I went to the Kale Me Crazy on Dallas HWY, ordered my food and while waiting, decided to look in the back since it's open. I saw two of the staff DIGGING in one of their braids. I watched long enough to see the young lady was not going to wash her hands. She just put on gloves, didn't bother to wash and dry her hands of scalp boogers. I immediately asked for a refund. It took over two months for me to get my money back because Jenny wouldn't complete my refund. I should have called my bank sooner to intervene. Horrible service, not clean! read more

I've been vegetarian for 5 years and this has been the best place in town for me to go and have a healthy meal. I normally am on the go so I call ahead and the staff always has it ready when I get there. Was in the area after going on a hike at Kennesaw Mountain and was looking for a place to get some light food. I searched juice bars and this Kale Me Crazy location came up. I'm a fan over of the chain. I usually always get the same thing. I've tried their bowls, smoothies, wraps, and avocado toast. Their prices are a little on the higher side, so I don't frequent often but they are a good option for something light, healthy, and refreshing. The service was good. The restroom was clean. There was indoor seating and outdoor seating. The staff wasn't wearing masks. I ordered the power house smoothie (my favorite), it was okay, felt like it was lacking a little something. I also ordered the vegan wrap which was really good. My total for the two items was a little over $20. They also had a few snacks on the counter I couldn't resist that I ended up getting as well. Some chips and diary free lemon cookies. All in all the experience was good, I'd visit the location again if in the area. Might choose outdoor seating or table seating if available versus bar. These are popping up all over the place! Not sure why I haven't been but when my date suggested meeting here, I couldn't resist. This location sits in a busy parking lot and is in the far right side of Kroger. Plenty of parking, with outdoor and indoor seating. Yes, this is mostly a salad place. But be forewarned that the salad you order will be huge! I did the Pear Apple Salad with ahi tuna, and was blown away at the portion size and amount of ahi they put in there! My date's salad was even larger than mine and she couldn't finish it. Mine was perfect and one of the better salads I've had in some time. Guess you can Kale Me Crazy for saying that? We also ordered the cold pressed juices. I LOVED the fire fighter ... a little heat with ginger and vegetables. The only downside is cost on these ... $9 for it was a bit pricey. They do have a water cooler, though (the water out of it wasn't that cold). My only gripes. The employees were all pleasant and they brought us our food. If you go without the cold pressed juice, you'll get a lot of bang for your buck and feel healthy afterwards. I would highly recommend this place for delicious salads! read more

So, I spend $40 on two smoothies and avocado "toast". It wasn't even toasted. Avocado bread. Yum. Smoothies were ok. I don't get why the price is so high? Guess lesson learned. First of all I want to say the Juice is amazing! I am giving this place 5 stars because we need healthy options in our town. However, a really funny-weird thing about this place is that the girls that work here at the register seem to turn on the flirty eyes and smiles to the men that walk in, even in front of the wives standing there! At first, as the wife,I felt a little awkward. They do an amazing job at customizing your smoothies or your food to accommodate allergy sensitivities and still making it taste amazing!!! I have to send a huge thank you their employee Jasmine, she made several smoothies for us that were simply better than any that we've had at any Kale Me Crazy location (even though the others are usuallt good too!). We had kids with us who sometimes (sadly) really prefer junk food but Jasmine was able update the Recovery smoothie to taste super yummy with healthy their healthy ingredients that even our pickiest eater loved. Jasmine she and her coworker Chloe are amazing. Chloe even made sure to offer a very small sample before our smoothie was completely finished just in case the sweetness needed to be adjusted. Talk about 5 star service!! They make your smoothie taste amazing and put you at ease with a smile in the process. I tried the Deluxe Acai Bowl. It was a great start to my morning. I only wish it was bigger for the cost. My bowl was prepared fast. I just wish I could Have watched it being prepared. It was weird because the blueberries on top were froZen. That did not compromise the taste for me At all. I was not as full as I usually am afterward so perhaps you may want to add something else if you are hungry. I wanted to try the avocado toast but I don't understand why they wanted to put egg on it. Original concept, delicious food! I stopped in for my first (and certainly not last) visit today. Couldn't decide what to have for lunch and I'm Chic-fil-a'd out so in I went. Super clean store, friendly staff and out of this world healthy choices. There is not one thing on the menu to feel guilty about eating/drinking. I tried 3 items today. I started with a Wellness Shot (ginger, oil of oregano, garlic, tumeric & cayenne with a chaser of fresh lemon juice), follwed by a slice of avocado toast with sliced boiled egg and took a Fire Fighter juice to go (carrot, apple, celery, ginger and cayenne.) Sometimes the base is almost frozen solid with not a lot of flavor and they don't give you a choice of toppings. The açaí bowls are also a bit overpriced for what you get. Everything was fresh, portion was decent but not quite like other places that do poke as their main item.
