We were here one hour before closing, didn't have an appointment, (obviously,) and they were busy. They went out of their way to show us the famous Canadian hospitality and make time to fit us in! Our whole family of 4 were together and they let my son watch what he wanted on tv, offered my teen the WiFi code if she wanted, offered a snack and beverage and fixed our tire! They were abundantly kind and generous with us, and we are incredibly grateful! Thank you Trail Tire!

Got a flat tire a block away from this place and thought I was in luck given the reviews. I walked…read morein and the guy literally just stared at me without greeting me at all. In the middle of our conversation the phone rings and he picks it up and starts talking. No "excuse me", or "sorry, I have to get this". Just picked it up and ignored me. Really professional right? Told him I got a flat and asked if it could be fixed today. He said they are busy today but I could leave the car here but there's no guarantee that it would be done today. I needed the car for the night so asked if they could just pop on the spare tire and repair the damaged tire and they said it then might take a couple days?? Not sure why but it would take longer doing that but seemed like they didn't want my business so I called a different place to get it done there. The place was a few km away and I didn't want to drive on the flat. So I started to put on the spare tire myself. I'm thinking this might have been a bad look for them "a guy changing his own tire in front of a tire shop" cause the guy comes out and starts saying I can't do that in their parking lot because of liability problems. Was I supposed to drive back on the road and do it there? I told them I would be 15 minutes and he literally yelled at me, "Just be quick and don't damage the other cars, Jesus!" And went back into the store. I don't know what I could've done differently here. I felt like I was patient with them given how rude they were when they first met with me. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I'll definitely be taking my future business elsewhere and would never recommend this place to anyone.

After advising them of my issue they asked me to pull into the first bay and that they would check the tires. One tire was down a couple of pounds only and after they soaped the the tire said it may have been the monitor. They said to keep and eye on the pressure and any further issues they will pull the tire off to check it if there is a screw or nail in it. While there I checked out tire prices and found them to be reasonable. I will be back. Fast , Friendly service. Thank you

I have been to this location a few times and always get good service. I am greeted when I walk in…read morethe door and promptly looked after. The name can fool you but they do way more than tires. I have taken the car in for mechanical work as one day it just died so I had it towed here and they had to run more tests on it than a 70 year old with a heart condition. They finally found out what was wrong and quickly fixed any issues (with my approval of course). I have also taken an out of province car in for an inspection and that was relatively quick as well. I also went after receiving an oil change and being told my tires are going to explode soon and that the tread was at zero. The dude from Kal Tire came right out into the parking lot, had a look, measured the tread and pretty much said the oil change guy had no idea what he was talking about. You can get lucky sometimes and just drop in but they seem to be getting more and more busy so would be best to call ahead and make an appointment if you need work done. On the tire side, I wouldn't go anywhere else, they definitely know what they are doing here. Fast, friendly, honest and seem to be on par cost wise so would recommend you check them out. p.s. They are all over the city so if your car breaks down in the SW, you won't have to get your car towed to Chucky's Shanty Town Garage in the NE, could probably find a Kal Tire just around the corner (kinda like Starbucks). 13/30
