French bakery in Kanab. Just realized likely it's owned by the French restaurant that we totally loved. I gave the restaurant an superb review. So looking for pastries and breakfast at Kanab, saw this place. Coffee was good. Place was busy as the only real coffee shop in Kanab. A bit disappointed with the pastries and sandwiches we got. We have been to a lot of French bakeries and this one was just ok.

Small bakery. Lines move fast. Italian frittata: cheesy flavored egg omelet. Yummy and great tastes. Piperade Basquaise: 4 stars. delicious. Bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions had great flavors. I wished they gave you 2 pieces of bread because for this dish, one piece of bread is not enough. Peach almond pastry: 4 a light flavors, crunchy texture outside, soft texture inside. Not too sweet. Bacon lettuce tomato sandwich: 4 stars. Tastes great but for a big croissant there was only 2 slices of bacon. Wished they added more bacon cause for 1/2 of the croissant you were eating bread and tomatoes and lettuce. Salami and provolone: hubby tried it and liked it.

Try the Ham & Cheese Croissant with a Vanilla Iced Latte anticipate a pricey breakfast though. The ham & cheese croissant is $9 on its own as of June 2022. We got 3 different pastries to try, two iced lattes (iced lattes are 16oz only, $4.75) & our total was around $35.

If you're in Kanab, you need to drop by this bakery. The food is simple, but well prepared and delicious, justifying the lines it can build out the door. Small interior where you order but a couple outside tables and a separate large interior seating area to hang out. Parking lot is small so you may need to get a short walk in if coming during a busy time.

Sadly, the kitchen is closed...

I was planning to get brunch here, but sadly the kitchen is closed. Only pastries and cold sandwiches were being served. I ordered an americano, and it tasted good. Staff is friendly. Three out of the 4 stars are for the services. While I was waiting for my drink, a family of 4 came in for food, but kitchen is closed. The barista offered them help by directing them to different places for food. This was excellent service on behalf of the staff, even though the family did not purchase food from this bakery.

European baked goods are delicious!

Great place for breakfast! The Denali was amazing! Their Quiche Lorraine delicious! Don't miss their European baked goods, either. The Kouign Amann is a buttery, chewy, and crispy-on-the-outside pastry that should not be missed!

We have been going around supporting various local businesses during our vacation and came here based on the excellent Yelp reviews. Big mistake. Out of the numerous places we visited, I've never received such atrocious service. I hate leaving a 1 star during Covid but the service here needs to be addressed. The staff just looked like they wanted to get out of there and we were inconveniencing them at 2:30 PM when their store hours say they close at 5:00 PM. No eye contact when talking to us, no smiles, an impatient tone of voice, and to top it off she just left our bag on the counter behind their Mickey moused partition and walked away from us without handing us our order. I had to reach around and grab my bag. Horrendous and super rude. I would have been okay with horrible service if the food made up for it but the cannoli was not good at all- bland and flavorless- meh! The croissants were decent but with this kind of service, they ain't that good. My husband's coffee was okay. Average products sold with a sour attitude. We should have asked for our money back and walked out. We plan on returning to Kanab, but not here. Hope everyone else gets better service than we did.

Cute little spot to grab a morning pastry. Didn't try a coffee but did try two of their pastries and if I was in town longer would've tried all of them. We choose the pumpkin almond pastry and the chocolate palmier. The palmier was INCREDIBLE, popping with chocolate flavor and was a little crunchy but also so soft on the inside. The pump king almond was just okay, it had a great texture and great almond flavor but it was completely missing the pumpkin flavor. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be coming back to try more pastries, you can tell everything is homemade and they take time to make sure every pastry is delicious.

A great selection of pastries

This is a rare opportunity to get delicious pastries and bread in Kanab. They have coffee, breakfast and sandwiches that are all delicious! Staffing is short so be prepared to wait.

First class all the way. We stopped to grab a "to go" lunch on our drive to Zion. The place was really inviting (even the bathroom). Loved the menu and it was hard to land a decision on a sandwich. Neither of us were disappointed. I went with the Kanabian ($11) and it was fantastic.....of course the bread (duh - bakery :) made it a winner. My bride went with Gracie's delight ($11) and also really enjoyed it. Everything about the place was excellent....including the little touches like the side selections, napkins, to go containers etc. Just can't say enough good things about our experience.

