I can't tell you how thankful I am to have found Karco!! The staff are very honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional and affordable!! I 100% trust my car in their hands. They know cats well and work as a team to get the work done is a timely manner. There's no waiting around all day or trying to reach someone, they call promptly and give all details in a way I can understand. I highly recommend them to anyone with a Toyota, Lexus, etc. Thanks guys at Karco!! read more

Very honest shop, we were very impressed and relieved. They diagnosed the problem, communicated the information to us and didn't try to sell us on anything else that "needed" to be fixed. There were a few things that would "need attention in the future" and the notified us of it but that was it. Up to us what we wanted to do with the information. We've taken the car there a few times now and haven't regretted it. read more

This shop is great. Car in and out on time. Explain process well. And do not suggest services unless necessary. My neighbor referred me and she's been a customer for over 20 years. read more

Karco has serviced all of my vehicles since 1984. The work they do is impeccable. They go above and beyond in customer service. Dick, Jay and team make sure your car is clean inside and out when it is ready for you to drive out of the shop. They only use Toyota and Honda certified parts and back everything they do. I moved to No. CA for a couple years and continued to drive 400 - 500 miles to have Karco maintain the major services on my Celica GTS. I highly recommend Karco. I am fairly certain if you give them a try you will never want to have your Toyota serviced anywhere else. Thank you Dick and Jay. You are GREATLY missed now that I am too far away to get my car there. I can not find anywhere that provides even half the service. read more

We have been going to Karco for over 25 years. I have so much trust in the work they do! I know that I can trust what they say. I am not local anymore and I tried another company and was told what needed done to my car. I had a bad feeling so I took it to Karco and they told me I didn't need some of the stuff done. Needless to say we make the drive so that it can be repaired by the best company! read more

I'm typically a DIY car mechanic but a recent injury and a pending Smog Check on one of my cars meant I couldn't make the repairs it needed in order to pass smog myself so on the recommendation of a friend I brought my car here. They diagnosed it quickly, had the parts the same day and had it back to me the next day. The repairs they made seem to be working great and Jay even made recommendations to keep the part they replaced from failing in the future. Bonus that they offer a shuttle service and will both take you from the repair shop and pick you up when your car is done. Their prices seem a little high, however the work they did was top-notch. Bonus that they don't bat an eye at working on older vehicles. I'll be back again! read more

We've been going to Karco for a long time---started going to them around 1993 and have never regretted the decision. Yeah, we're limited to Honda/Acura or Toyota/Lexus cars, but that's not a big deal...we'd rather get outstanding service and repairs than have to deal with other repair shops. The guys at Karco are honest, have very fair prices and keep our cars running perfectly. read more

I have been taking my cars to Karco for many years for service. I have always received top notched quality service. The staff is amazing answering all your questions for any needed service. I have recommended Karco to my family memebers with excellent feedback. Karco thank you for being my go to specialist for Toyota and Lexus automotive care. read more

I've been going to Karco almost 20 years. They are honest, friendly, and the work is always right the first time. I only buy Honda/Acura or Toyota/Lexus to ensure I won't have to worry about my long term auto care. read more

Finally an honest, reliable auto repair facility. When is the last time you went to a mechanic with concerns about your brakes, asking for new brakes, and the mechanic said, "you've got another 30% remaining, so maybe we check again in six months?" A friend referred me to Karco almost 10 years ago & I've been taking my Tundra there ever since. Direct, honest, never feeling pressure to do any work other than what's in the best interest of the life of my truck. I trust them and recommend their service to anyone looking for service for their vehicle! read more

As a young woman who doesn't know much about cars, auto repair shops always scare me. Coming here completely put me at ease! The owner Dick always makes sure I leave happy and confident with the work done on my car and at a fraction of the cost it would take to go elsewhere. THANK YOU for always taking good care of me !! I am no longer afraid of taking my car in, and I know I won't be going anywhere else. read more

