For being a Hawaiian restaurant they are known having loving rice they gave us the most one cup rice each. i wasn't able to take pics of my wife's spam meal with side of lumpia: it was two pieces of spam and two pieces of lumpia I got the chamorro ribs with sides of lumpia & pancit. I know inflation made everything expensive but what's the excuse of having no flavor..? Pancit being I am filipino this is the worst one I have tastes sorry to say but the "school pancit" back when I was in elementary school has more flavorl FYK Lumpia is also more wrapper and no flavor on the filling. I suggest trying this place but for us we are disappointed 1 Meat with Rice Plate

The vibes of the place are great and feel very homey, perfect for the food they serve! The menu is expansive and I haven't had the chance to try too many things so I'm definitely excited to try another dish when I return. The chili and fried chicken was excellent and I would definitely recommend it!

They were a bit wetter than I prefer, but the flavor was definitely there. I also liked that the kamaboko came in thick slices instead of the usual shredded style. The hamburger steak was the standout dish for me. It was flavorful and easily my favorite item we tried. The trifecta plate was decent, although it was a little saltier than our taste, and the kalbi ribs were good but fairly standard. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the macaroni salad, as I found it a bit bland. Overall, it was a good meal, and I'd be willing to come back and try more items on the menu.

We liked it so much we used them to do a catering event for a family members 70th birthday. The food was ready to pick up on time, it was hot, juicy and delivered on the smoke flavor everyone expects from great BBQ! They take additional care by having created their own signature BBQ sauce as well. If you visit them at their "home" location in Forest Grove, be aware that during most days they offer a scaled back (but EXTREMELY tasty) menu. However, on Saturday's that is when they truly shine with a full menu of smoked brisket, pulled pork, brisket burnt ends, pork baby back ribs, kalua pig, teriyaki chicken, and some fantastic side options! It's not just their food that stands out, but their level of service and customer interaction. They are personable and truly want to create a positive experience for the customer. They are proud of what they do, and they should be. I highly recommend you give them a try if you're in the Forest Grove, OR area. Zesti carts is located one street past the Walmart Super Center. Tons of great food options with other wonderful food truck owners as well.

For this try, I went with the hawaiian side and got the Huli Huli chicken and the lumpia rolls. Presentation is fantastic. Service was great. Flavor, not quite what I was expecting, but the chicken was fine. A slightly smoky flavor with sauce that I can't quite describe. The mac salad was bland and I've now discovered that I'm not really fan of the lumpia. They weren't bad at all, just I wouldn't order them again. I will go back because I need to try the BBQ side of things (can only eat so much at one time you know).
