we've been in business for 30 years, this is just how it is." They tried to make us feel stupid. I get that dealers have to make $ on foolish buyers and try to add things on, but when they tell me almost $3k of accessories are non-negotiable, and get quite aggressive about it, we walked. This was a horrible experience buying a car. I test drove my 2018 Toyota Corolla with Amir, who had to manually unlock the car, but said that there was an automatic key fob that I would receive once I was done with financing the vehicle should I choose to purchase it. I did purchase this vehicle and then Amir went off to find the key. He was gone for almost an hour while I waited outside on a bench. I should have known right then that something was not right. When he finally returned he said he was having trouble finding the autimatic Fob and would mail it to me within the next week. No key ever arrived. I called karplus on 6 different occasions and explained the situation over and over again but was always told that "Amir" was not working and they would leave a message for him so that he could call me back. He never did. Of Course!!! The fifth time I called the finance manager told me there never was an "automatic key fob for this vehicle". I was simply lied to several times because Amir wanted his commission. I was lied to when I test drove the vehicle and lied to after I purchased the vehicle. As if that wasnt enough. I just got off of the phone with these people again. The first woman I spoke to said "do you want to talk to Amir? He's here right now." I told her I would rather speak to the manager who unsurprisingly was no help. He said to me "Amir is not here right now but I will speak to him and have him call you". I called him on this lie immediatly and said "Actually the previous woman I spoke to just said he is here so now I know that you are also lying". These people are super shady and will say anything to get your money including flat out lie. Now I have to pay $300 out of pocket for a new Key fob so that the 2018 corolla I just purchased doesnt feel like a car made in 1993. Bonus: they charged me a processing fee to file all of the paper work for changing the title with the DMV. But...... They didnt do this either and I had to deal with the DMV myself. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE and the salesman John. I came by to look at a vehicle I was interested in last night and customer service was horrible. I first called and spoke to John to inquire about the vehicle to make sure its still available he said it was and to ask for him when i get there. When I first got there no sales person is the be found, I talked to the manager that was there and they called John over the intercom, after waiting a while John still doesn't show up. The manager noticing this kindly helped me out and showed me the vehicle, he left me with the key to take a look at everything and said he was going to go find John. John still takes forever to come, by the time he comes I've already looked at and inspected all the cosmetic damages that I can see, which was quite a bit but that's expected with a used car. I knew right away I didn't want the car, there was front bumper damage with a cracked grill and the bumper color didn't match the rest of the car, I can tell its been worked on, but I was still interested in looking at other cars on the lot. When John came over he asked if I wanted to see the carfax, I said I didn't need to see it. He then asked if the keys in my hand were for the vehicle, I said yes and he didn't say anything else he grabbed them and just started walking away. Didn't ask if I was interested in looking at anything else, and didn't give me a chance to ask about other cars, he just beelined it but to where ever he was to begin with. I talked to the manager that had helped me out and let him know exactly what happened and told him that was super unprofessional. Just because I wasn't interested in one doesn't mean I wasn't interested in anything else. The manager was very nice though and offered if he could offer me anything but at that point I was already very off put by John and his rude and uninterested attitude I no longer wanted anything to do with the dealership. So I basically needed another car since my previous one had engine problems. Sooo...I googled, KBB'ed and searched through the internet trying to find another vehicle. I happen to stumble upon KarPlus Warehouse and looked through their inventory. I saw a gorgeous BMW 320i and decided to go to their dealership and check it out for myself. Upon getting there, I was stopped and asked by Anthony, a great salesman, if I had made an appointment. I said no and told him the car I was interested in. Anthony helped me out a TON by being truthful and honest about selling me the car. He was very kind and upfront about my financing options; as my credit was not the greatest. Long story short, Anthony really helped me get the car I was looking at and he was very helpful and realistic. (Which is very appreciated) Anyways, though Anthony was a great person and salesmen that helped my out a lot, I gave this place 3 stars due to the cars automotive condition. Now, mind you that