The young man at the register was nice and was trying to figure it out before he had to call for help. When his manager came, he too was nice about trying to figure out the issue as well. We finally found out what the issue was. Since they didn't sell that item in the store, it couldn't be returned there. Makes sense. He told me to maybe try the one further down Qns Blvd and they apologized for the issue (which wasn't their fault).

So you have to ask for a store associate to help you unlock the items you want. The positive side to that's is that there seems to be more room in the aisles now. I thought it was a little weird they had no way to print a return shipping label (pdf file) and I had to purchase tape and rewrap the open package. I left the store hoping to find a place to print my return shipping package. After walking around the neighborhood, I realized that I needed to use my phone to locate a place to print the label. While walking to the nearest Staples, I realized that the pdf file I wanted to print was printable from any computer. Have you ever heard of a computer that could not print a pdf file? Me neither. I realized I had been lied to and consequently had to walk 13 blocks on a warm summer day to Staples. While on the way to Staples, I ran across a small business that was a Fedex shipping and printing center. I went in and was told to send my pdf file to the email address printed on the piece of paper in front of me. I was then handed a spoll of tape and told to wrap the package. When I had trouble with the package, the employee said he would help. He wrapped the package and printed the label. I left the business happy to have received what I should have gotten from the get go. Walgreens should hire better people. I am shocked at the bad customer service.

The medication was ready since 10am I did get a call about it. It wouldn't have taken long for them just to give me my medication. They were so rude and closed the gate down on me while I was still speaking to a lady trying to explain to her my situation. Some of the female staff members come across with an attitude that makes interactions uncomfortable and unnecessarily difficult. Customer service used to be a strong point here, but now it feels like an afterthought. Simple questions or requests are sometimes met with impatience or lack of professionalism, which shouldn't be the case in a customer-facing environment. Corporate really needs to take a closer look at what's happening in these stores and consider implementing better customer service training. A more positive and respectful approach would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

In my employment history, I had worked in two (2) retail brick and mortar store businesses and there is always one register that is closed because there is no cash intentionally, but during the holidays this register functions designated for credit/debit cards only payment intended to alleviate the long queuing line surrounding the cash wrap for customer efficient movement flow. I just ended up going to self-checkout and only bought one item instead of the 6-10 items I actually needed. The store looks like a complete mess, with a lot of barely stocked shelves.