We have been going to Karco for many years. It's so important to find a shop that is knowledgeable and reasonable but most importantly one that we trust, and Karco is all those things to us! Owen read more

KARCO is simply the best vehicle repair company in the county. They offer so much more than vehicle repairs. For example, we bought a new Honda but couldn't figure out some of the new technology. Dick introduced us to two young technicians who showed us how to operate several of the vehicle functions on the audio/information screen. They saved us so much time trying to figure out everything from the Owner's Guide. Thanks again KARCO! read more

We've saved thousands of dollars over the years going to Karco. 2 Toyotas in our household. I can write a bunch of different ways they've saved us money but the bottom line is that I TRUST them, and they are upfront and HONEST. Sure, per service, they cost a little more than the stealership. But they'll never upsell you or make you do/buy things you don't need. read more

I took my Prius here after a friend recommended Jay and his crew to me and said that he would not go anywhere else with any of his vehicles. The service was top notch, fast and professional, not to mention the price was incredibly reasonable. In addition, they were extremely good about making sure everything was wiped down as part of their Covid-19 protocols. I will continue to go back here from now on! read more

Excellent, professional, knowledgeable, honest and educational. I have been coming here for years, they are very consistent. Edited to add they always answer the phone during business hours too. read more

We bought our Toyota Tundra from them and that in itself was a great experience. We took it there to be checked out and serviced before we move out of state. Such peace of mind knowing it's in the hands of honest and good mechanics. The shuttle was great, too! Thank you!! read more

I've been going to Karco for yrs (over 6yrs). I usually go to the dealer for an oil change bc every other is free. The dealer notified me that I needed motor mounts so I called Karco. The guy to answered the phone would not give me a price quote and said that he would charge more than the dealer bc the work they did was guaranteed longer & they did better work than the dealer! I'm glad I found a new auto repair shop for my Honda (Danny's Auto Repair in Santa Ana) which is loads cheaper than I ever paid for at Karco. Gggrr Karco read more

My family and I have been doing business with Karco for more then a decade. We trust them so much that nearly everyone has converted to a Toyota for them to service. Not only do we trust them personally, we also had them service our fleet of Toyota trucks as well. Between family and business this has meant that over a dozen vehicles at any given time go through their doors for service each year. If you are tired of feeling like your being overserviced or that you can't trust your service advisor, give Karco a call and let them help you out. read more

I've been coming to Karco for more than two decades with two different Honda's. The first was a 1990 Civic wagon and my current 2004 Element which I've had for 15 years. Part of why I keep my cars as long as I do is I have terrific mechanics to keep them maintained. They are great at diagnosing problems and just as great doing the repair work. If you have a Honda or a Toyota these are the guys to see. read more

If you own a Lexus, take it here! The dealership told me I should change the timing belt on my RX "just in case". They quoted about $3k. Dealership wanted $900 for the next major service. Karco did it for half the price (less than $500, but that included a transmission fluid change or something like that which wasn't included in the Lexus quote). Karco told me my RX has a timing chain which does not need to be replaced. Whew! Nothing but great things are said about them on the Lexus forums, too. read more

I have been taking my cars to Karco for over 20 years. I completely trust them any time they make a suggestion. They are professional and helpful and genuinely nice people too!!! I purposely stick with Toyota, Honda, Scion type cars so that I can still go to Karco! They are the BEST! read more

I found Karco through Yelp a few years ago when my the check engine light came on in my wife's car due to a bad transmission pressure switch. I was skeptical at first, as I usually am when it comes to auto repair shops, but after reading the reviews I decided to give them a shot. I have since insisted that my car, as well as my wife's car (both are Hondas) only be serviced by Karco. I have had my timing belt/water pump/drive belts/etc., starter, and catalytic converter (after it was stolen) all replaced by Karco. I've also referred my family and friends (who have Hondas or Toyotas) to Karco. Unlike any other auto repair shop I have visited in the past, I never leave Karco feeling like I am being ripped off. Terry and Jay are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and above all honest. read more

