My first visit was amazing, and I was extremely happy with how the gentleman did my nails. He was phenomenal he took his time, paid attention to detail, and really executed the service beautifully. That experience is actually what made me want to come back. My appointment today was at 3:35 PM. I was seated around 3:40 PM, and by 3:50 PM -- literally 10 minutes later -- my pedicure was finished. My gel polish was removed, my toenails were painted white with another gel color, and that was basically it. I understand that a gel polish change can be quicker than a full pedicure, but 10 minutes felt incredibly rushed. There was very little attention to detail she didn't file them down or shape them, and while my toenails look okay, are they perfect? Absolutely not. You can tell this was a rushed job, and my biggest concern is honestly how long the polish is going to last. The checkout experience also left me uncomfortable. After I paid my total, the woman checking me out immediately gave me her Venmo information. I had to ask her twice, "What are you saying?" before I understood that she was asking me to Venmo a tip. It felt like the tip was being assumed rather than simply presented as an option. I still left a $5 tip because, personally, even when I'm unhappy with a service, I don't believe in not tipping at all. But the interaction itself was uncomfortable. I want to be fair because I will give Bella Vista one more try. However, next time, I will specifically make sure that the gentleman who did my nails during my first visit takes care of me. He was amazing. He took his time, he was meticulous, and he executed the service beautifully. That is the level of service that made me want to return in the first place. I really hope management understands that quality and consistency matter, especially when a customer is returning because they had such a positive first experience. I'm willing to give the salon another chance, but I definitely hope my next visit feels more like my first one.

I went from disliking to really hating the results in other places. I called Jojoba Nails and asked if they had this service, for I had only done gel with them in the past. They gave me an appointment and accommodated to my complicated schedule. I have to say that I LOVE THE RESULT!! I had picked a different color first, but after I saw how it looked on my nails, I didn't like it so I asked if they could remove it from the first few nails and change to a different color. They agreed and immediately brought me the color palette to chose another color. This is the end result and I couldn't be happier.

The quality is inconsistent and mediocre at best, so I don't know why I have contined to give them so many chances. My gel pedicure appointment last weekend and it was the last straw. It was, by far, the worst nail service I have ever had. Even though I tried to ask questions of the tech and very politely asked that she give more attention to the areas around my toes (not callouses on my heels or balls of my feet), because every pedicure I have gotten included this attention to detail. She seemed annoyed and had to call Grace over to see if I was just being a pain or if my requests were justified. Next, came the hiddeous shade of nail polish that I am most certain now was expired. I thought the shade would improve with added coats, but it definitely didn't. She also claimed that she did the three coats of polish, despite the inconsistent appearance. It was already too awkward to try to ask Grace for help, so I just left and now have to pay again for the service to be corrected by another salon. I genuinely wish Grace would better train these young women and give them name tags so they arent treated like invisible servants.

Pay and tip wherever you like -- but don't risk your safety here. Stay far away. A business that treats paying customers like criminals doesn't deserve customers at all. At every step she engaged with me, and she and her husband were so kind. I keep hopping to different salons because it feels so impersonal and disrespectful sometimes. Where you feel like a number or a nuisance just by being there. Not in this salon. All of the customers there were treated with the same respect and kindness. They also called us all by our first names to say goodbye. I will learn their names next time because I'm definitely coming back. And not to mention they lean towards the low-toxic products, and knew all about the new concerns about toxic gel products that have been in the news lately.
