Went to pick up a medicine before work . Which was before 2pm it's was 1:30pm. This is my frequent pharmacy so I know they close at 2pm for lunch. The medication was ready since 10am I did get a call about it. It wouldn't have taken long for them just to give me my medication. They were so rude and closed the gate down on me while I was still speaking to a lady trying to explain to her my situation. I fly out for work tomorrow and won't be able to pick up any other time today. So unprofessional. It says on Google pharmacy closes at 2pm not 1:30! read more

Normally the line is very long in the front to pay but there are two cashiers each taking 2 customers at a time; however, today there was only 1 cashier who I believe is a manager, and a nice one at that. But she spent an inordinate amount of time with one customer who was arguing over a coupon while everyone on line was screaming to open another register. Another mgr came over but refused to open another register, because one person was covering "photos" where there were no customers at all and she herself was leaving the front area. The line kept growing and finally the photo person decided to open her register. Shame on you. You just might get better reviews if you valued your customers. read more

Went to this pharmacy to pick up medication today. I asked a question to the pharmacist and she was very rude to me and gave me a dirty look as I was walking away. I called about this medication earlier in the week and I had a rude person on the phone I suspect it was from the same pharmacist. Tall, white woman with long brown hair stay away from her. She is rude. From here on, I'm switching my prescriptions to another CVS. read more

Came here for a flu shot and COVID vaccine. Quick and efficient. Not much of a wait with an appointment. I waited 5 minutes but only because I was 5 minutes early. No paperwork--I filled out everything online. They emailed the vaccine records afterward. Their website could be improved. It didn't mention whether they had the updated or old flu shot while I was making the appointment; it just said 'flu shot'. (It was the updated vaccine--for both.) It does other weird stuff too. It keeps asking for my birthday, as if the website can't remember anything. Don't know much about the rest of this store. read more

This is the worst CVS store I've ever been to and I'm forced to go here because it's the closest to my apartment. There is never an efficient checkout line even when there are two cashiers open. They simply don't know how to work efficiently to send customers on their way. Most items are locked up and takes forever for someone to come unlock the item. But the pharmacy itself is by far the worst feature of the entire store. They open at 9:00 am, supposedly. It is consistently 9:10 am and the gate is still shut. Which is wild to me considering that some people have to stop by to pick up their medication on their way to work. Even when you get a text from CVS letting you know that your medication is ready, once you get there, they tell you it will take an hour to fill. Yes, it would be ideal to call first BUT NO ONE EVER ANSWERS. You get the PRESCRIBER voicemail which makes no sense if you're not a prescriber. Looking to switch to the other CVS in queens blvd. The only reason why I come here is that it's close to my apartment. The pharmacy is so badly run it's ridiculous. It's all young women who seem to just constantly be counting pills, not helping customers, playing on their phones, and gossiping with each other. I made an appointment for my flu shot and was still made to wait a half an hour for no good reason, with an attitude to boot. I was also made to stand in the aisle waiting, instead of being able to sit down when no one else was getting shots. No like a dog go stand in aisle 12 and stand there till we tell you otherwise. Awful and rude. If they had given me an explanation or had at least been polite, it would have been annoying but acceptable. But the rudeness and just being told I would have to wait in a doctor's office too is unacceptable. They need to learn some customer service. I also have previously called them with a question about my medication. Forget trying to get ahold of the pharmacy. They don't even bother to answer the phone. I heard it ringing and ringing too when I was there in person, and despite at least 4 women working, not 1 bothered to pick up the phone. read more

This is the worst CVS in the neighborhood... The workers at the register are always rude and no one want to help get out the locked up items like toothbrushes... I recently did an online pickup order the cashier made a simple process of picking up so difficult the only thing she didn't ask for was my social security number... I'm spending my money at the store why don't you want to hand over my order?????? Where to begin? I went to my 63rd St store only to find it shuttered. They are sending customers to this location. Disorganized to the point of appearing dirty. Just out of control. Poorly, unevenly stocked shelves. At checkout the the checkout area a complete mess. No one to check me out - I ask the manager is someone working the register - he replies: no we want people to use the self check out. I don't know if it's just this CVS Pharmacy or all of them, but if you get a text message/email stating your medication is ready for pick up, don't believe it. You HAVE to call them and make sure it's ready. I would call in a week before. Usually they'll have it in stock within 3 days, but a week to be safe. And expect long wait times. If you live close by or passing through, go there in person to see if you can get it early or if they can put in the request. read more