the company did sell me the car for the current market value, which I am not saying is bad. My concern was the multipoint inspection that acclaimed that nothing was wrong with the car. Now just to say that the car runs well, starts up and drives okay is the minimal acceptance that no buyer should go by. I ended up taking my car to an ACTUAL BMW service center. Now, FYI when you take your car to a manufactures dealership for service, they do a legitimate, comprehensive, 100% thorough inspection of your car. After the analysis of my car, they found 3 issues; they were a leaking oil gasket cover, a weak aftermarket battery and I needed a wheel alignment. This ended up costing my around $2500. All in all, I cant be mad and the dealership has a "sold as is"clause. While most of the vehicles have been repossessed and the dealership does provide the CarFax, any buyer should keep in mind of a potential problem with any car. Though the prices are attractive and the dealership is fair, there is more than meets the eye than just a car that seems fine. read more

I don't even know where to start. I got my 2016 3 series bmw at the end of June 2021 (last day of June) literally 10 months ago. I went in to trade in my 2011 Infiniti. The day AFTER IN THE MORNING I got my car STOLEN. I went to the market and I was in there for 8 mins I know that because I was in a hurry and I kept checking the time and this *might* not have anything to do with them but when I got my car they added theft protection and honestly that didn't help at all. Luckily, the police did find my car the day after. When I got my car back my car contracts were missing, and one check that I had there for emergencies, and my other personal stuff. The first month (basically July) both of my front tires were bad, they went flat one morning out of the blue and I also needed to get an oil change because my car was telling me that it needed an oil change. 2 months after fixing my tires (November 2021) I heard my muffler start making weird noises and it was embarrassing because it was pretty loud. And not only that my brakes started making noise too so obviously I had to fix that. And again 2 MONTHS later after my muffler started going bad, Mid January my alternator went bad and I had to replace it..... mind you it's a bmw, these parts are not cheap. Now it's April 6th, 2022 (3 months later after fixing my alternator and muffler) I need new back tires and my mechanic is Also saying that I need a sensor and belt. I got a battery malfunction warning too(this also happened before I got my alternator replaced). This is just the maintenance ^^^ Now the customer service: When I would call them, they would put me on hold for the longest time and when they did answer they would tell me that Lon wasn't there and I would have to call another time (this still happens) which I understand but sometimes it would be simple questions that they could answer. When I finally got the chance to talk to Lon I asked for my contract and maintenance report that they do before selling a car and I requested this stuff a while ago and I still haven't received them through email and yes I gave them my email. I ended up just calling my loan lenders and my insurance and they provided me with what I needed that same day. When I would tell Lon about my car maintenance he told me to go to SHELDON AUTO CARE but I ended up not going because there was a lot of bad reviews stating that they did poor work and they scammed their customers so I was not going to risk it. There was this one time I called karplus to ask if they can send me a cancellation form for my express 5 portfolio insurance because it was basically worthless and he said that I would have to go in and sign the contract there at the dealer but I moved so I was far and I had told him that. Instead I called portfolio insurance and they sent me the cancellation form through email while I was on the phone with them, it could all be so easy and they make it seem impossible. It's just very stressful. I haven't received my maintenance report til this day, I even called Sheldon auto care where they did the maintenance report and they haven't sent it to me either. I was 22 when I bought my car and I just turned 23, and I am a student and I also work, so yes I am having a hard time. I know I signed up to own a bmw but it's been less than a year and if they really did the maintenance report and checked that the car was okay to sell before selling it I would not be going through a lot of maintenance repairs or hard times in general with my car. I love my car which is why I haven't given up on it but deep down I regret going to KARPLUS WAREHOUSE, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. You will regret it forever, literally. I would understand if I had to fix my car after a year or 8 months after getting my car but it started the first month I got my car :(. I seriously want to sue them they should not be open for business. I know I'm not the only one hating karplus. I wish I just sold my Infiniti and bought a new car instead of a used car that has maintenance issues, I'm sure they were happy to get rid of this car. This is my experience with them. read more
