I really appreciated how transparent they are. Each stylist has a profile with a bio and a picture. The services and individual pricings are listed upfront in the booking portal, which made it easy to choose someone who fit what I was looking for. Price transparency is important to me, and at the very end I was charged exactly what I booked. My stylist was Mikayla, and she was incredibly meticulous/detail-oriented. She spent about 4.5 hours perfecting my Full Highlights, and I never felt like she was rushing through any part of the process. During the consultation, I felt heard. She listened to what I wanted without any judgment or pressure to steer me toward a different outcome. Instead, the conversation felt collaborative, with explanations that helped me make informed decisions. I know for some, having to chat for all that time may be daunting. Mikayla struck the perfect balance between friendly conversation and giving me space. She clearly communicated each step of the process before doing it. My Full Highlights service included foiling, toning, a shadow root, a hair mask, and a full blowout. I'm so happy with how everything turned out!

Colby really took the time to listen to what I wanted and understood exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to keep my long hair while adding movement and shape, and he absolutely nailed it. My hair finally looks the way I had envisioned. Beyond his talent, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the appointment. Before I left, he even let me know that if there was anything I'd like adjusted after living with the haircut for a few days, he'd be happy to take care of it. When I brought up my concerns, the owner, I sent her this same video (Emily) explained that this is what the salon considers a partial ROOT highlight touchup. I already had my hair previously bleached . I respect that explanation, but for $240 plus a $50 tip ($290 total), I expected a more noticeable result. She offered to correct it for an additional $50. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision and have a clear understanding of what this salon considers a partial highlight ROOT service.

This review took me months to write because reliving it is genuinely upsetting. I want to start by…read moresaying the stylist I saw, Caitlyn, is a sweet person but she destroyed my hair. I went to her in October for a refresh of my highlights. I was already nervous, since my previous stylist had moved away and always took great care of my fine hair, making sure it never got damaged. I told Caitlyn upfront that I was anxious about letting someone new bleach my hair, given a history of stylists frying it, and that I chose her specifically because she's a senior stylist. She reassured me she doesn't use heat dryers and starts with a low developer, so my hair would be fine. Once I was in the chair, I explained exactly what I wanted: a little brighter, a refresh of all my highlights, but keeping the dark root and dimension shown in my before photo. She agreed and got started. She never mentioned pricing, so I assumed it would be around $400 at most. During the appointment, she suggested going through my ends because they looked dark. I said maybe next time, since I wanted to preserve the integrity of my hair. Later, she mentioned she'd gone ahead and done a few extra pieces at the bottom anyway something I never asked for. By the time she finished washing my hair, it was already dark outside, so I told her not to worry about blow-drying it. I went home with wet hair. Even then, it looked extremely blonde, which worried me, but I assumed it was just because it was wet. At checkout, I was shocked: the total came to $650. I left a tip anyway because she was watching the screen as I paid and I felt put on the spot. (Receipts attached.) When I got home, my husband immediately said my hair looked way too blonde and pointed out broken pieces. He was right. Over the next few days, it kept breaking. My hair had taken years to get healthy, and in one appointment it became dry, brittle, and was falling out. The extra strands she did without asking only made the breakage worse. I ended up buying box dye to fix the color myself, since I hated how it looked. As of June 2026, I've had to cut at least 8 inches off, and I'm still working to repair the damage. This experience caused me real distress -- I loved my hair, and I deeply regret trying a new stylist. I'm sharing this so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Chairs are comfortable, beverages are complimentary and offered on seating, and the herbs they use for teas and soaks smell incredible. Finding a good nail salon is always a stressful task. What made this even more frustrating was that nowhere on the booking site or Instagram page does it clearly state that new clients are required to complete an email consultation prior to their appointment. After explaining the cancellation, Stephanie quickly asked me to put my hair down so she could assess it and ultimately said she could still fit me in for the service I booked but that I would have to wait because she was busy. During the time slot I had originally booked, she was servicing another client. The most disappointing part of the experience was how cold and unwelcoming the interaction felt. My hair wash was extremely rough, rough enough that the shampoo bottle was even dropped during the service and the entire appointment felt rushed. There was no effort made to make me feel valued as a client. As someone who also works in the beauty industry, I truly believe client experience and genuinely making an effort to talk to your client is important and part of the job. At one point, while going back and forth between me and the other client, she told the other client, "10 more minutes and I'll be all yours," which only reinforced how much of an inconvenience I felt like during my appointment. To be clear, this review is solely based on the customer service experience, not the quality of her work. I'm not seeking a refund. I'm only sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision and in hopes that this feedback is taken seriously by the salon as it seems I'm not the only one with this experience.

I cannot recommend this salon, especially for new clients. I had to cancel an appointment one day…read morein advance after already paying a $50 deposit. Instead of using the deposit to cover the cancellation, the stylist tried to charge me an additional late fee on top of it. Even though there's nowhere on website or her receipt saying they charge cancellation fee. All the receipt said "if you cancel or reschedule we keep the $50" Furthermore, getting in touch with them is nearly impossible because they do not answer their phone. New clients should watch out for these hidden fee practices and the lack of reliable communication.

I was on yelp searching for a salon where I could run in and get a trim because my normal stylist's…read moresalon is over an hour away and I didn't feel like driving that far for a trim.When I got there I was greeted quickly by a lady (I believe her name was Maria). I told her I just wanted a small trim like half an inch. After taking that amount off she showed me the back of my hair and said it was still round in the back from the layers I had already. Kindly she asked if I wanted a straight cut or keep it round. We decided to go with a blunt cut taking off an inch more and it came out great! She was very patient and took her time to make sure I achieved the look I desired. This was refreshing considering some hair dressers won't consult in you and just chop off what they think looks best. Overall this is a great spot to run in for a quick cut! :)

Kim is a delightful person. She does know how to do hair. But for whatever reason, she can't do my…read morehair the same way twice. The first time I went in there were too many yellow highlights. I went back and Kim fixed them. Very good. The next time I went in, the color was great. It wasn't too yellow or too dark. I wasn't happy with the cut because my hair wouldn't lay right. I went in today, 4/2/26. I told Kim my color the last time was great but the cut didn't lay well. When I left, my hair was a color it's never been in my life. It was brown. And that is after I said it looked too dark. Kim used a completely different method for the color and the result was a completely different hair color than I have ever had before. My hair is brown. It's a nice shade of brown but it's not at all what I asked for. I look like death with dark hair. That's why I come in to get my roots done..I'm staggered now. I could go back and ask Kim to fix it. But I'm afraid of what will happen next.

I have never met anyone like Britt who actually cares about their clients hair health. She is a true artist who matched my color exactly, installed my extensions and I can barely feel them in.
