Quality care with results. They did not push herbal options and focus on the practice of acupuncture. Scheduling system is easy.

So far (I'm new) I've had a terrific experience. I felt tremendous relief from the acupuncture and cupping.

Dr. Courtney is amazing and I would recommend anyone in need of acupuncture to visit. I even converted my elderly mom to try this.

I first went in at a time where I was in chronic back pain and just at an overall low point in my mental and physical health. I truly felt at rock bottom. I scheduled an appointment with Ashley and was so amazed at the entire experience from day 1. From the initial check in at the front desk to meeting Ashley, it just felt like such a safe, welcoming space. With leas than 6 months of weekly treatment, my life was changed for the better. From needles, to cups, to Ashley's wonderful approach and listening, it been a complete 180 from my first visit. The treatments have been so healing. I am forever grateful and thankful for Ashley and Five Points. Truly a wonderful place to go. Since they've been in their new space, I have only seen the expansion of all the wonderful, healing potential of this amazing practice, their care, and their offerings. I do not hesitate to refer friends and family to Ashley and Five Points.

Angie and Justin have changed my life…read more I've been going to Acupuncture for Balanced Wellness for years, and I can't imagine where I would be without this team. My preference is to do chiro before acupuncture, and the office is always willing to do what they can from a scheduling perspective to accommodate my request, which brings us to our first stop, Justin! Embarrassing for me, but I've cried a few times in Justin's face because of aches and pains. Justin always takes his time to listen to my physical woes, and he goes to work to get 'em out. He uses a variety of methods from heat to stim to good 'ol chiropractic adjustments- all with a smile. I definitely feel loosey-goosey and ready to get poked, which brings me to my second stop....Angie! No matter the challenge I bring into the acupuncture room, Angie is ready to meet it. Angie also uses a variety of techniques from different laying positions to stim to heat lamps. PS Angie- where can I get one of those heat lamps for my house?? I don't think there's ever been one acupuncture session where I haven't gone into a fully meditative state. The hour long session feels like it's 5 minutes, and I always wake up feeling fully refreshed. We usually end our sessions with cupping, which has been a game changer in my physical healing journey. I genuinely don't know where I would be without these two. Every time I'm in this office I reflect on how grateful I am to have this tremendous duo in my corner. If I skip a week, I can absolutely tell a difference in my body. Suffice it to say, Angie and Justin won't be getting rid of me any time soon! Angie, Justin, thank you infinitely. You both are blessings!

They were good back in the day, but as of now, Dr. Hubert would rather be golfing, and Dr. Mei Ling has lost so much of her hearing, that she should really be wearing hearing aids. Yes, she refuses to, while often treating 3 or 4 people simultaneoulsy. Dr. Hubert is one of the worst chiropractors I have ever seen. While he is quite good at acupuncture, he is an unethical, and unsafe chiropractic doctor, and should have his license revoked. In January of this year, I was in a hit and run; my lower back and neck were badly injured. I went to him for chiro and acu two weeks after the crash. After the second treatment he gave me, he called out at me from behind when I was walking towards the front door to leave that I had to "get that target off my back". Ummm, whaat??? That should have been a warning to not go back and see him again, but I was too injured to have the energy to get into treatment with a new doctor. Big mistake. A few weeks after this rude statement, he decided to give me a really aggressive and inappropriate adjustment, since he is such a bad chiropractor, in the attempt to get my lower back to "move". He abruptly pushed both knees, simultaneously, up into my chest several times, and the next two days I was in so much pain I could barely get out of bed. I have seen many chiropractors, and have never received this kind of "adjustment". His mother, Dr. Me Ling, is also a piece of work. I saw her once in 2018 after having my elbow crushed by a bicyclist; after the surgery to install 3 steel plates into my elbo, I developed a rare disease called CRPS, or chronic regional pain syndrome, which she didnt want to hear about during the intake. I am sure that in her hey day, she was a great acupuncturist, but now is she a very elderly lady who is losing her hearing, and her compassion, and who refuses to wear hearing aids. She straight out told me to not say that I have CRPS when she decide to intensely bend my elbow back and forth, and I cried out that it hurt and to be careful because of my condition. The nickname for CRPS is "the suicide disease", but apparently she thought I was making it up. In fact, it makes normal pain seems 10 to 100 times worse, on any account, but apparently in her clinic, it just isnt a real thing. My elbow did in fact feel much better the next day after her needle treatment, but I felt I never wanted to see her again per her rude and unkind behaviour. I decided to give Dr. Me Ling a second try in 2021, hoping that maybe she would be nicer, because I could tell that she was a great acupuncturist the first time I met her. Unfortunately I dont think she should still be in practice. After she put the needles in me, when I saw her the second time in early 2021, I started to have a bad reaction. I tried to endure it and see if it would get better, but also called out to her to come help. I called out to her 4 times. She failed to come and help me. Finally I had to awkwardly get up off the table, and take the needles out myself. It was such a horrible experience. Her son, Dr. Hubert, told me shortly after that about how she refuses to wear hearing aids. I feel that this clinic should be reported. They have been in practice for a very long time, and clearly have better things to do, since being kind and attentive and courteous to their patients isn't one of them.
