My roommate and I were looking for a new cleaning service for our apartment and I came across Sparkle on Yelp. The reviews are right! This is a fantastic company- great customer service (thanks, Dumisile!) and a great cleaning. We'll definitely be using their services more regularly! :) read more

I hired Sparkle Home Services to deep clean my new apartment before moving in, and they did a fantastic job. Dumisile was very responsive throughout the process of schexuling and quoting the job, and the cleaners that they sent arrived on time and did an excellent job. The price was very fair for the service provided. I'm looking forward to hiring them again. read more

Dumisile has been cleaning my home for several months, and I feel super lucky to have found her. Her cleaning is very professional, and she has taught me a lot about specific products and practices. She and her staff are very efficient and worth every penny. When they are done, my home feels squeaky clean, and I'm pretty picky about housecleaning. Communication is always easy and nice. read more

I used them for a deep cleaning and I was so happy with my service. Patricia was on time, sweet and gave me Great service. I highly recommend and will be calling them back. read more

I am so incredibly pleased with the service I received today. Dumisile was very responsive when I requested a quote on yelp and had excellent communication in setting up my appointment. Though I consider myself to be pretty clean to begin with, I travel a lot for work and my apartment felt like it had just been collecting dust in my absence. I explained that wanted everything wiped down and she was super conscious about dusting every nook and cranny (i have lots of little knick knacks around my apartment). She went above and beyond what I requested and her attention to detail was unparalleled. I ran out to do a few errands and when I came back I could smell and feel how squeaky clean my place is! I am so appreciative that she fully understood my concerns and that I didn't have to worry about micromanaging -- she just did her thing and she truly does a really good job. After trying multiple cleaning companies in the area and always being disappointed (or having to still clean after my cleaning person left -- which is the worst!) I have finally found my go to company. The pricing is extremely fair and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment knowing that it's going to be 5 stars. Thank you Dumisile you made my day! read more

Sparkle Home Services - not a single streak on any of my stainless steal appliances! - Office Cleaning Near Me

I booked an appointment with them for a cleaning for my apartment. At first, they said they can give me a Thursday time but later because they thought the job was too small (2 hours for $60) that they want to hold off until the weekend. We booked a 1-1:30PM time for Saturday and exchanged information. On Saturday, I waited for the cleaner until 2:55PM when they are still a no show. I messaged them through text, call and Yelp and every time they said the cleaner is almost here. Finally I decided to cancel the appt as it is taking way too long when we have plans scheduled around the time they gave us. This was a total waste of time and I won't be using this service again. read more

Communication was great, and cleaners were on time, efficient, and did a thorough job. Overall very pleased with the services!

Not only did Spark Home Services do an amazing job cleaning they also helped organize and tidy up the apartment. I can tell Dumicile, (the owner), truly cares about her clients in delivering the best service and makes sure they are beyond satisfied by following up even after the job was complete. Besides from the professionalism, Dumicile and her team's meticulous attention to detail was what earned my trust and loyalty, and everyone that I have referred to her. I can't say this about many cleaning services! read more

Judy came to clean my 3 bedroom/1 bath kitchen/living room apartment in Brooklyn. She deep cleaned the kitchen, living and bathroom and lightly cleaned our bedrooms. Overall I think she did a great/good (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). The only thing I wish I had communicated was for her to scrub down the shower walls. Other than that, we were very happy with the clean. Great value for what we paid for. Even though our apartment was small, a deep clean takes time and was tedious. Looking forward to setting up reoccurring cleans with Dumisile and seeing how she does. Will update review when that happens :) read more

I don't know yall.. I see all the great reviews, but I just called this place to see if they had short notice availability to clean my apartment and before she even asked my name or even what date I was looking for (!), the lady cut me off and said that she doesn't have anyone available....ummm, not impressed, at all! That was such a poor example of customer service, I actually laughed. read more

