My preference is to do chiro before acupuncture, and the office is always willing to do what they can from a scheduling perspective to accommodate my request, which brings us to our first stop, Justin! Embarrassing for me, but I've cried a few times in Justin's face because of aches and pains. Justin always takes his time to listen to my physical woes, and he goes to work to get 'em out. He uses a variety of methods from heat to stim to good 'ol chiropractic adjustments- all with a smile. I definitely feel loosey-goosey and ready to get poked, which brings me to my second stop....Angie! No matter the challenge I bring into the acupuncture room, Angie is ready to meet it. Angie also uses a variety of techniques from different laying positions to stim to heat lamps. PS Angie- where can I get one of those heat lamps for my house?? I don't think there's ever been one acupuncture session where I haven't gone into a fully meditative state. The hour long session feels like it's 5 minutes, and I always wake up feeling fully refreshed. We usually end our sessions with cupping, which has been a game changer in my physical healing journey. I genuinely don't know where I would be without these two. Every time I'm in this office I reflect on how grateful I am to have this tremendous duo in my corner. If I skip a week, I can absolutely tell a difference in my body. Suffice it to say, Angie and Justin won't be getting rid of me any time soon! Angie, Justin, thank you infinitely. You both are blessings!

I have been to so many highly acclaimed spas in Chicago and all over the world in a search for someone to help alleviate my chronic symptoms. And while I am grateful for those therapists who spent their time and effort working on me, I found myself left in a perpetual state of pain and discomfort. SARA on the other hand is worth a million dollars. Her passion for healing and relieving muscle tension, aches and pain is truly priceless. She is the type of therapist who can "read" your needs; it is quite apparent that she understands the anatomical structure and normal physiology of the human body. The way she manipulates the muscles and the tendons is truly therapeutic. She is not merely just rubbing or kneading aimlessly, yet instead investigating, interacting and tirelessly working toward releasing contracted muscles, lengthening tight ones, increasing circulation to problem spots, stretching you, and all but begging your body to relax. She is amazing for me. I won't go to anyone else! Note: I'd be remiss if I did not also mention that aside from her pure skillfulness, she is truly a pleasure to be around as Sara is extremely professional, friendly, courteous and incredibly dedicated to her patients/clients. I just got a treatment from Barb yesterday and it was the best acupuncture session I'd ever had…read more I went in for digestive problems, anxiety and pain in my ankle which I broke a few years ago and now has three stabilizing pins---I basically have no cartilage in my right ankle and it gets aggravated when it's rainy and/or cold outside. I was amazed at Barb's accuracy. After I told her my problems and got on the table, she put pressure on the spots where she intended to put the needles and these spots were the really super tender spots on my body! She then proceeded with the treatment and very soon I was totally and completely "chillaxed" as she likes to say. The entire time she explained to me what she was doing and why and then after all the pins were in place she put this awesome heat lamp that doesn't glow, just gets warm, over my stomach, dimmed the lights and left me alone to just zone out. I immediately felt a very calm sensation and much of the pain in my ankle began to dissapate. I felt totally chillaxed all day and I've already noticed positive changes in my digestion.
