I've been a customer at CVS Pharmacy for a while, but the quality of service has seriously gone downhill. The experience lately has been frustrating more often than not. Some of the female staff members come across with an attitude that makes interactions uncomfortable and unnecessarily difficult. Customer service used to be a strong point here, but now it feels like an afterthought. Simple questions or requests are sometimes met with impatience or lack of professionalism, which shouldn't be the case in a customer-facing environment. Corporate really needs to take a closer look at what's happening in these stores and consider implementing better customer service training. A more positive and respectful approach would go a long way in improving the overall experience. read more

In my employment history, I had worked in two (2) retail brick and mortar store businesses and there is always one register that is closed because there is no cash intentionally, but during the holidays this register functions designated for credit/debit cards only payment intended to alleviate the long queuing line surrounding the cash wrap for customer efficient movement flow. This is the worst cvs ever , the pharmacy is so hard to communicate, you have to be a computer person to get your prescription, type in all your info , answer many questions, what's the Job of the counter clerk ? My girl friend is blind and they asked her to sign a screen she cannot see , they insisted on it , how screwed up is that ! I was a little wary coming here from previous reviews but I thought it want too bad. The store didn't seem disorganized or under stocked. The store itself wasn't too busy but the pharmacy was. That, like most CVS, is the back of the store. Pretty much standard CVS set up otherwise. The only downside I saw was there didn't seem to be enough staff and they don't have the self check out kiosks. I'd rather check out with a person but the lines usually move quicker when they have self check out options. I do like that there's a parking lot here which is not the case with most of the other CVS's close to me. read more

I would give no stars if it was possible. This is easily one of the worst CVS locations I've ever been to with a completely rude and unprofessional staff. Upon going to make a return of an item that had clearly been opened the "manager" who was not more than 16 years old proceeded to say she could deny my return to her store and did not need to give me a reason. Despite me pointing out that I was well within the policy and the dates stated she said that it was up to her to choose what merchandise she had in her store. Mind you this was after 10 minutes of searching for issues with the product and themselves breaking the box and dropping it upon trying to open. read more

Prior to CVS Pharmacy, the plot of land was the place of a nice supermarket called Key Food, Bohacks before then. Both grocery stores were well staffed with helpful and friendly employees. Perhaps CVS uses a converse training program to its previous tenants. The looks of utter disdain that runs rampant from counter to aisles, covers the shoppers experience like a dark and ominous storm cloud. (Side question; does the photo area personnel ever step in to assist with a line as long as a country mile?). I was ignored when I politely asked a price on an item, ignored when I asked if a particular register was available. Go see Norman 4 blocks up Metropolitan Ave toward Union Tpke at Metro Drugs, where your dollars support the local merchant and break the chain of the incoherent and unavailable corporate conglomerates. read more

Manager is the rudest man on the planet. Reprimands employees in front of customers and has no hospitality about him at all. Coupon machine has been "broken" for a year+. Self check out never works or freezes and then you have to wait even longer because the guy behind you is now at the check out with the only cashier. Sale items don't ring up correctly so you gotta watch every scan. This CVS is the pits. The pharmacy however is so wonderful! They are super nice, will let you know if you have an upcoming refill and fill it right then so you don't have to come back, and send you texts when you Rx is ready. The are like a friendly neighborhood pharmacy who get to know their regulars. Always pleasant and easy to smile. This CVS location is probably THE MOST DISGUSTING location I have ever been to. The entire store smells like a complete CESSPOOL. I'm talking BAD. Like someone walked in, pulled down their pants, and took a literal DUMP on aisle three. I'm not even exaggerating. It smells like S.H.*T. I couldn't even shop. I tried calling this location because I had a question. I called a couple of times over an hour or 2 and there was no answer (Strike 1). I drove over to this location and started shopping over at the summer clearance section, which was all 75% off. I wanted to check the prices before I got on line to buy things but the scanner machine was broken (strike 2). I waited on the long line to ask the prices and when I got to the front everything was scanning for full price (strike 3). The guy explained that he would adjust the prices as we were buying the things. Only problem is we weren't going to buy all that stuff. We just wanted to know prices. It only got worse from here on out. The 2 biggest issues I have related to the experience was that the guy I was dealing with was a manager. He was overwhelmed, borderline nasty, and very unprofessional. The second issue I have is that all the clearance items were scanning for full price. Unless you are staring at the prices as they scan, there is a good chance you wouldn't catch the error, and I would bet the farm that the employees weren't stopping in the middle of the order to adjust the prices. I tried explaining this to the manager and he just got nastier and more defensive. If it says 75% off then it should scan for 75% off. It was shady that they weren't and his answers were poor excuses for a horrible business practice. I guarantee that countless people were mischarged because of this. read more

