I came today with two of my kids and had them pick a gift for their mom I went in and got the gift with a wrapping paper before paying I asked the girl if I will be able to borrow Caesars and tape to pack it nicely she kindly said yes, after I paid she went looking and came back saying she can give me only the tape and she don't have Caesars I was not able to pack it and give the gift from the kids to their mom I would want them to be more serious and give the right answers not just to make a customer buy it and then tell him they don't have it + I was with row small kids Hope they will get better for next time read more

Pharmacist incredibly rude - she actually smirked at me when reading off the reason my prescription was rejected, and then just stared at me until I left. Before I was "helped", I could also clearly hear her talking to another customer about private health issues. I love that there is a CVS near this busy area because previously the closest CVS was on Metropolitan Ave. This is a relatively new CVS so it might take more time for it to develop into a full fledged CVS with self checkout and such. The location is huge and very convenient. It's right off the subway station. It also looks very nice and new and not grimy like other locations. The shelves are well stocked. There is a functioning coupon machine in the front and a small cooler with foods on the side. The pharmacy is located in the back and there is a small photo area by the register. I've had my photos developed here a handful of times. They have yet to master a working process with developing photos. I've had my photos not developed even though I get a confirmation email saying they're done, I've received someone else's photos, I've had photos developed twice...anyway I don't really trust them with photos anymore... But I still love the convenient location and the service is always really friendly. I've been asked numerous times if I need help finding things and I love how empty the CVS is too. My two wishes - that they become 24 hours like the nearby Duane Reade and they add more people to work the register to make up for the lack of self checkout machines. read more

The workers are young and don't know what they are doing, which begs the question should I be taking medication from here. They said they never received the prescription but after some searching they did. They didn't apologize despite I making a call to the doctor on a Friday night. CVS has a police that you can not use a coupon for an item on sale- every frequent CVS shopper knows this. Now, I went to this CVS to buy Qtips which were on sale buy one get the second 50% off. I didint want two Qtips I wanted ones box and to use my 20% off coupon. The cashier and manager wouldn't let me use my coupon for an this single item that I did not want to purchase on sale. I was so livid. They should close this CVS location to prevent CVS from getting a bad reputation. Every other CVS is so nice and would manually input the coupon anyway, the one further down queens blvd near knew gardens offered me 50% off for my bad experience at this location. I will not go here again, I will continue to go to the one near my office on Long Island or walk to the nice one on 78th & queens blvd. read more

I went to buy migraine gel patch called "Be Kool" at CVS. I couldn't find it, so I asked the pharmacists, no the cashier, and three pharmacists made faces like "there's no such things" and told me "sorry we don't have that kind of stuff." I showed the picture of the particular product on my phone and said "this is the thing I am lookIng for and it exists. Too bad pharmacists don't know." This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with a pharmacy. I told my dentist to transfer my prescription from Walgreens to CVS since it was closer to home so I arrived to be serviced by a young lady. I was told my insurance doesn't accept CVS. That's fine so I requested that they transfer my prescription to Walgreens instead since I had just filled a prescription there the prior week with my insurance. She said they were backed up and it would take about an hour to do the transfer. I then asked if I should just contact my dentist directly so I wouldn't have to wait and she told me the transfer needed to be done at the pharmacy. She then told me that she would text me when the transfer was complete. So I went home and 1 1/2 hrs later I did not receive a text or call so I called the pharmacy. The girl then tells me that she's going to transfer my prescription to rite aid instead and when I asked her why she told me that Walgreens wouldn't take my insurance even though I already mentioned that they took my insurance just a week prior. She also said that since it's a new script i would need to contact my dentist directly to do the transfer. When I asked her why she didn't contact me since she had already contacted everyone she said she called and left a message. I had my phone on me the whole time waiting for the text message and received zero calls or messages. At that point I was fed up and just called my dentist. They told me I should have just contacted them directly and they took care of it right away. I went to Walgreens and they had my prescription prepared in less than 5 minutes and I ended up paying $5 instead of $50. There were multiple points in that whole transaction where the CVS pharmacy rep. could have resolved the situation quickly (told me to call the dentist directly, left a text saying that they could not complete the transfer) but instead tried to pass blame. That is just a waste of her and my own time. I will not be using that pharmacy again. This review is for the pharmacy specifically and not the store as a whole. first, this place is disorganized. I called in for my prescription, the guy was slow. also, he said my prescription is not covered. and I said how much , then I asked him if he can call my doctor or the insurance as well he said he cant that's not his job . when actually it is his job to call the doctor and also call my insurance. Duane Reade and Walgreens do it for you when an issue occurs. then he mentions its only 2.00 . wow, 2.00 dollar is nothing he made it seem it was over 50 dollars. this is not the first time i have encountered the pharmacist to be slow over here. they need new people who know what they're doing. read more

This CVS just recently opened. Everyone working there is very friendly. The cashiers greet you when you come in. People stocking the shelves will ask if you need any help. Much roomier, cleaner, and more organized than the Kew Garden location. read more

