Unfortunately, that wouldn't work with my schedule so I had to reschedule. Then the woman who came the second time showed up an hour late. She said she had been outside the building but didn't have my cell number to call me and had to wait for someone to come out. This was unfortunate because I left instructions that I don't have a call box and that my cell needed to be called to let the cleaner in. Once someone was finally in the apartment, they did a great job.

I used this…read moreservice twice and had a great experience, but now months later, they no-showed twice and are not responding to my emails inquiring about the refund they were supposed to issue weeks ago. PREVIOUS POST (before they no-showed a second time and failed to issue the refund they promised) I've used this service 3 times now. They do a great job and bring their own cleaning supplies. There was a tech issue with my third appointment, and the customer service in rectifying it was incredible, they offered to refund and also set up a follow up cleaning appointment. And i was absolutely disappointed with their level of work. Three people showed up 20 minutes past the appointed time and when asked how long it would take to clean up (two bed/two baths), they told me hour and a half was sufficient. From the beginning I thought it was strange that they only needed hour and a half. I have a four months-old baby so I vacated my apartment in order for them to work freely. When I came back home after about an hour, they were already hurrying to leave. Indeed I figured I was right as soon as they left after only 70 minutes of disappointing work. Here are a list of my complaints: 1. Before I left my place, I saw them dusting out a blind next to my bed without opening the window. I asked them to begin cleaning with all the windows open. 2. I asked them to clean a mat in baby's room and vacuum the room. But when I came back home there were dusts all over a toy laying on the mat. I believe they didn't even bother to remove the mat while cleaning. 3. They emptied all the trash cans but didn't bother to put plastic bags so I had to refill on each of them. 4. A stand had dust all over it as it did before cleaning. 5. Photo frames were dirty even after they wiped them. 6. Cabinets in the bathrooms was left full of dust (probably didn't even wiped them). 7. Kitchen walls still had dirty spots. 8. Cabinets in the kitchen left full of dust and stains. 9. Kitchen sink left with stains. 10. Stove left uncleaned and left with grease. 11. I mentioned to have dishwasher cleaned but left with spots of stains. 12. And finally the odor of whatever cleaning products was awful. They told me that their schedule was packed on the day I asked so they might not be able to schedule to come in. Then they called me back saying it was fine and set me an appointment. If they were going to be short in time and work half-heartedly I don't understand why they scheduled me in the first place. I feel like I paid them just to vacuum. I cannot say how much I was disappointed with their unprofessional work. I will never hire them again nor will I recommend to anyone else. The price was not even cheaper than most other companies. I would pay much more to hire a crew who are more responsible and professional about their business.

Their prices are a bit steep compared to what my boyfriend was used to with cleaners in his old home, but in my opinion, it is worth it. I'm super picky about cleaning my house and thought the cleaners my boyfriend had at his old place didn't do as thorough of a job as I would have liked. But unfortunately, in our bigger home and with all of our work responsibilities, we just didn't have the time to do a full house cleaning as often as we would like. So I found Rosie Cleans (I actually found them a year ago when I was in Summit but we were out of their zone). So far, I've been happy with Rosie Cleans. The manager, Cecilia, is very open in communication, letting us know when something comes up that needs to be rescheduled, checking in to clarify instructions, following up post cleaning, etc. She also was able to squeeze us in for our initial cleaning when online it had looked like there was no availability for months. In terms of cleaning, the ladies who handle our home seem pretty thorough so far. They take everything off the tables and countertops to clean (versus lazily dusting or wiping around things) and I've seen them actually on the stairs cleaning between the railing balusters. This past week, my mom was in town and even she was impressed. Finally, I also really like their online scheduling system. So far it has been pretty easy to add and remove certain items for individual cleanings which is something we're definitely going to be taking advantage of going forward.

What aggravated us were the excuses as to why some of the work was not done properly. Due to that, we have decided to write a review and share our experience. We made a mistake even giving $100 tip. 1. We had to finish their work in the end of the day. The bathroom on our first floor was not cleaned properly. Ivan was in charge of it. The bathroom on our second floor was cleaned by a lady (we do not know her name) who did a better job. There were other clients online that had a same issue with the service provided by Ivan. 2. They are not equipped to clean a garage, yet they accepted it. Of course, then, we had the expectation that they would do a good job. Since it's been accepted, they might as well do it right. Again, Ivan was the one working on the garage. The equipment were not too difficult to clean. Ivan left the shelves and our equipment so dusty, especially the floors (and manager's comment is that they do not clean unfinished floors). Then again, why accepted it if he would not clean the floor. Please see the photos. 3. They arrived late, which support the other negative reviews online. The agreement was 11am. They arrived after 12pm. We had plans that we had to delay. We were notified at 10:29am, only half an hour before the agreed arrival. However, this is not a huge deal to us. But just want to give everyone a heads up that there is a large chance you need to wait. 4. Ivan's "walkthrough" was rushed. We understood that it was late in the afternoon, but the time of the day should not affect the service. I pointed out to him the bathroom on 1st floor, but we felt it was ignored. He was on a rush. Also, it could be a language barrier since he had a difficult time communicating in English. We pointed out the shelves with dusts (please see the photos), and same reaction of not wanting to do it. 5. The manager offered that they would return and clean the untouched areas. It's late in the afternoon, and we had to leave the house. I do not think it is fair to us to wait again. In addition to that, it is not acceptable to send the same staff (Ivan) who did not do a good job. If she offered to send the lady who did a better job, we would have considered. But she kept insisting to send Ivan back, along with the other lady - even we emphasized that we do not want him to return. Please see the photos. I would not recommend their service. We thought we would have a great first impression, however we did not. We are trying to find a good cleaning company since we are new in the area and just recently moved from a different county. Also most especially, we need a consistent one because we are buying another house. We wanted a professional service. Unfortunately, we are disappointed. Update and response to the manager: 1. It is NOT true we are satisfied. Clearly based on our review, we are extremely disappointed. 2. There are no "agreements" discussed prior to the cleaning. They left our curtains, window boarders, mirror behind the bathroom door, master's bedroom side table, toilet bowl of 1st floor bathroom, shelves and multiple areas untouched. 3. There are three residents in the house who witnessed the poor service. Therefore, they have the right to submit their reviews, regardless of the number of point of contacts. 4. Regarding the manager's comment about responding to her prior writing the reviews - we have had multiple conversations via text. Yet, the manager is not listening to our feedback and preference. As mentioned, she kept insisting to send the staff who did a poor job. She should send a different one. She did not grant our request.
