I ordered a wrap and açaí bowl to go today on Thursday, December 19. Before handing me the food, the cashier (Indian with glasses) asked me to empty my pockets. The customer service was amazing i was served by jhonny and he had many recommendations, the other employee or manager named Muhammad was very rude he was on his phone the whole time walking in and out the store and didn't change his gloves while handling different foods (cross contamination) (jhonny used different pairs of gloves while handling my meal) and again jhonny was very cleanly and he was very friendly muhammad was just running in and out and didn't even help him clean up. Wow - I mean, wow! I got the kale salad and added avocado and hard boiled egg and there's no way I could finish it all. The peanut dressing is so light and not super peanut buttery so it doesn't overpower the salad. My son got a gluten-free pesto chicken wrap and I would totally order that next time. He's four and he's mowing it down! My husband got the Greek salad with chicken and I think I might want that next time too. The lemon vinaigrette was strong and delicious. The bowl was loaded and filling. The Tropical Trippin' is made with orange, mango, pineapple, coconut yogurt, and coconut milk. It was sweet, but not too sweet and very refreshing! The space is small, but bright and clean. Parking is limited, but overflow parking is available in the adjacent shopping center. The staff were friendly and helpful. I created this account just to make this review, that is how disgusted I was with this place. About a week 1/2 ago, I came to this place for the first time and an Indian man wearing glasses was the cashier. I was in the middle of ordering what I wanted when I noticed on his black, sheep textured jacket that he was covered in animal fur. This is extremely gross to be wearing while working in a restaurant but that's not even the worst of it all. I was waiting at the counter for my stuff to be prepared and I was watching my açaí bowl be made when I noticed... he is not wearing gloves.. This man is making my bowl and was doing it with his bare hands. This is atrocious and unprofessional. I won't be coming back if this is how the workers are allowed to be. Smoothies and food are always good, but lately the service has been extremely slow. Twice I've waited over 20 minutes for a smoothie and only one person was ahead of me when I came in. It appears they are currently hiring so maybe they are short staffed and also backed up with mobile/door dash type orders also. But I just can't understand why it takes that long if throwing things in a blender for a smoothie only takes a couple minutes. Don't come here if you're on your way somewhere or pressed for time. I'm really liking this spot. Today I tried the Acai Bowl. The guy that took my order, made sure I liked coconut and also recommended adding almond butter. Delish! I love this place. But I don't love that , every table and counter surface are to dirty. It would take less than five minutes to wipe them down and straighten the chairs. The fridge is never stocked and is usually empty. At the very least, it can be cleaned! There are always wire barrels filled with fresh lemons or apples for decor purposes I assume ... yet, some how there always manages to be a lemon or apple on the floor. Pick it up. Really cute spot. Very clean. Good customer service. I ordered the Chicken Pesto Wrap combo which came with your choice of half salad. I got the Greek salad to go with it. I was a tad bit disappointed :( I thought I was going to get a full wrap but really got half a wrap and the salad seemed more like a full size. There was more salad then there was of the Chicken Pesto wrap. The dressing for the salad was okay. The wrap was tasty but kept falling apart and I ate in 2 bites because of how small it was. I thought this was a perfect way to get some proteins! I walked in and was greeted and walked through what all they had. I honestly wish I didn't have dinner plans in a few hours! Their good looks amazing!!!! But I went with a burning kale smoothie! I like more veggie based things, which they had a lot of. The girl at the front made sure I knew what was in it, and when I asked for added protein she gave me a run down of the kinds and recommended hemp protein. I like this spot. Any place you can get fresh juice and snacks is a plus. I love fresh juices with no added sugars/additives. I've heard great things about this place over the years and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to stop in. Manager Brandon Wahl was very helpful in helping me understand their menu items. Visiting from out of town and i have Celiac Disease. When asking about the menu, the woman at the counter assured me the entire restaurant was gluten free. I ordered the avocado toast, and asked again if the bread was gluten free. She confidently said yes. The bread was not gluten free. Food is just like the other chains. Decent portions, healthy clean eating, simple bowls - I had a poke bowl and it wasn't bad but it wasn't the best I've had. It was average. My friend had the acai bowl and was disappointed that it was in a small plastic container yet she ordered the deluxe. It looked nothing like the generous long bowl on the wall. However, she said it didn't taste bad, it was average. Smoothies, wraps, and juices you'll find here too. If you eat clean, this is a good option for a meal. And to my horror, after I finished my meal (poke bowl, meh), I saw the cook preparing meals with their gloves on, and then between orders started using her phone. With her gloves on.
