What went well? Everything. Quick, efficient, kind and…read moreprofessional. I felt price was reasonable especially for a Sunday afternoon. We won't call anyone else for appliance repair. They called the next morning to insure our problem had been resolved. Who does that anymore? 5 star customer service.

Thankfully I had just put towels into washer with some detergent before the water started flowing. I called Ohana Appliance Repair and a sweet lady answered my call, on a Sunday! She informed me that I would be added to Dustin's schedule and he would get back to me. I was waiting for a call tomorrow (Monday) but a white van appeared in my driveway and it was Dustin. He was in the Mililani area and saw my name and address on the request list and decided to stop by. I was nearly in tears! My 14 year old dog just passed away, now the washer is down but this sweet gentleman made the time. Turns out that the electric board was shot, and doing a price search revealed the new electric board and labor would be pretty expensive. Dustin suggested looking into buying a new washer since fixing it would be over half of what a new washer would cost. I asked Dustin if he accepted Venmo so I could pay him for the consultation. Dustin politely refused payment. It's a Sunday, Dustin could've very well been at home with his lovely wife and their new puppy, (yes, we shared our love of dogs with each other). Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are for this way beyond exceptional service by Dustin at Ohana Appliance Repair. Also of importance is I have a 12 year old Dachshund who always barks at strangers especially men. Nope, not today. Brownie simply went to Dustin and gave him a good sniffing and approved of him. So if you don't trust me, trust my Brownie's instincts. Thank you Dustin!

Ena Laundry is a great laundromat! Dennis, one of the three owners, was incredibly friendly,…read morewelcoming, and helpful, making the whole experience easy and pleasant. The prices are very reasonable - it's $5 in quarters for the smaller washing machines and $6 for the larger ones, with each wash lasting about 25 minutes. Drying costs around $5 for 45 minutes in the large commercial dryers, so you can expect to spend about $10 to wash and dry a full load of laundry. The facility is clean and well-equipped with a quarter machine, a handwashing sink stocked with soap, plenty of rolling carts to move your laundry, and spacious folding stations. There are benches for seating (although one chair was broken during our visit). They also offer a wash-and-fold service, and it was great to see the staff carefully folding customers' laundry with such attention to detail. This is an excellent option if you're visiting the area and your hotel doesn't have laundry facilities. As an added bonus, there's a 7-Eleven right in front and a delicious Vietnamese pho restaurant next door, making it easy to grab a bite while your laundry is washing. Parking can be a little challenging because there aren't many spaces, but spots open up fairly quickly as customers come and go. Overall, this is a fantastic laundromat with friendly service, fair prices, and everything you need for a hassle-free laundry day.

BEST LAUNDROMAT IN TOWN!!…read more If you're looking for a reliable wash-and-fold laundromat, this is the place to go. It's tucked away in the corner between 7-Eleven and Pho Mai Han, so there's plenty of parking available which is always a huge plus in Waikiki. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the friendly staff, and the entire process is incredibly easy. Simply drop off your laundry, they wash and neatly fold everything for you, and you pick it up when it's ready. The prices vary depending on your laundry, but they're very reasonable especially for Waikiki. The team is fast, efficient, and meticulous with handling your clothes. Overall, it's a convenient, affordable, and stress-free service. I'd definitely recommend them ... 10/10 across the board!

He has been a cherished family member ever since that fateful evening. We had him scanned at the vet, but they didn't know which company. I tried calling HHS and never got a person, then I found Cat Friends. The switch was easy with the company once I verified with the csr who the original chip belonged to. He is now an indoor only kitty enjoying the spoils of wet food, air conditioning, tv, toys, bird watching beds, and being granny's favorite fur baby. Just dont tell the others. Lol! Thank you Cat Friends for the village involved in his life. From the people who trapped and released him, to the medical team who neutered and monitored him. I will pay it forward for introducing me to my best friend. ^_^ Update: I realized I didn't include information on how others can help too! On their website, hicstfriends.org, click on ways to help. There is a donation link powered by givebutter, so you can make a one time or monthly monetary donation of your choice. There is a volunteer link if you wish to sign up for more opportunities such as clinic days, or other duties such as educating, trapping, or assisting other volunteers in feeding/trapping. You can also gift items they need such as: wet and dry cat food, gas gift cards, led flashlights and batteries, 55 and 13 gallon trash bags, paper towels, and clorox bleach for their supply pantry/clinic days. If you are unable to make the the supply drop off from 10a-2p on their clinic days, you can always give them a call and coordinate a drop off date. Clinic days involves signing up for different shifts, (9-2, 12-4p, 3p-end of shift) and different duties such as: checking in, numbering the traps and placing kitties in line for surgery, cleaning the traps and lining them with fresh paper, monitoring the cats who are waking up from anesthesia (I think this is a great opportunity for future vet med students), administration duties such as helping with paperwork or discharging cats, laundry, cleaning, and organizing. So there is definitely something for everyone. *^_^*
