From the original call to schedule a quote to the finished project and final payment, Kapalua Floors was professional and true to their word in everything they said and promised. Joe helped us pick the polyurethane product that would be best with our two large dogs. We chose the water based commercial grade Bona Traffic with a satin finish. It looks great, and I have high expectations that it will hold up well. We didn't really think their "dustless" system would be dustless, as we've had our floors refinished before, but it was! Joe Meyecic and his crew of highly trained professionals did a fantastic job on all of my hardwood floors. The crew was very knowlegeable and very polite. The crew leader, Evan was so nice. They installed white oak solid wood flooring in my kitchen and nook, then sanded and stained this plus my foyer....about 650 sq ft in total. They did an excellent job and I'm a very picky person for work done on my house. Joe, the manager is easy to work with and let's you change things at the last minute. We had them put down a lot of stain colors in multiple places on the actual floor until we found one we really liked and they were great about working with us on that. Very customer oriented. The quality of their work is outstanding. The floor looks perfect and absolutely no squeaks. We had James, Jon and Evan as our crew and they were very courteous and accommodating. Kapalua Floors has just finished redoing my tired old floors, which had been marinating under wall-to-wall carpeting for 50 years. What and amazing job; they look like entirely new wood. We had a very good experience with Kapalua Floors. Our old oak floors were in poor condition when we hired them to help with our floor. They were able to sand, repair, and replace parts of our floor. The sanding was truly dustless. The repairs and wood pieces they replaced blend in with our existing floor flawlessly. Their pricing was reasonable as well. Our condo had hardwood in the kitchen and entrance with carpeting throughout the remainder of the condo. Provider had previously refinished a hallway and stair treads for us. After our kitchen remodel was completed a few months later, more hardwood flooring in the hallway next to the kitchen entrance was exposed and needed repair/replacement and finishing.