Twice within the past 30 days I have had items not bagged. In December I bought a $50 gift card, and when I got home I realized it was not with the other items. Luckily I live just down the block and returned immediately. And this week I purchased a hair product that was also not bagged. I'm guessing if I wasn't so distracted with getting my CVS card to scan and my wallet out I'd have noticed. But that isn't my job. I managed to get to card back immediately even though they didn't ask for a proof of payment. But with the hair product, I unfortunately did not realize until late and I went first thing in the morning to complain. I didn't have my receipt, I just want them to know that if they are quietly holding items for their own use, then that's quite a scam when they look for distracted customers. Either go on line with money and CVS card ready in your hands, or do as I choose- go back to Duane Reade and/ or Rite Aid for your needed items. Daniela , the store manager has been working there for years, and it's quite obvious that store doesn't care about customer service. She forgot to bag my hair product, and some young man was the one who may have intended to hold onto my gift card. They're banking on people's distractions. read more

The WORST pharmacy ever. Out of stock on lots of things, and the staff is nonexistent. There is zero organization around the cash registers, and typically only one cashier working. Every time I stop in, without fail, there is a line of customers stretching towards the back of the store, and the cashiers seem to have no urgency. A customer could have 3 items and for some reason it takes the cashier forever to complete the transaction. Either they're distracted, talking to another employee, texting, or just plain don't give a shit. Location is super convenient, but you're better off walking across the street and going to Walgreens. I stopped in cvs to buy a bottle of water the other day and it took 15 minutes. Ridiculous. Avoid this place if at all possible. read more

Pharmacy department is moderately busy. It can use some training on prioritizing, time management, or even some level of courtesy. One worker seemed disgruntled but still did the job...slowly. I had couple visits each with over a 30 min wait time and still walked out with nothing. Now I'm disgruntled and curious to try the nearby pharmacies. read more

This pharmacy is the worst hey are extremely nasty and almost charged me without having my insurance information. The person behind the counter was very nasty and when I complained nothin was done and she continued to talk back to me. I will never go back to this CVS again. Awful awful experience!!! Ordered one hour photos the day before and go in to pick them up and they weren't ready. Okay, no big deal it was just a few 4x6s and that wouldn't take long. Was told to come back in ten minutes. Come back in ten minutes and they didn't even start my photos. They go to start them and now there is a paper jam. At this point another woman walks in behind me saying she ordered her photos yesterday as well and received an email that they were ready. Hers were actually printed but they couldn't find them so she would have to wait as well after mine were done. Another 30 minutes go by and they're moving at a snails pace basically just starring at the printer in hopes that it'll start working. The woman that was behind me left. I couldn't wait I needed these photos as they were gifts for a party I was on my way to. The worker said that it's not going to be working soon and to go somewhere else. After a total hour of waiting I walked out with nothing. Most ridiculous thing I have even been through as many places have the machines that just print them out automatically off the kiosks. Simply the worst CVS I have ever gone to. The management needs to be replaced, I intend to call their regional manager and complain. They usually have one untrained person who barely speaks English and cannot figure out how to use the register. The lines are too long. The shelves are not stocked well. I went in to buy a lot of supplies for a camping trip and when I got to the front there was one register open, as usual. I went to the front of the line and dumped my stuff in front and walked out, this was not the first time I had to do that, I went to Dwayne Reade and the service was superior in every way. People, lets avoid this store and drive them out of business. Forest Hills deserves good stores with good customer service. CVS would do better to focus on customer service rather than not selling cigarettes. read more

So this is a brand new store and the people are lovely and so is the size of the store. Now for the frustrating parts. I went in with 2 prescriptions to fill thinking I would give the new store a chance at some of my business. The girl informed me they didn't have one of them, so that is the end of that part of the business. It wasn't such a complicated prescription, it was cough medicine. I went to my usual store down the road- Walgreens and had both of them filled promptly. Then I also kept checking on one of the sale items this week. I must have been in there 4 times for it. Even after the truck supposedly came they, still didn't have it. i went to the CVS on Metropolitan Avenue, where they had a full supply of the item. This CVS drugstore has the worst prescription drug prices anywhere. I chose this CVS because it was the preferred drugstore with my insurance plan. I was charged $126 for a medication that I later discovered is sold at COSTCO pharmacy for only $17 without the plan. WOW. What a rip off. Do not buy your drugs at CVS. read more

I have been in this store for a few quick transactions which were fine... My one star review comes from today's visit. All I wanted to do was get a 4x6 photo print. It took about 10 mins to get the order placed on their kiosk because they were having issues with their Internet. OK... That can happen. But then the picture doesn't print out. The clerk are over to check the machine and said it needed ink. She would go get some... Apparently they keep it in a far away place that is difficult to get to, because it took her forever. When she returned instead of loading up the machine, she assisted someone who had just walked in asking for a passport picture. When I questioned the manager standing there, she said the clerk would take care of it after... I'm thinking he's going to have to have his picture printed too so what the heck. She finally changed out everything and still could not get it to work... All of this I normally can handle... But this person moved so slowly! I guess she figured if she had to be there all day why hurry. She suggested I start the process again! I finally just left to go get it printed at another "fast print" shop! read more