Really enjoyed the sandwiches from here! The portion is generous and it was flavorful with the condiments they added. the salad was fresh and light. It has a cute patio outside that gets busy around lunchtime. I'm looking forward to eating here again when we are in Kanab in July.

Best coffee. Best Pastries. Very cute coffee shop with great customer service. We stopped by Kanab creek bakery today and we loved all the pastries we purchased. Fresh and yummy. The lady that rang me up today was very sweet. Great customer service. We will definitely come back one more time before we leave Kanab.

Really enjoyed this place while in town hiking. Great breakfast. The lines can get long when they open but one of the best options in town.

It was THE best strawberry/oreo milkshake I'd ever had. Waited three years to make it back here and it's STILL the best strawberry/oreo shake I've ever had but we also got burgers and fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. I had the cheeseburger with everything and husband got the Rustler burger with no onions. Burgers were hot and delicious. Bun wasn't soggy. Meat to bread to veg ratio was excellent. The fries were hot and crispy but still meaty. Fry sauce is a must. I'll be honest that we've been on the road living like nomads for over 6 months. I have had way more pizza, tacos and burgers than I can count so I am quite frankly, a little sick and tired of burgers. But this was absolutely worth it. And you know it's good when half the town was here for dinner. 2 large shakes, 2 burgers, large fry, large drink $28. Literally can't beat that. Would highly recommend.

Can't go wrong with what we ordered. The seating was booth seating. It was clean. A bit noisy. But that didn't bother us as everyone was enjoying their meals and having a great time.

My husband and I, traveling from Texas to Kanab, decided to stop for dinner at this place…read morerecommended by my husband (he used to work in Kanab many years ago). The restaurant was packed, so I was thrilled to try the food. As soon as I tasted the salsa, I couldn't help but tell my husband that this place was legit. I opted for the combo plate, featuring two enchiladas, one with chicken and green sauce, and the other with ground beef and red sauce, alongside a chile relleno. When I took my first few bites, I was transported back to the kitchen of an old Mexican friend. She used to make chile relleno and enchiladas that were an exact replica of Escobar's. The flavors were so authentic that I couldn't believe it! The overall experience was not only about the food but also the warm and friendly atmosphere. Dahlia, our waitress, the owner, the servers, and the woman at the checkout counter all exuded kindness and hospitality. It felt like we were in someone's home, enjoying a meal that filled our souls with joy. I'm already craving this place, and wish they would move to Texas. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

Anyway, these folks were really nice, typical Mexican fare, great flavors. I had the chile relleno & chicken enchilada. They make the sauce to cover the relleno with huge chunks of tomato, so that added a big hearty flavor, which I really liked. Plenty to eat, constant refills of my ice tea & everyone in there was very happy. A great place & one to revisit.

So I appreciate the familiar friend when the craving hits. Unfortunately, the order that I placed and the food that I received was not quite what I expected and I didn't notice until I'd driven away (my mistake, but I didn't check my food prior to leaving.) However, I want to share a minor encounter here. When my wife and I pulled into the drive thru, we were asked to wait a moment before placing our order. After a minute or two of silence, I had a surprise sneeze attack. After I finished up the nonsense, I kind voice came over the loudspeaker and said "bless you." Even though they got my order a bit wrong (it happens, no biggie), I appreciate the blessings upon my allergies. I look back on that interaction with a smile... and that's even better than the right order.

We stopped here at lunchtime, passing through, just to try the returning snack wraps. The place was packed, yet no one was working the counter. Only one two-sided kiosk was open, and there was a line on both sides. It took about 15 minutes to get our food. The fries were barely hot. My husband's ranch chicken snack wrap had chewy chicken. Mine was okay--but only okay. The wrap itself was way too big for the chicken, completely throwing off the balance. And the price doesn't help: a combo meal with two wraps, fries, and a drink ran about $10 each. Just not worth it. Prices here are up, quality is down, and service is slow. Right next door, there's a great local burger joint we've enjoyed before--go there instead. Don't waste your time at this McDonald's.
