The TL;DR is that the information she provided was horribly misguided and showed her lack of knowledge in weight loss issues with someone who is in their 50s struggling to lose weight. She was also incredibly rude and condescending. During our first meeting, she spent a ridiculous amount of time reviewing a confusing chart that she had difficulty explaining when she could have bottom-lined it in a few minutes. That left only a short amount of time to discuss calorie/macro goals, so we had to schedule a second apt. since we only had time to discuss breakfast. She REALLY needs coaching on time management, to not be able to discuss essential items like a food plan in an initial meeting is unacceptable. During the second apt, she sent me the zoom link after our starting time -- which is extremely frustrating since there were technical issues. I usually sign in a few minutes early when I have a link to work through any issues. I wanted to get straight to the calorie/macro information. She wasn't at all prepared for the meeting and asked if I was the wrong height and weight and then said, "oh, that's someone else" After giving her the correct weight and answering other questions, she took several minutes to calculate a calorie goal -- I could have done this by Googling a similar chart. My goal with working with a dietitian is to have someone with enough knowledge to put context and details around this information. She gave me ridiculous numbers for maintenance and weight loss calories. I had an overall idea of how much I should be eating due to going to a weight loss spa and losing 35 lbs based on the plan they gave me. When I told her this, instead of asking insightful questions, she was completely condescending, TELLING me that the calorie range I stated could lead to muscle loss and that there are more important things than just the numbers on the scale. Well, for me, right now the number on the scale IS the most important thing, I'd like to get 20-30 libs off and then I can start thinking about incorporating a muscle building plan -- She was soooo disrespectful of my goals. She's a bit cocky for someone with only a year out of school under her I'm so disappointed since I've had a great experience with Dr. Dever a chiropractor and with Dr. Toth - an integrative dr. I've been an Aligned customer for 15+ years and this is my first bad experience. Mikaela gives Aligned a bad name.

Do lab work elsewhere- my blood sample was mishandled therefore the results of my test were false....and sent me to the ER. I started going to aligned in August 2023. They test and prescribe you supplements based on the results. I saw results due to the dietary changes (low fodmap) but my symptoms came right back once I resumed a normal healthy diet, which tells me the supplements I was sold didn't help. The diagnosis and explanations felt a bit rushed and the nutritionist was a waste of time. I didn't get any improvement or new knowledge from my 6 months as a patient here. I had my bloodwork done through aligned in January to check my progress. They called me in the middle of the night and told me to go to the ER based on the results. Turns out the sample was tainted and I incurred $2k in medical bills as a result, which Aligned refused to take responsibility for.

Prior to this, I had never gone to a chiropractor, and now my monthly adjustment is a life necessity. Whether you think you need it or not, you will walk out feeling better aligned (and taller). This will make daily life, sleeping, and workouts more comfortable. The best part is, it will only take a few minutes, so you can easily fit this into a busy schedule. Beyond adjustments, Sarah is helpful and has provided good referrals for other doctors and services the I've wanted more information about for other health concerns. Furthermore, the office is pet friendly! You can bring your dog and there are treats :)

My boyfriend even called them the moment I got sick to give them as much notice as possible, yet they still refused to waive a $45 cancellation fee. It's absurd to penalize a patient for a sudden medical emergency. Apparently, they would have preferred I showed up mid-illness and thrown up on the doctor instead of staying home. They clearly value a one-time $45 fee over long-term patient loyalty. They've officially lost a customer for good. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and suggest others do the same if they want a provider that actually treats people like human beings

She has a warm and welcoming personality and patiently answered all of my questions. While I didn't have any major complaints or discomfort at the time of my visit, I shared the things "wrong with me" per a chiropractor I met with previously. (Left leg shorter than right, C1 or 2 out of alignment). Dr. Christine (and Two Hands) takes a holistic approach to treatment, which I appreciate. I absolutely loved the soft tissue massage/ manipulation to work with the muscles in concert with the joints. She did some work on my ribs (under the scapula), one or two other areas along the spine, and hips. And my right foot, which I broke a few years back. (I didn't even know it was possible to have more mobility on the outer top/side of the foot!) The whole process was really interesting to me. Christine also told me about an exercise I can do for my hip flexors, that I hadn't heard of before. I absolutely recommend Dr. Christine to anyone looking for a chiropractor!

