Chicken thigh meat bone-in
Andrei A.

Garlic Naan - Amazing! Fluffy and flavourful. Dark meat chicken (bone-in) - Disappointing. Very little meat. Too many bones. The pieces were small anThe foodd portion size was inadequate. Mango lassi - Overpriced. Service - Good. Nothing to complain about. For those who can't handle spicy food, I would opt for a different option. The food at this place is spicy.

I am glad i found an authentic Pakistani Restaurant located in Etobicoke. A little hidden away from the main street into an industrial area. There was a mural of all the famous paktani artist on one wall. There are little trinkets like riksha, art all over the place. Pakistani music was playing in the background. Onto the food, tried the rolls (chicken & bihari). The chicken malai boti was really good. Bihari kabob was a bit spicy but not bad. The masala fries were covered in spices and were indeed spicy. Will be returning to try other dishes on the menu!

BEST karachi street food in GTA. The rolls and burgers were amazing. Taste takes you right back to karachi.

This place does not nearly get the praise they deserve! The butter chicken is fantastic! AND…read morecheap!! The butter chicken is the main reason for my review. I did not think a franchise would have such rich and spicy, and a tad sweet butter chicken but I was wrong! Karachi Kitchen Dixie location has become my favourite spot in Mississauga for butter chicken and also the cheapest at a whopping $6.25/order. For my lunch today consisting of butter chicken, rice, two spring rolls and a chicken samosa I paid LESS than 15 bucks! And I have left overs for dinner. You really can't go wrong with picking up lunch here through out the work week. My typical call-in takeout order is butter chicken, rice, garlic naan and some snacks. They have these containers of snacks like samosas, spring rolls, fish etc that you can ask for when you pick up your order, I like choosing what I want when I get there and they just add it to my takeout order. One thing though is they don't adjust the curries to your taste (mild/med/hot) as they cook it in one pot. I personally find the butter chicken spiced to my taste (spicy) but I know others may not be a fan of this so may be worth making note of this when you order. And OH I also can't wait to try their $5 biryani which I'v seen raved about! (FYI, the guy that posted the 1 star review about the place and posted photos of it proves he didn't actually go here; this location is takeout only, there are no tables with plates, let alone silver cutlery LOL) Go here!!

While their biryani is great their chicken korma on the other hand is so bad. I ordered one today…read moreand when i got home, i was surprised to see it full of ghee. The korma i know is creamy looking food, not the one like in the picture, oily and taste bad. There's so much oil in it that I was afraid america might invade my food for oil.

The inside is nice and clean, very spacious with plenty of seat. Servers were good but they can definitely be more trained for sit down restaurant. The most disappointing thing was lassi: overly salted and a big water cooler (eye sore). Per them it's Halal. I already been back once and plan to go again.

The walls are covered in pictures featuring artists from Pakistan, architectural landmarks and ofcourse Aftab Iqbal who I have seen on tv when visiting my parents. The menu features staple Pakistani cuisine along with Mediterranean. I was ready to try both, Unfortunately, they didn't have any of the items available on their Mediterranean menu. We tried the Lahori Nashta, halwa puri came with chickpeas (choley), halwa and puri. The combination itself was tasty. The only drawback was that the puri was very oily. The Nihari with naan was my favourite, it was a bit spicy but I couldn't stop eating it. The chai also hit the spot. The service wasn't bad, we received our food quickly the staff was friendly. They do have a great catering menu with great prices which I can't wait to try. Overall, pleased & recommend it.

Located in a small plaza right next to Szechuan Noodle Bowl…read more Loved the interior as it looked newly renovated, clean lines, with some ethnic touches! The ceramic tiled table tops had an Islamic geometric pattern on them and chairs had a tribal weave. What needed work was the following: - Menu is really simple, with NO PRICES were posted. Really? Do customers hafta ask how much each item costs? - Although festive in design, paper plates and sauces presented in takeout containers were used for dine-in - Some dishes needed improvement: 1 kebob was overcooked to the point of tasting bitter, both goat/fish dish were oily Keema naan was good. Fried fish was flavourful and moist, but needy to be drained of oil before being served. Although I do appreciate a succinct menu, it was perhaps a bit too simple. There was no rice and maybe 1 veg dish which I found weird. No Kashmiri Chai available, although it appears on the menu. Again, I don't like that there aren't any prices posted. Service was ok, but it was a younger guy doing everything from taking orders to serving. Luckily, it wasn't very busy when I ordered. Food is ok, I wouldn't be opposed to going back, there is potential, but some things need improvement.

It's terrible for the environment, and it made the drinking water taste bad. I also saw hot tea being served in disposable paper cups. Please, please, please, get proper, re-useable cups to serve your guests with. We had proper plates and cutlery, I don't understand why they gave us styrofoam cups. This was a dark smear on an otherwise great dining experience. Now, on to the food portion of the review. So. Delicious. I am, by no means, an expert on Pakistani food, but I found the flavours of the goat and chicken karahi amazing! We ordered a pound of each, and they came out sizzling in iron skillets. The medium was spicy, so if you're not a spicy person, get it mild. My only gripes were that the goat had quite a bit of bone in it (maybe we got a bad cut), and the chicken was a tad bit dry, but everything was still so very tasty. We got the sesame butter naan to go with our karahi and it was quite possibly some of the best naan I've ever had. Warm and chewy on the inside, a little bit crisp on the outside, and great flavour from the toasted sesame. Mopped up the sauce from the karahi with the naan... I'm still dreaming about it. The interior of the restaurant is quite small, maybe 5-6 tables that sit 2-4. But it's brightly lit, clean, cozy, and has great Pakistani decor. The lady serving us was very sweet and helpful in helping us decide what to eat.
