Management is incredibly unprofessional & rude. Came in to grab some food and charge our devices while on a road trip. We bought a sandwich and then went to plug everything in and a manager came up to us saying we couldn't do that even after purchasing our food. He was VERY rude and after reasoning for a while, he started cursing at us. I understand having policies, but if there is a charging station, expect people to charge things. read more

Today we went to Zion and I was feeling peckish. I am not a fan of subway but I thought I will give it a go. I entered the subway and was greeted by a vibrant lovely sweet lady named Cristina. I asked her to make me a sandwich with whatever she wanted. And no word of a lie, but best subway sandwich I have ever had. Cristina made my day and entertained us with great hospitality. I am a regular customer of Subway sandwich shops. They are very consistent across the board, even in different states. That being said, the service aspect depends very much on which store you are at. In this case, Springdale Utah, literally right outside the main gates to enter Zion NP. I happen to live in Springdale, about 1.5 miles from this location and wanted to get something quick and easy on a Thursday evening. I walked in and was the only person in the place. There were three fellas working at the time. One of them greeted me and then went about his business. I walked up to the spot at the counter where you start your order and eventually one of them acknowledged me standing there. I ordered a chicken and bacon ranch footlong and he started making it. At that point, the other worker started having a personal conversation with the fellow making my sandwich. Asking him about what he was doing on a particular day and about his workout routine, etc. Not necessarily the biggest issue, but it was distracting him as he was making my sandwich. I then watched him put the absolute minimum amount of sprinkled cheese on it. Way less than the usual amount. Also, they usually ask if you want it toasted or not. He did not ask, so I told him I wanted it toasted and he did it. Then we moved on to the veggies, etc. and they continued their conversation simultaneously. Not the biggest issue in the world to me, but realistically, It takes about two minutes to make most of their sandwiches. Common sense would tell you to wait to have your personal conversations until you are done helping the customers. The idle employee should have had the common sense not to start a personal conversation with a coworker who was already busy helping a customer. The worker assisting me, should have had enough good judgement to not allow himself to be involved in a personal conversation while he was face to face with a customer. Unfortunately, neither of them seemed to have the slightest concern about the customer experience. I don't want to hear about your gym experience while you are preparing my food incorrectly! And when you consider that my one sandwich cost $19.30, with the tax. This is a single chicken sub, for 20 bucks?? For that much money, you can order a meal at a sit down restaurant and be served by a waiter. I know this is a tourist town, with Subway as the only "fast food" option, so they probably don't care much about getting repeat business, but you would think that you could at least have their full attention for the two minutes that you are in their faces. As far as I know, there is the only fast food chain restaurant in Springdale unless I missed another place. It's your typical Subways so it's a great spot to pick up a sandwich for a picnic somewhere in the park. This Subways shares the same space with a pizza restaurant so you can get pizza while your friends get Subways. I'm local and I have never complained about one of our restaurants, but my experience at Subway was ridiculous. I don't often eat out because the food in Springdale is expensive and the wages are low, but every once in a while I will. I went to this subway to get a sandwich, and asked for a philly. He put the meat on (which I couldn't see because it was behind oven) and then went and checked and told me we are out of the cheese sauce. I asked if I could pick a different sandwich and he said, "no I already put the meat on". I said 'ok then can I pick provolone?' He put it on, heated it up and when he slid the sand which over to the veces you cloud clearly see there was barely any meat on it. in fact a good 2" on both ends had no meat at all. I said "there's not much meat on there at all, can you put more"? He replied "no I put 2 scoops on it.". I have had this same sandwich multiple times at other subways and I have never had so little meat put on. Kerp in mind Springdale prices are inflated because it's a tourist town, but $15 for basically a vege sandwich with a couple tablespoons of meat? I was pissed! I said nothing, I stayed polite, but this is BAD business and rotten to the customer already paying inflated prices. I would warn you about wasting your money here. If I was going to pay this much again I would go to a real restaurant where I can get a hot sandwich and fries for the same cost. We were at St Marks Hospital for a doctor's appointment. Afterwards we had to wait for a travel van which was going take a few minutes so we got a turkey sub at the Subway downstairs. It was toasted and flavorful. There is not a lot of space there so I assume most orders are take out. Glad for this option at this location. read more

I hardly ever give negative reviews but this one is well deserved. Never have I experienced such garbage service/food from a fast food chain, or really any establishment. They had plenty of employees working yet the wait was unnecessarily long despite not having a long line of customers. Why? Because half the staff had no idea what they were doing and on top of incompetence, they had terrible attitude. No friendliness whatsoever, not even basic politeness. The girl who made my turkey wrap was absolutely clueless and didn't even know how to properly wrap it in the end. She sloppily dumped everything in there and used way too much dressing. The wrap was also so dry and stiff that it started to crack. Did she ask for assistance despite having numerous other staff around? Nope. I ended up eating most of this "wrap"with a fork and knife. And by the way, this meal with a drink and chips was $17. Subway is probably the largest global fast food franchise and of the many I'd visited over the years (let's be honest, we've all gotten subway from time to time), service has always been efficient and professional. What went wrong with this location??? Not only is everything way overpriced because it's in Zion, they can't even perform basic duties. Zion Subway: Please train your employees!!! It is right outside the Zion National Park. Great location. My partner and I shared a foot long steak sub. The steak was a little dry. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the lunch looking at the great view in front. it was not crowded and there was outside seating. It was great during this pandemic time. I recommend it! read more

This place must be a gold mine! When we went the line was 25 people deep. Located smack across from the entrance to Zion they have a captive audience. Wish there were more staff working to move through the line quicker but the staff was friendly enough and seemed to be doing their best. Of all the places we visited during our stay in S.Utah, this Subway was a stand out...weird, right?...most Subways are like being in the Twilight Zone, but this place has got it's act together and does a good job of processing some mammoth orders for folk who are headed for Zion NP...good job guys!! read more

My sandwich was soggy beyond belief. Fatty meats, wilted lettuce, watered down condiments and soggy bread. The whole thing was road kill. Do not eat there you will be very disappointed. Only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because they got my sandwich right, however, it's subway so that should be basic but I'll give them the benefit. First and most importantly the service is absolutely atrocious. The female employee with the red hair took my family's order with the most bland and rude attitude I have ever received. She would look at each of us with an expectancy of saying our order without hesitation and even with a slight pause she'd roll her eyes and stare at us with a blank expression. what can I say. it's your typical subway fare except that it's literally seconds away from the entrance to Zion National Park. Prices seem higher given the proximity to the park but still it's one of the cheaper food options. We had a long day in Zion and actually lost our car keys in the narrows for our rental car. So we came in to get some food and used the wifi to see what our options were for the night. The girls behind the counter were very courteous and quick making our sandwiches, and as we sat there trying to find options about getting a locksmith things were getting grim. On top of the great service we had gotten earlier the owner of the Subway (and the little coffee shop attached to it) realized we were in trouble and the closest hotel for the night was over 30 minutes away in St. George...Needless to say he DROVE us all the way to our hotel for the night!!!