This pharmacy never picks up the phone. I've been on for two 35-minute sessions and another 45--all in the same afternoon. And another 45 mins tonight. What gives? Really horrible. The pharmacist Patrick is amazing. He overheard a conversation between the pharmacy assistant that my prescription dose was not available and was slightly dif than all the other prescriptions that I have been taking. Another medication my doctor ordered something different as well as the previous was a time released medicine. He personally called my doctor several times even on my doctor's day off and got my prescriptions filled and called me personally that they were ready for pickup. This pharmacist gave excellent customer service even better than the mom and pop pharmacies that the smaller ones are know to do. Curbside pick up at this location is a horrible experience! I placed a curbside order for pick up at this location. I received a confirmation to text "here" when I parked the car. After I text "here", I received what I assume to be an automated response to turn on the car's hazard lights when I see a cvs associate come out with my order. After 5 min, no one came out. I walk in and found one cashier. I get online to ask for the item I ordered for curbside delivery. The cvs associate hands me the item. They did not give me the curbside discount so I asked about it. The sales associate said I needed to talk to the manger. The sales associate also indicated that it was only him and his manager running the store today. So basically, no one was taking care of curbside delivery. The cashier was busy taking care of the customers in the store and the manager was hiding in his office. I was told he is busy. I don't know what he was doing back there. He did come out to assist with my issue but the point is curbside delivery is a cvs concept that could not be effectively executed. read more

The staff, at 4 pm, were restocking shelves and had boxes thrown in the middle of the aisles, the store reeked of marijuana (which can be both good or bad depending on how you see it) and the check out counter had one person working it and 20+ people on line. Horrible customer service. Pharmacy supposed to be open at 9AM. I waited after 9AM for several minutes. I was told by the store manager Mike, who is always surly, and speaks without ever looking at you that the pharmacist was late because of traffic...during the COV-19..traffic. I am working and had to leave. They won't deliver my prescription as it requires refrigeration. So I have take time to go there again. No apology offered. And they lied saying Tanya the Pharmacist showed up at 9:01 AM. At 9:02 I went to the front store staff and asked why the pharmacy gates were still down. They said there is no pharmacy worker there. I left and waited a few more minutes hoping she would show up but she did not and I had to get to my assignment. I told the pharmacy receptionist they had a 1.5 on Yelp..the response was "that's fine". Save yourself the aggravation, go to another pharmacy!! read more

I came in to CVS with the intentions of purchasing a night guard. The one I wanted was listed for for $45 on the CVS website. In the store it was listed for $50. I asked the manager if they can match the price they have on their website, she said the following: Manager: NO! Go home and go buy it online! it's cheaper. Me: There's no way you can match the price in the store? I'm not asking you to match a price from your competitor or anything. Manager: That's a online price! (Gives me a dirty look and walks away) It's just a $5 dollar difference, if she wasn't such a biatch about it, I would of just agreed and saved myself the trouble and purchased right there and then. Also, the pharmacist here can be real rude at times. I come here frequently to pickup my mother's prescriptions. CVS would call you before you come and let you know ahead of time that your medicine is ready for pickup. Just about every time I go, they always inform me that my mother's prescription is not ready and then I have to argue with them why do they bother leaving a voice mail claiming that my mother's medicine is ready for pickup when it really isn't? Is this some kind of a cruel joke for a women who has had 2 kidney transplants? This is the best part, after the argument, they always tell me wait 10 minutes or come back later. Sometimes I wait, and when I do, it never takes just 10 minutes. It takes more and finally until another pharmacist ask what am I waiting for, she looks up my mother's prescriptions in the system and then tells me, there's nothing here for your mom! Like seriously, WTF? the other pharmacist says it would be ready in 10 but doesn't even bother refilling my mother's vials or inputing it into their system while this pharmacist is telling me that there's nothing for ready for pickup. After a bunch of finger pointing and nonsense, their conclusion is to have me pick up the meds the following day. And sometimes, by the following day, the same issue occurs. It's either still not in their system or they didn't refill all of my mother's meds. Sometimes they'll give me 1 our of 3, 2 out of 3, long story short, they make me run back and forth to them several times whenever it's time to refill my mother's meds. They can never give me everything in one shot to save me some time. Verdict - Very unprofessional! I like their calling system, letting customers know that they're meds are ready but only if that actually worked! The store manager is a major C word, the pharmacist are all jerks, the only nice people here are the ones doing stock work. Very poor management and an awful pharmaceutical staff. read more

