From the onset and throughout the work project, Carlos and his team showed to me the highest professionalism. He came to inspect our roof and promptly provided me with a fair estimate of the project cost. He was quick to answer my questions and gladly acceded to my small request. At the first day of work, they arrived and left on time for 5 consecutive days and finished the project exactly as he told me he will. His team was unobtrusive and performed their work with care so as not to disturb our neighbors. His team made sure to protect and secure our landscaping and cleaned up everyday the whole time. Finally, the craftsmanship showed a re-roofing project very well done.  Most of the time, many of us have apprehensions about the people we hire with the projects we want to get done around our house. But with Carlos and the Kaliber Roofing team, the feeling never occurred with me at any time. My neighbor down the street was getting their roof done by Kaliber Roofing, and I have a ballon and its string that's been stuck on the peak of my roof for months. I approached Tony and asked if they could assist me in getting it off my roof. Tony said he would come by after they completed my neighbor's job since they were wrapping it up. 30 minutes later, Tony showed up, grabbed his ladder, and got the "melted" ballon stuck to the roof tile. During the last heavy rain we discovered a leak in our roof. Due to the age of the roof, we decided to replace the whole thing. Carlos came out at the appointed day and time and gave us a detailed estimate. Before we even signed a contract, he agreed to put a tarp up on our roof so we didn't have to worry about the upcoming rain. Carlos never showed up for the appointment. I had an appointment with Carlos today, who set the date and time to come take a look at my roof to get a quote. He set the time between 11:00 & 12:00. I texted him at 10:30 that I was home and he could come by early. I did not get a response back. 12:30 came by. I called Carlos, and he answered, and i said, "You missed our appointment." He asked for my address. I told him the city I lived in. He hesitated it was silence. He asked again for my address. I told him, "If you can't even make an appointment, then you are not reliable." Yes this company has only a few reviews because they are new company so don't be afraid to give them a chance or you could be over paying for your roofing needs. I requested a quote from roofing companies on Yelp and got a response back from 4 companies. First company stated they were booked 2 months in advanced and were not taking any more clients. Second company gave me ridiculous quote to replace a few broken tiles plus they wanted me to go on roof to take picture of tile to see if they could match color. Then Carlos responded from Kaliber roofing and stated he would come and look at the roof which he did same day. He gave me an honest and fair quote to replace the few cracked tiles I had on my roof plus replace the cap tile that great wind blew off my roof. Carlos was able to fix my my roof same week. My husband reached out to Carlos back in February of 2024 after discovering we had a leak. He got five different estimates and Kaliber Roofing was very competitive in pricing and by far the most willing to work with our specific needs. At the time we had reservations about getting the roof done at that time due to the unpredictable weather as we were hoping to make it to summer. However, following another rainstorm and a second leak Carlos offered to tarp the problem areas until we were able to move forward with replacing the roof. My husband was able to do that himself, but it was much appreciated that he offered to do that, especially on a weekend. At the end of May we finally had a break in the wet weather and made the choice to get it replaced. All of the crew from Kaliber were punctual, professional, polite, and friendly. Over the years we have worked with numerous contractors and Carlos and Tony have been the best to work with. During the project the mornings were very damp, so Carlos and his crew tarped the entire roof after demo to alleviate any fears we had regarding moisture; once again going above and beyond. Our roof ended up having more layers than originally thought, which meant more demo for his team. Despite this, Carlos and his team were able to finish earlier than expected. They were mindful of the fact that we have young children at home and made sure to clean up daily and meticulously walk the property for nails, and other debris. I spoke with Carlos last week and told him I needed three satellite dishes removed from my roof and then have the holes in the roof repaired. He quoted me a fee and we scheduled the work for Monday morning at 9:00 am. At 10:00 am on Monday, after he did not call or arrive at my house, I sent him a text asking for a status update. Carlos came out on a Sunday in between storms to assess the leak in my roof. His prompt response was greatly appreciated and he was able to temporarily secure the tile on my roof to get through an upcoming storm until the permanent repair could be done. This gave me peace of mind which is priceless when you have a leaking roof in the middle of the rainy season.