I trust them to give me an honest assessment of work that is required and to do the work at a fair price. The work is done timely while I wait in the waiting room. It is a long drive from my home to the shop now, but worth it for the peace of mind. read more

Do NOT take your Toyota or Honda to the dealer for service! Jay, Terry and Dick run the best auto service shop I've ever worked with. I've been taking my Toyotas here for 15 years and I've recommended them to all my friends. Full of integrity, honesty and decades of experience, these guys are the real deal! Recently I had a very difficult issue with my Sienna. The Vehicle Stability Control would activate around corners, causing the car to violently brake for no reason! The issue was very difficult to diagnose, but Jay researched the problem in depth and ultimately came up with the solution on his own - tire pressure sensor! I won't trust my Toyotas with anyone else! read more

Karco is awesome! They are professional, honest and will not BS you on any repairs. I trust them 100% I have never had a bad experience and have even bought a car from them a couple months back. It was in great shape, reasonable price, and they have always taken care of me and my past vehicle. I highly recommend them for anyone who has a Toyota or Scion. read more

Getting a smog check across the street from Karco. They couldn't get my hood open. I get my car serviced at Karco so I called them and on a very busy Monday morning they told me to come over and they would see what they could do. I did and immediately two mechanics were there to help me. They knew what to do and got it open in a minute. They didn't charge and I was on my way back to finish the smog check in a few minutes. read more

As always, quick, thorough, high quality service. Wouldn't let anybody else work on my vehicles.

I have been going to Karco since the early 80's. I found them through an article in the Register called "My Favorite Mechanic". After going to dealerships and local repair shops, when I found Karco it was so nice to be able to relax and know I wasn't being cheated. I wanted to buy a different make of car but decided against it so I could keep with Karco. I'm a single woman and I feel that they take care of me and my car as a father or a husband would. They shuttle me to and from my home. They wash my car even if I go in for a simple oil change. I used to travel long distances with just me and 2 dogs and I never had a problem. They would check it out before the trip. I am so thankful that I found them. read more

I've been taking my cars to Karco for years. I tell every one I know to go there because I know they can trust them and no matter what, they'll always be truthful about what the car needs. There's so may auto repair shops who tell you to replace all kinds things that really aren't needed just to run up your repair bill. Every time I've taken my cars there, I've always left pleased that they did the work properly and I paid for what was needed and nothing more. Dick and Jay are always attentive to my requests and give me complete answers as to what they did and why. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

Been living in Orange for 25 years and have been coming here as long as I can remember. they have serviced about 6 different cars for us and have given us superior service each and every time. They have a courtesy car pick up and drop off. Free coffee in the waiting area if you choose to wait during your appointment. They also have a key drop if you want to leave your car the night before. Jay and Terry will answer all of your questions and concerns in language you can understand, no matter what your level of expertise is. They have never suggested something that I didn't need, and always give you honest information so that you can make informed decisions on your car's care. The shop is clean and professional, and they always give you a free car wash too. read more

I have used Karco for many years for the Toyotas and the one Lexus that I have owned over the years. They always can analyze the issue and fix it right the first time. I always get the car back on time as promised and washed. They are #1 in my book for repair and maintenance work. read more

Good mechanics are a dime a dozen. But honest ones are hard to find. Jay and the other guys here are as honest as they come and have serviced my families cars for years. But what completely won me over, was a few years back i was going to buy a lexus is300, third party. I decided to take the car to Karco and pay i believe 75 or 100 for a complete inspection. Before i made the big purchase. They came out after reviewing the car telling me it would be a money pit, handed the other guy the keys and didnt charge me. They couldve advised me to purchase the lexus with some work needed on it and made money off of me. But instead they told me dont do it. Not maybe. Not negotiate a lower price for it. But DONT. I highly recommend these guys. As long as we have a our hondas, we will be returning. Ps. Bonus points, They always wash your car after servicing. read more
