This Pizza Hut location is horrible! We stopped in late one night on our way to Lake Powell for a simple medium sized pizza. The man taking our order offered us a deal which was more food than what we wanted, but stated that it was a better price. When it came time to pay, the price went up from our original choice. We haggled a bit, and he had to redo the order. This is definitely a 'bait and switch' operation in my opinion. The other alarming issue was he told us that he couldn't take our money(we paid in cash) at the register he rang us up on, so we moved to another register which he didn't use to ring us up. He took the cash with no receipt given which leads me to think he just pocketed it. Lastly, the pizza took 30-45 minutes to come out even though we were the only ones in the restaurant, and it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten! It had no flavor with the consistency of cardboard. When we asked for red peppers and Parmesan cheese, they told us that we have to buy them for $1 each. Really?! I'll try and make it short, but it will certainly not be sweet: We ordered a "Thin 'n Crispy" Veggie Pizza online for drive through pick up (gave a 20% gratuity). Waited for Pizza Hut's online web counter to count down to zero. Went to pick up pizza. Waited in the Pick-up lane. Got to the Pick-up window. Took them five minutes to even FIND my online order, of which they hadn't even BEGUN to make. No "sorry", and no explanation given at all. I began to get a little annoyed. Then they told me to wait out front and they'd bring out the pizza in "five minutes." I waited for twenty minutes out front, getting further annoyed. No one came out, so I went in. I asked for my pizza. It was in the re-heater. It had been finished, who knows when, but they just didn't bother to take it outside to my truck to give it to me. No apologies, no explanation, just confused looks. I got REALLY mad. I left, never to return ever again. (Review of the actual pizza: The "Veggie Lover's Thin 'n Crispy Pizza" was, technically, a "pizza". And it was thin, and it had veggies on it, but it was soggy and FAR from "crispy." We live in AZ and were visiting Kanab as a hub for daytime excursions. My husband had a craving for pizza.... This restaurant is one you walk into and sense immediately that it's filthy. But you hope for the best because, hey, it's Pizza Hut! And maybe the kitchen is cleaner than the lobby.... We hopefully placed our order and took a seat. Twenty minutes later I proceeded to the counter to ask about our order. The man sitting behind the cash register asked the chef about our order, to which she replied "just a minute." Five minutes later he asked again, since I remained standing in front of him, and got the same response. A few minutes later I pointed out to the guy that people who ordered after we did were half-finished with their dinner, so once again he asked the cooks. A different guy went looking and found our lukewarm pizza, which had been sitting there on the counter in the kitchen. My husband said let's just get out of here--and he had pizza, but what a disappointment!!! If I could say negative stars I would, I am on vacation at my daughters house we decided to do a quick delivery from pizza hut, put the order in at 5:30 spent 90 dollars we were told to 25 minutes after an hour my daughter called again to be told the order was out for delivery, our location is 1/2 mile from the store. After 45 minutes passed she again called to be told the order was delivered, still no food just 3 hungry grandchildren when she talked to the general manager Melinda, she was informed " they had 20 pizzas to make" our order was made to be unimportant and then we got I will just refund the money and slammed the phone down. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. After a long day of driving, we placed an order for carry out. A simple order, just some wings and a small pizza. I got there when the email said the order would be ready and then had to wait for 10 minutes before they bothered to come to the front. It wasn't busy, I was the only person in there. After 10 minutes, they finally come to the front and tell me they gave our order to someone else and that now we would need to wait another 15 minutes or they could refund us. No amends for making me wait an extra 30 minutes from when the food was supposed to be ready. It really shouldn't be this hard. read more

The pizza is just like any other Pizza Hut, but the service is lacking for sure. I've had pizza not show up because my order was lost. I've had portions of my order missing. I've had cold pizza delivered. If you dine in, service is not any better. You usually will not get acknowledged, even though they gave a sign that says "wait here to be seated", you will wait forever, so you just need to walk up to the take out counter to be seated. I do still eat Pizza Hut from time to time because they are the only place that will deliver in Kanab. I've heard they have changed management a few times. The last few deliveries have been spot on, so I'm hoping things are looking better. read more

First and foremost, I would like to commend the Christmas Eve staff! They were great! We walked in around 6:30pm and it was so busy. There were orders needed to be taken, all sorts of food in the making, and seating and cleaning up tables. We tried three other restaurants before and although they had seats, they said food and service would not be available for 30-45 minutes. We waited a few minutes before our order was taken and then sat down. We thought with all the customers that we would have to wait 30 minutes for our pizza as well but surprisingly, it came out quickly after 20ish minutes! Terrible service, we walked out after 30 minutes. Another group of 5 did too, said they'd ordered but then after an hour still no food came. But I don't blame the poor workers; this was clearly a management problem. Workers need training on how to balance web orders and in person customers. The workers had no idea, and just mostly ignored the in person customers. One girl working there looked like she was going to start crying. The waiter (only one) had no sequence, just frazzled. They would shout at people waiting to be seated "our kitchen is backed up an hour". Manager, please train your employees. I manage a busy business too. The kids are young and need guidance. Teach them how to prioritize. And if you need to close the dining room to new customers due to being backed up, just do that. That's better than the chaos and lack of service we saw tonight. read more

The pizza and service here were both great! We enjoyed our three large pizzas that came out hot and fresh in pretty good time! Now I will agree with the other reviews that the bathrooms and salad bar are pretty dang bad, but that's not really what you're coming to Pizza Hut for in the first place. Here for a weekend trip and didn't know most restaurants are closed on Sundays. Please avoid what my husband and I did, call Pizza Hut. It ain't gonna happen. You got three 17 year olds working there and 30 people waiting . Don't order from here if you actually want a pizza. I placed an order on their website at 7pm, was given a two hour wait, tried to call and cancel, then no one answered. I decided to wait and received notification of pending delivery, yet no pizza arrived. I called and Kristin answered and told me it should be there within ten minutes. 30 minutes later I called back and when there was no update I asked for a refund. I was asked if I was a local. When I said no I was put on hold for ten minutes. I called back and they had no idea what I had ordered or how I could receive a refund without giving them my credit card number again. We are passing through Kanab for the night and staying at the Quality Inn next door. I ordered our pizzas via the app and it said 20 min so perfect! We popped in and found out our pizzas would be a little longer. The app completely messed them up and it said 20 min but that was not the correct time for a busy Friday night. I wish I got the name of the lady at the front but she was super nice even though I can tell she was rushing trying to get all the orders completed with her team. The food was about what you'd expect from Pizza Hut. Pizza was pretty good, made great leftovers the next day. The food came out at a relatively moderate time. The service was strange though. Dirty tables behind us weren't cleaned the entire time we were there. Our table was dirty until the server used a very wet cloth to wipe it down with water, leaving us with a soaking wet table we had to dry ourselves with napkins. We didn't get silverware until we asked, and didn't get straws at all, which was not great since the cups looked kinda gross. The whole time there were multiple people milling about outside the window where our table was, looking like they lived in their beat up cars.
