TooGoodToGo- 3 loaves of bread, one pack of mini-bread slider buns, mistake pretzel cookies and mistake chocolate
    Stan H.

Fresh bread and mistake cookies and chocolate that still taste fine. The price is right, service was excellent, and pickup was fast. Just wish they offered this on weekends and that pickup time during the week was later on and it is hard for people to pickup 430-5 unless they happen to be off etc

Such a cute place, I was looking for snacks to take on the plane and chips don't cut it for me, I need pastries so I stumbled upon this place after brunch. Whatever kind of pastry that you want they got it for you and in multiple varieties. I got the banana bread and a pound cake that was wrapped up individually. It was very moist and delicious.

Off the chain! Great Jewish fare found here. Everything I had was amazing and the staff are particularly friendly. Normal deli type environment, I found it quaint and peaceful. Philly, you rock!

This is the perfect cute bakery set right by Liberty Lands. We love coming here after the park to grab a snack :) Pros - reasonable prices - the pizza knish is one of my favorites! Tastes just like a hot pocket - the ladies here are super sweet. Sometimes they give my toddler a cookie for free :) - muffins are moist and delicious (not overly sweet) - they participate in Too Good to Go and offer quite hefty bags of goods so nothing goes to waste Cons - wish they had a menu posted somewhere. Sometimes I don't know what the options are just from looking at the pastry

If you haven't stopped by Kaplan's for their Jewish Rye, you shouldn't. More for me. Kaplan's has been a staple in the Philly area for a long time! My grandmother used to frequent this joint 50 years back! Maybe not this location, but you get the vibes. They have it all. From fresh rye bread, bakery sweets, and coffee too. Everything smelled so fresh and the joint only allowed two customers in at a time. Very safe given the Covid-Times. Recommend calling for tour order a day in advance as they make their specialty rye breads to order only. What we snagged: -Large Jewish Rye. So damn good and so fresh. It was gone in a day... -Various danishes -Various cookies. All came to sub $30. Can't beat the price. We'll be back to share this rye with many friends and family. Again, don't go here. More for me.

Great crusty pumpernickel and even better seeded rye bread for $4 a loaf, slicing optional, highly recommend! Also bakes seedless rye and marble rye. Opens early 7 days a week like a good bakery should. Claims to be Philadelphia's oldest Jewish bakery. As others have noted, this is a very small sales room attached to an enormous commercial operation. I tried a Kaplan's cheese danish also, perfectly fine but not up to the standard set by that delicious bread. Next time I'll try the cookies.

It's good in a pinch. Their bagels are fine, nothing crazy. The rolls are super super dry. It's a cute shop and an easy bakery to get to.

It's a small bakery and a small selection but sufficient. We got the sponge bread, the custard bread, the egg tart, the pineapple bun, and the barbecue pork bun for )10.70 cash. The sponge bread is slightly sweet and very light and really quite wonderful. The barbecue pork bun and the pineapple bun were exactly as it should taste. No wonder those two are the best sellers. The egg tart is not too sweet, none of these breads are (aka high praise for any pastries ). Would definitely return! I thought the service was nice. I think there could be some challenges with English, but you could also just point!! My personal favorites are the sponge bread and the pineapple bun. So that's what I would get again. For people who love barbecue pork bun, I think you probably would want to get this.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