We've tried two other NYC based cleaning services in the past and just weren't happy with the results. I contacted Sparkle Home Services and spoke directly with Dumi, she scheduled with me quickly (got me a weekend appointment no less) and provided an accurate and fair quote. We couldn't be happier with the cleaning. We have two pugs and it's challenging to keep up with their shedding, Dumi and Ana had the place spotless. She brought some of her own supplies and we discussed other things I could get to make the cleaning more efficient in the future (had discussed setting up biweekly appointments if we were happy). The apartment looks amazing, Dumi and her staff are detail oriented and think of every last little thing. This cleaning is bounds better than any past services! Our home has never been this clean, our doors and cabinets were wiped down, floors cleaned multiple ways (mop, rag, swiffer) to ensure all dust was up, she moved all of our knick knacks and such to clean etc. And it smells great! We will definitely be setting up biweekly cleanings. PS they were super nice to our dogs which is always a nice plus. read more

Really impressed with the team from Sparkle, they went above and beyond with my apartment - even cleaning my fridge and freezer which were both badly in need of it. Will definitely use them again, they were affordable and easy to get an appointment with. Thank you! read more

This is the best cleaning service I've ever had. I'd used another, wizardly, cleaning service before but Dumi and Anna blew them out of the water. I thought i was living pretty clean, but I'm in total awe of what clean actually looks and feels like. They got rid of the pet smell in our apartment and were super friendly with our dogs. Dumi and Anna were so polite and courteous and trustworthy and nice in general and I'd be comfortable giving them keys to my place because they're so professional and do such a great job. I'm not a trusting person, sometimes I keep the chain bolted when my pizza comes and make them turn the pizza box sideways to get to me even though it messes up my toppings, but I'd do it for this company Bottom line: they're great. read more

Sabina and Judy came by to clean our apartment yesterday on very short notice (after a very easy and friendly conversation with Dumisile via Yelp) and did an absolutely amazing job with our place, exceeding our expectations and then some. They not only cleaned every nook and cranny of our apartment (including the cabinets, fridge, and stove), but they also went ahead and organized the area under the sink AND our front entrance area for us, which has often been a place of neglect -- we were not expecting that, and it was very awesome that they did it. We'll definitely be hiring your service again when we need some help with cleaning, and will recommend it to anyone who ever needs a cleaner. Thank you again!! read more

Angeline and her team do a top notch job!! She is a pleasure to have in the house and she always goes the extra mile without me asking. Angeline chooses a special project to focus on almost every time she cleans our home and truly cares about my family. Professional and always pleasant, Angeline is a delight to have in our home every week. I always look forward to cleaning day and she never disappoints! read more

Angeline's been cleaning my apartment for years now and I just love her! She is friendly and always on top of her cleaning game. She will bring some of her own supplies, but if you have anything you want her to use, she will use it too. She always does a through job at an affordable price too, would recommend her to anyone! read more

The company's response to my review shows how disorganized and sloppy they are, along with the numerous false statements they make. By the way, they posted this response in retaliation after begging me to take this review down. Unprofessional and not worth the hassle, as I originally stated. They made my point for me. read more

So I keep seeing those Handy ads on the subway and decided to try it out. I did it a couple of times and they turned out just okay. A friend recommended I contact Dumi because she said and I quote, "if you need a housekeeper, I have a good one. Super clean! Like, REAL clean. I'm sure you will like her. Very good work ethics." So after one so-so and one terrible Handy experience, I decided to contact Dumi. She was GREAT! Trust me when I say that she will not leave your house until it is clean. It was incredible. The first thing I did when I got home was run my fingers on all surfaces to check for dust. Nothing! My apartment was spotless! Give them a call! You will NOT regret it! read more

Dumiselle and her team are great. They were on time and the place literally sparkled! I would definitely use them again.