I am a 75 year old woman who is visiting from North Carolina with a chronic lung condition. I have been diagnosed with covid. My albuterol inhaler isn't working properly and I need a refill my prescription which was issued in North Carolina. I called this pharmacy over a period of 2 days and each time I called I hung up after being on hold for over 45 minutes. Today I called the physician line because I was increasingly desperate. All I wanted to know was whether they could fill my prescription or whether my NC CVS needed to call them. A woman answered and I explained why I was calling. She said I was calling on the physician line. I explained that I had tried several times to get through on the patient line to no avail. She said hold on and put me on the patient line; after an hour I hung up. She could have answered my simple question. Yes if she could fill it. No if they needed to call. If this is typical of the service this business offers I am not surprised at it's single star rating. read more

I had the misfortune to deal with the miserable individual known as Mike. You know the guy. Balding. Prison tats. Looks like he's made some poor life choices. I had a return to make and I had my receipt, my ID and my CVS rewards card. The only problem was that the original credit card from my purchase had been compromised that week and it had been replaced with a new card with 4 different last digits. Right from the beginning something was wrong with Mike. I said "Hi!" and he just glared at me and didn't respond. Then he refused to do the return and kept yelling "I can't do it! I can't do it! You can take 50% of the purchase price or forget it!" WTF? Why would I take 50% of the purchase price when I have my receipt? I told him I was fine with a store credit and I didn't need a refund and he kept yelling "50% off! Take it or leave it!!" I didn't feel like arguing with a weirdo so I left and came back the next day and the staff on duty cheerfully issued a store credit. Why should any customer have to waste their time like this? Another thing is that they keep a lot of items on lockdown and you have to go looking for someone with a key. There was no one around one day so I went to the door in the back which is plastered with "Employees Only" and "DO NOT ENTER" signs and knocked. A female manager came out and told me to leave her alone because she was using the bathroom. Also, when they have BOGO sales (buy one, get one 50% off), why is it that they only have ONE ITEM on the shelf? Bait and switch. Most of the employees here are very nice. I come to this location about two times a week to buy my snacks. Sometimes the speed of checkout is pretty quick and some cashiers are nice. But there's two associates I dread when I checkout. The manager that never asks for my CVS card and seems he wants the day to end already and the dirty blonde chick that wears the white cloak that is ALWAYS texting on her phone.... Even in front of customers! What's worse is the first time she checked me out, she was laughing about what she read on her phone while greeting me at the register but still glued to her phone. This place harass you like crazy. I started going here and it no problem, since I was on one medication. Later on, I went on like four other medicines prescribed by my doctors. After few months, my doctors told me I don't need anymore medications since they all had refills. When they reminded me on the refills for those medicines, I politely said I don't need them anymore. With numerous text and calls, I kept saying no to these refills. One of the refills kept coming back on my text. I even called the manage over the phone and ask them to stop. The manager was useless. This place continue to harass me as I kept saying "NO." THEY DONT UNDERSTABD THE WORD NO MEAN!!! I check with one doctor office and a mom and pop pharmacy saying " we the patience are responsible to stop any medicine when it was order by the doctor or you don't need any refills at that time" Never going back to this cvs or any other cvs. read more
