This location has a mice issue unfortunately. I purchased two bags of bagels from Kismet Bagels, and both bags had little holes that mice seemed to have gnawed through. The bagels have only been sitting in my refrigerator after I got them, and I noticed them after I had already consumed some bagels. Philly has a mice issue, but I'm disappointed that Kismet doesn't do a better job of keeping their food safe for customers.

100000% yes the everything bagel was seasoned to perfection, the egg sandwhich with the ooey gooey cheese and don't get me started on the zhug sauce...no idea what it is but I know it's delicious. I want to try every single one of their bagels bc they know how to make a bagel.

I can't wait to come back here for breakfast. The bagels are incredible -- well seasoned (pretty dense layer of everything seasoning), crunchy exterior, soft interior. These bagels are a little smaller than your average, so I was left wanting a few more bites by the end, but they do make up for it on the height; there's a pretty good amount of egg and bacon in there. The cheese is perfectly melded with the cheese almost like a sauce. The staff is also super friendly -- goes a long way! Highly recommend making a trip here. It's hard for me to walk by a place that has a line out the door, which is music to the business' ears I'm sure! I wanted my standard poppyseed bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was way more dense than I expected, and different than the airy ones I tend to lean towards. However, in its own way it's really good. It left a bit of a rock in my gut but, hey, I skipped lunch. ;)

The Fish on Everything Bagel, Rosemary Sea Salt Bagel with Cream Cheese Iwas told the northeast does bagels and pastries best, but holy crap this is so mindblowing I'm obsessed. The salmon on everything bagel was delicious, I don't understand how they make bagels this good. The pickle and tomato in this were perfect. The rosemary sea salt Bagel was lifechanging too I just want to eat again this so bad right now

Small store front with outside seating when the weather is nice. We went at noon on a Saturday and there was a short but consistent stream of people. Food was prepared quickly so there was not a long wait. I ordered The Fish sandwich on a sesame bagel. It has pastrami lox, tomato, red onion, pickles, and cream cheese! It was tasty and you could taste the pastrami seasoning! Good bagel chewiness too! Overall, easy place to go for a quick but tasty snack!

I like the vegan egg & cheese Sammy on a toasted everything bagel. we buy a tub of the cream cheese for our house as it's the best around! The strawberry oat milk latte with expresso is delicious (I prefer iced).

Yay real bagels!! Walked over to Fishtown to try this place out. Very small inside with no seating. Great for a quick takeout. The service is very fast, and everyone is friendly. A TON of vegan options! Tried this paprika chili vegan cream cheese on my breakfast bagel, and it ruled. I will probably be back later today to pick up a tub of it. My husband got the fish sandwich with the pastrami lox, he loved it. The toppings on the bagels are top and bottom - they're coated. Nice texture and chew to them. 10/10.

Kismet Bagels is a must for breakfast! The year round salt rosemary bagel is such a unique and incredible flavor. We had the "The Egg" on a salt rosemary bagel with scrambled eggs, cooper sharp cheese and zhug spread. Zhug is made from garlic, cilantro and chili pepper. We also tried a poppyseed bagel with dill pickle cream cheese spread which was tangy! Loved it! Their latkes are pretty spot on, not too oily and not overly crisp. It came with sour cream dip and apple sauce dip. Would definitely recommend the sour cream dip!

I had the turkey on wheat with American cheese. I opted for the Russian dressing since I'm not a fan of hot deli mustard. I had it toasted panini style. The service was quick, friendly and you could tell they took pride in what they were doing. My wife opted for the pastrami on wheat with may and provolone cheese, also panini style. She had potato salad as a side and the coleslaw. Both were good. The Marketplace is a very large (formerly Penn Station) turned open market area covering food, produce, meat market, flowers, artisans etc. A wonderful place. The food was awesome the meats were amazingly tasty and worth the price!

We originally ordered just one sandwich to share, but it was so good that we ended up going back for another one. The pastrami was flavorful, tender, and packed generously into the sandwich. We also got lucky because there weren't too many people when we arrived, so we were able to grab seats right at the counter and enjoy everything fresh. Highly recommended if you're visiting Reading Market, definitely one of the standout food spots there.

This was my first time actually trying it and it definitely lived up to the hype of the Yelp reviews. My wrap had chicken, hummus, lettuce, and feta, and it was so delicious. My chicken was very good, very tender and seasoned well. It also had a great creamy hummus to tie all the other ingredients together. The feta added just enough saltiness to balance out the rest of the flavors. All of the ingredients were very fresh, and my wrap was extremely soft, yet still maintained its form completely as I ate. I also ordered a Nutella hot chocolate. It was delicious! It was my fist time having a Nutella hot Chocolate. I usually just get a normal hot chocolate. The pita chips served as an additional side item with this sandwich and proved to be quite enjoyable. The pita chips had a good crunch and were able to pair with the wrap very well. I ended up eating all of the pita chips! It was a great lunch and I enjoyed my wrap! I would likely order from Café Square One again in the future, especially, if that wrap is still on their menu!

I went to Middle Child a few weeks ago just after 3, only to find it closes at 3. Today I returned, around 1, and there was a good crowd there having lunch. I ordered the Surfer, and the Hash Brown Potatoes. The Surfer is Middle Child's most popular sandwich. It's made on a Ciabatta bun, and has a thick layering of tender, lean, House Turkey breast, with melty Swiss cheese, arugula, blueberry chutney, and Duke's mayo. It's hard to describe just how delicious this sandwich was. My biggest concern was the Ciabatta bun - it's not one of my favorites, as I've found them to be tough and difficult to bite through. My fears were quickly put to rest after the first bite! The bun had a slightly crispy exterior - and when I followed through with my first bite, the tender, soft interior of the Ciabatta was a pleasant surprise. In fact, it complemented the thick savory Turkey, arugula, chutney and mayo! It was one of the best Turkey sandwiches I've had. Now, if that wasn't enough, don't forget, I ordered the Hash Brown Potatoes. It said Hash Browns on the blackboard, see attached picture, but these 'weren't your Mama's hash browns'! They are described online as Latka'd Hash Browns. They are thick crispy squares that combine a potato pancake latke with a hash brown texture. The interior reminded me of my mother's potato kugel, which I still reminisce about. In one word, those fried crispy potato squares were outstanding. It's 'a must try' and goes so well with the Surfer! Last, but not least, the Limeade! It was so refreshing! Not too tart, not too sweet... just right! I'll be returning to Middle Child in the not too distant future!

The corned beef was an enticing vibrant pink, tender and juicy, with a perfectly balanced and pure saltiness that accentuated the beef's natural flavor. The scrambled eggs were incredibly smooth and creamy, complemented by the rich, melted cooper sharp cheese. The rye was toasted with butter, giving it a thin, crispy crust and a soft interior--a bit softer than Hershel's East Side Deli's, fragrant but not greasy. Every part was delicious, and the combination was harmonious and delightful. The portion of ingredients was very generous, definitely worth the $14.50 price. The service was a little slow, but the moment you tasted it, you would forgive everything!