My first time visiting this particular location. It's a little smaller I feel than most other CVS's. Same basic set up as most CVS stores, as far as what the aisles have and the order they are in. The staff here were nice enough and I was in and out of the store. They are in a convenient location, right out the subway entrance. Parking is tough here and they don't have a lot here. read more

Came in and asked to use the bathroom but two staff members said it was out of order..which is illegal (sec 492) cuz they're a pharmacy so I know they have a working bathroom but refuse to let customers in. I know this because when I asked about the bathroom, the pharmacy staff member walked around to ask the pharmacist if they should let me in. She told me she needed to ask first. Very rude cashiers over here. I was on queue and I approached two of them by the cashier and asked, "Are you ready " as they were apparently chatting at 630 pm rush hour. The response was, " no I'm still with him" referring to her fellow employee while attempting to open a gum". Long story short, attitude towards customers is very undesirable. CVS is now in Forest Hills' Queens Boulevard, store # 5830. This location is new and fairly large. Formerly a local dry cleaner that previously inhabited this space, now in 2014 there are no visible signs. This location sits directly in the destruction path of the raging Queens Boulevard. Having a store coupon, I decided to use it. Despite of being a newly built and open to the public, this location does not have computerized self checkout stations but only traditional human cashiers. Space is large inside with ample room to navigate between aisles. This location has signage visible at the cashier and at the pre-paid card centers to alert the public of recent fraudulent scams with MoneyPak Green Dot. I wish I saw these written notices issued by the NY Police Department as I would not have become a victim, but it is too late now. Customer service here is so bad. The front section of the store got a little better, but the staff often looks annoyed and upset. And this store has minimal products. The staff in the pharmacy is very rude. Also they ask for personal information out loud with people around; I guess HIPPA policy is waived and not necessary here. You speak to them and they just look right through you and mumble under the breath when responding. I asked for a worker's assistance about price of my Rx, and saw that she was with a customer but she had just taken my info., so I asked as soon as she could after her, could she help and she said she would assist... then just completely ignored and walked away. I wanted to know price in case I couldn't pick up today rather than wait the 10-15 minutes for nothing. The pharmacy staff is very unprofessional. Another worker kept looking at me and when I looked back her way, she would lower her gaze or look somewhere else. So odd and such an uncomfortable experience. read more

Poorly Run - Lines are out of control. Pharmacist consistently and constantly violate patients HIPPA rights. Would avoid - Because at this place, you have no privacy. Everyone on line will know what medication you are taking. This is not cool at all. They have children working behind the counter @ the Pharmacy. Disgraceful! They said they ran out of a particular medicine - which is first of all, very concerning because it's quite common. But what they did next (and also did to the mom in line of ahead of me) was stupefying. They proceeded to tell us it was backordered and that we were "on our own" to find a pharmacy that had it stocked. That we had to all around until we found a pharmacy and then make that pharmacy call THEM. With a sick kid in tow. CVS, can't believe you won't do the legwork of actually locating a pharmacy that has the medication and sending the prescription over. Or at least offer to send it once we've located an alternate place. It's appalling that you would put that on the sick customer. To make matters worse, it was a huge cluster actually getting the prescription fed over correctly and it wasn't faxed promptly. I'm really irritated. Would not suggest getting your prescriptions here. read more

As soon as you enter you are welcomed by a looong line of people waiting to check out. A greeter will say hello to you long after you've walked by them. This is located very conveniently by the subway station. All CVS have pretty much the same products to offer so there is no rating on that lol but when I was checking out, the cashier we ran into was super nice. She gave us such a warm welcome and goodbye. I don't remember her name though unfortunately.. but she was awesome! While we were waiting in line, we saw how friendly she was to every single person, which was nice to see! The worst customer service I have experienced. I was on the phone for 5 hours for 5 days and nobody is picking up. I drop by twice to cancel the refill cause my provider made mistake, the tech on pick up counter, after lining up for 30 minutes, hoping she can assist me , refer me to the other counter and let me line again for the other counter. It's so inefficient. One time , when I pick up my medication, the line was long, but the tech are just chatting and so insensitive of the time of people in line. Unfortunately, the customer service at this location is horrible. The employees who work by the registers are nice, however the management is not. I had recently had to go through a lot of personal humiliation just trying to resolve the issue with the defective product I purchased. I had a receipt for the product recently purchased, however manager, Robin, refused to either exchange or return the defective product. I was surprised to see this kind of attitude from the manager who should have recieved the proper training about basic customer service. read more