I have never been to a chiropractor but have always suffered from knee and lower back pain and decided to just give it a shot. I looked forward to every appointment and really enjoyed getting to know them. If you're looking for anything, even just a quick 30 min massage, I recommend this place 100%!

Aligned Modern Health is great. I've been to two locations, met with 3 of their chiropractors, and…read morea half-dozen therapists and support staff during my long recovery from an office job. Too much time sitting at a desk book-ended by active living created a debilitating condition in my lower back. While I did pair AMH's treatment with that of a pain management doctor, I believe AMH's ongoing therapy has been what helped me prevent a re-occurrence of issues and continue to my active lifestyle. Starting treatment, AMH was incredibly thorough. They took the time to understand what symptoms I suffered from, developed, and eventually revised both therapy and alignment plans to suit my progress through recovery. After finishing primary treatment with them and my PM doctor, AMH was able to put me on a management plan that was affordable and allowed me to work with them to manage my lower back, leg, and hand issues as my body continues to age and my profession continued to change. While Aligned cannot magically fix your ailments, if you're willing to put in the homework for physical therapy and frankly discuss your progress with the therapists and chiropractors, they can keep coaching you towards a healthier and better feeling body. On top of that, everyone that works there is cool and super friendly.

The chiropractors all really take their time with you and do soft tissue work as well. I've tried Evan, Jodi, and Neena and consistently see Neena every week. Neena does an amazing job every time and she is also just so fun to see/talk with. She takes an interest in what's going on with my body each week and I feel so much better after her adjustments. I also see Mary Thate for massages each week--she will beat you up and you will definitely be sore after the first visit or two, but she also really knows her stuff and does a great job. I recently started doing PT with Luis Sanchez for general maintenance (no specific injuries) and I can already feel myself getting better muscle balance, improved posture, and improvements in my mind/muscle connection for weaker muscles like lat engagement and wrist stability. I came in skeptical about chiropractic care, but Dr. Neena completely changed my mindset. From my very first visit nearly 2 years ago, she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident in the process. Not only has she helped me feel so much better physically, but her approach to care has turned me into a repeat customer and now, my husband sees her too! The combination of chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, (and even an X-ray service when I had a tailbone injury!!) that she has performed has been a game-changer for us. The entire team is top-notch, the office is well-run, and the care they provide is next level. If you've ever been on the fence about chiropractic care, go see Dr. Neena! She's truly one of the best in the business, and I can't recommend her enough.

I have since finished with my Groupon sessions and am intending on returning to see Dr. Norini on a regular basis. She is very knowledgeable and extremely kind and helpful. Before each session, she will sit and talk with you about your physical/emotional concerns, will recommend a course of action, and will take time to explain everything to you. It is so refreshing to meet with a doctor who is invested in your personal well being, and takes the time to check in with you and discuss matters with you. She has a very calm demeanor, and I have never felt rushed if I come in with a long list of concerns and questions. Personally, she has helped me with my high stress levels, back pain, hormonal imbalances, chronic digestive problems, and overall well-being. I have seen quicker results in 6 visits with her than I have over the years when I've brought these concerns to therapists, psychiatrists, ob/gyns, and gastroenterologists combined. I feel great. Dr. Norini has a very practical and holistic approach in her practice. She blends Eastern and Western medical practices to suit your needs. She is very objective, and if she feels that your concerns may be better treated with seeing a medical specialist or seeing a general practitioner associated with a hospital elsewhere, she will tell you that. In my particular experience, she has recommended that I get certain blood work done elsewhere so that she can better assess my physical concerns. I am currently a student and in-between jobs, as well as without health insurance, and Dr Norini has been very helpful in offering different types of affordable payment plans for people in my situation. It has been a struggle for me to find reasonable payment plans (even with doctors I have seen for over a decade) without insurance, and Dr Norini offers plans that are affordable for everyone. Each session with her could easily cost $100+, and I am so thankful that she finds a way to make her quality healthcare services affordable. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Norini at Whole Body Health and Wellness. She's great!
