I've dined at Bombay Frankie three times now. It is one of my favourite indian street foods to eat. Bombay Frankie is a delicious option. Is it the same taste as frankie back in Bombay? No. But it comes pretty darn close. Service is warm and friendly. Definitely recommended! Must try - Paneer Tikka Frankie. Chilli Chicken Frankie

I love Indian food, so this joint seemed to be right up my alley. I showed up around 4:00 on a recent weekday and I had placed my order using their own website, so the wait was only a few minutes. I had decided to try the Chicken Indian Burrito. The website doesn't list what's in it, so I was flying a little blind, but you can't go wrong with a Burrito as far as I'm concerned. It's a hefty concoction. Tender, shredded chicken and beans of some sort are smothered in a tangy, spicy Indian sauce and wrapped in fresh-tasting naan. The first bite impressed me with its flavorfulness and the ingredients all seem to be top quality. My one issue, however, is how same-tasting it is from start to finish. This is the kind of concoction that needed a pickled vegetable or something of that nature to cut through the richness of the sauce. I enjoyed eating this burrito, but would I ever order it again? Probably not. I'm excited to try some of the other items on Bombay Frankies' menu, as it does seem like they're putting together their offerings with care.

Went on a weekend at lunchtime to try their grand opening special that ended late May - I got the…read more$5 butter chicken and $3 fish pakora. Both were solid, but I found out the promo was takeout only upon arrival. They don't have a website and their Insta didn't even mention these promos, so info is not clearly communicated. The food itself was solid - good flavour and spices, and particularly the fish pakora was light on breading and heavy on spice so the flavours really shone through. Butter chicken skimped a bit on the chicken, but the curry was solid, and it came with a great naan. But in stark contrast to online reviews posted, portion size was just mid. I get that it was promo pricing, but they really scaled the portions to match. To the point where I get a better deal ordering at my regular spot for Indian food at original price. Had I known, I likely wouldn't have come specifically to try this restaurant out. For those interested, it's around a normal takeout container, filled to around 40% full. I do not know if it had something to do with the quantity I ordered. The staff member seemed taken aback that I ordered 5x the butter chicken, which is not that wild for people with extended families, but the reason does not matter. It's enough to leave an impression on a first time customer. With so many options in the area, I don't see myself dying to come back. The restaurant was also very quiet when I went, just another customer and myself for the duration I waited. All in all, decent spot location wise, the food is good, and their decor is quite fancy. But portion size runs small, their social media sites and lack of website make even seeing the menu quite difficult, and the sea of 5 star reviews online seem fake, so I prob will not be back.

Food is great. Price is right. The chicken masala we had today was delicious. Sauce was amazing and…read moreabundant. Chicken biryani was just fine. And naan was perfect. With onion salad and raita we both loved it. And lefties! All for $25! Wow!

Me and my husband are exploring fancy/non fancy eat out joints in TO and ended up visiting…read moreGazebo! We came here thinking its a dine in but it's only a takeout and catering with a bar top with a couple of stools in the small yet clean store! The lady behind the desk is the owner herself and the cook!We chit chatted with her she seemed very friendly and hardworking! She offered us to try the pakoras for free which was very generous of her!We ordered a butter chicken combo which comes with 3 samosas and a pop.The Samosas were potatoes filled and one the best I have had in the North America region and the butter chicken was quite average. The naan was not home made rather store bought and grilled at the store- I wasn't impressed! We also ordered Tandoori chicken which are sold by the piece each one was for two dollars. The chicken was juicy and very flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken. As we were eating the lady/owner offered us some biryani to try and with that she offered us two small beef samosas both were a hit! We found her very generous and sweet! Overall Verdit! This place is a hidden gem for both potatoes and beef samosas and pakoras but on the other hand the food was average but I will have to give her a 4 star for her outstanding customer service she knows how to please customers. While we were there we saw lots of people doing carry out and placing catering orders! Will definitely go there again for samosas and pakoras!

However the taste of the samosas made us forget the wait. They give the Samosa with a sweet sour chutney which is even more yummy. I liked the veggies samosa over the chicken ones. We also took a lb of veggie pakora which were good. I am not sure but I guess pre- ordering and pick up here is a better option. $1 chicken samosa and $1 for 2 veg samosas

This place does not nearly get the praise they deserve! The butter chicken is fantastic! AND…read morecheap!! The butter chicken is the main reason for my review. I did not think a franchise would have such rich and spicy, and a tad sweet butter chicken but I was wrong! Karachi Kitchen Dixie location has become my favourite spot in Mississauga for butter chicken and also the cheapest at a whopping $6.25/order. For my lunch today consisting of butter chicken, rice, two spring rolls and a chicken samosa I paid LESS than 15 bucks! And I have left overs for dinner. You really can't go wrong with picking up lunch here through out the work week. My typical call-in takeout order is butter chicken, rice, garlic naan and some snacks. They have these containers of snacks like samosas, spring rolls, fish etc that you can ask for when you pick up your order, I like choosing what I want when I get there and they just add it to my takeout order. One thing though is they don't adjust the curries to your taste (mild/med/hot) as they cook it in one pot. I personally find the butter chicken spiced to my taste (spicy) but I know others may not be a fan of this so may be worth making note of this when you order. And OH I also can't wait to try their $5 biryani which I'v seen raved about! (FYI, the guy that posted the 1 star review about the place and posted photos of it proves he didn't actually go here; this location is takeout only, there are no tables with plates, let alone silver cutlery LOL) Go here!!
