We ordered from Thip's, not expecting much, and went to go pick it up. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in because the restaurant is very clean and cute inside. It wasn't busy, and as soon as we walked in, someone came to greet us and asked how she could help. She told us our food would be right out. Two minutes later, she came out with our order and thanked us. When we got home, we ate the hot food, and it was delicious. I got the sweet and sour tofu with fried rice and my husband got General Tsou's chicken. The level of spice was just right on both orders. We have since decided that the next time we want Thai food, we will go eat it at the restaurant because it was so inviting.

The spice level is not always consistent, so just keep that in mind if you like your food less spicy. Maybe consider going down a spice level. I like a little kick so I usually do a two. The only down is the amount of shrimp you get with an entree. We ordered a shrimp plate and only got five shrimp in the whole family dish, the rest was veggies.

The veggies still had a little crunch to them which is great. I asked for level 4 spice and boy ol' boy, my sinuses are now clear! I ordered chicken and added shrimp. Nice quantity of food for the price.

Finally had a chance to get some takeout. Everyone I was in contact with was super nice. But this "meal" was $45. I ordered 2 things for pick up and spent that much money. Don't get me wrong there are places I'd go back to for that amount but they were blow my mind amazing meals (even as takeout). These were, okay. Typical Thai takeout, nothing to say it was "the best". So while the food was good it was not $20 per item good. There Chili paste was pretty generic as well, definitely not homemade. So if you're looking for regular Thai food, and don't care about price, this place will help a craving but not worth going out of your way for.

Our server did a great job. I believe they said he was the owner. He checked on us often. He offered suggestions. He kept our drinks full. He was very personable. Additionally he had a wonderful since if humor. I left very impressed and full. Everything was reasonably priced. There is parking in front. The one area in which they need some improvements was the restroom. It needed to be updated to reflect the rest of the restaurant.

Ambience is a typical strip mall restaurant, but definitely on the better side. Service was friendly and despite a few minor snafus - which they handled with grace - service was good. I would rather have a service snafu handled with grace than a perfect service from an attitudinal jerk, wouldn't you? The food is where it shines. Check out the specials. We had a couple of specials and a couple of items off the menu. We split all of it and took home leftovers. The first special we got as an appetizer was Thai crab cakes. These were crab cakes not so fake breadcrumbed sugary nightmare. Real crab with almost no filler. They were small and fried (no greasy). Served with a flavorful red curry sauce that was delicious and complex. Topped with flash fried fresh basil. This was a perfect dish. We also had fresh spring rolls, pad prik with chicken, and crab fried rice. It was all delicious. The crab fried rice is also real crab. With two pepsi colas and a good tip, it was still under $80. Highly recommend. .