Did a FANTASTIC job! My roommate and I had a last min request and the turn around was absolutely impeccable. They saved our lives...and cleaned the heck out of our place (I mean dust, crumbs and clothes were everywhere)! I highly recommend Sparkle! read more

Dolly has been coming to clean my house for about a month now and she has surpassed any expectation I had for a house cleaner. I couldn't believe what my house looked like after she cleaned and organized it - it feels like this is how it should have been all along and it's given me such peace of mind. She is also extremely sweet and great to chat with while she works her magic on my house. Dealing with payment and scheduling is also extremely easy and the price is SO reasonable. I can't recommend Sparkle and Dolly enough. read more

Had a great experience, got a quote, set an appt date and time. The young lady who came was very sweet and polite. She did a great job on the bathroom and kitchen. She had a lot to do, it wasn't in good condition and she was very nice about it and did a great job. She didn't neglect anything and really tried to take her time without taking too long. Very happy will use this service again! read more

I have nothing but praises for Sparkle Home Services. Dumisile is very thorough and brings our house to a whole other level of clean. She is discrete and kind and her quality of service consistently amazes us. Try once and you will never go back! read more

We had had the same housekeeper for over 5 years. In the beginning she was great, but eventually, she seemed to stop caring about the results. So, I began to look around. After the first woman I found, who didn't even wipe crumbs off counter (and charged 3 hours for 2 hours work) I hoped the next person wouldn't be a disaster. SO, I texted Sparkle (Dumisile Kheswa) and she set us up with Kathy. That day, we were texted in advance that Kathy was running 30 minutes late and we appreciated the heads up. Kathy was awesome. We generally discussed the scope of the work, and she told me it could be longer than the original estimated hours and that was fine with me, i wanted to see her initiative on what to clean. I told her she could decide what she wanted to do. (I hoped to be impressed by her doing the extras, and she did) I said to take as long as she needed and she was conscientious about working the whole time and still being super sweet with my son (who took to her). The place is cleaner than it has ever been. Our year old kitchen had a lot of dirt I had never even discovered. Cathy took the burners apart (not just off, but apart!). She cleaned the front of the cabinets (there was some residue but I think I should have given her a different towel for that). She managed to get the "duvet cover from hell" on to the duvet in record time. She realized that I'd want the pillow cases that matched and that tells me she is thinking about her results. She did all of the areas we had discussed. We are going to use Sparkle again and hopefully, if the work stays awesome, we will have found a long-term arrangement. Also, Sparkle accepts venmo. read more

Fantastic service! On time, professional and hard working. My apartment has never looked so clean, highly recommend.

I'm so glad I found sparkle. I just had meniscus surgery and didn't plan very well. My apartment was a mess. I was tripping and falling over junk lying around on the floor. I called and THE NEXT MORNING sparkle sent two lovely people to come and organize my apartment. Then they cleaned it, which was wonderful because now it's a pleasure to be in--as well as now being safe with my crutches. Oh, and did I mention they did my laundry? All in a very short time. They were really nice and pleasant to work with. I'm so glad I called them. And I'll call them again. Even if I'm not having surgery! read more

This service is simply spectacular! I called Dumi asking if she would be able to help out with a fairly big cleaning/organization project. I've been working so much, and out of my apartment so frequently the last few weeks that my room became somewhat of a nightmare. I haven't been able to set aside the time for a total reorganization/deep clean, so I decided to see what Yelp had to offer in terms of cleaning services. Dumi and her team already had outstanding reviews, so I felt confident their business was the right way to go. But this experience far exceeded my expectations. My room isn't just clean, it is spotless. Everything is perfectly organized, including my closet!! I have way too much stuff for my tiny NYC apartment but she miraculously found a place that made sense for everything. She was courteous and quick--I can't believe how much she accomplished in just a few short hours. I am so grateful for Dumi's help, and will be calling her back in for whatever cleaning needs I have in the future. My room looks, smells, and just feels so much better than I ever realized it could. Thanks Dumi!! read more

Kaily transformed our apartment!! It is so stinkin clean and organized in here, I've never seen it so clean. And the kitchen looks immaculate. Thank you so much Dumisile and Kaily! read more

I have been using this service for a few months now in the UES after failing with several other companies, and have nothing but amazing things to say about it! I originally spoke with Seli, who worked out a time that was convenient for me to come and clean. She brought along Ina, since she was going to be the person cleaning the apartment on a regular basis. Rather than just sending Ina the first time, Seli (one of the owners) came with her to make sure everything went smoothly. Now, Ina is coming to my apartment biweekly and doing an amazing job! She is very sweet and goes above and beyond what any other service I've tried does. The price is very reasonable as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this service!!! read more
