I ordered takeout from them for the first time. The sushi was pretty good for the price, very tasteful. The spicy mayo was actually spicy which i appreciate. And the fish didn't have a real fishy taste. I enjoyed it a lot and will order from here again. The lion roll was my favorite.

Decided to take a trip to a sushi place in Albany and was delighted with the friendly staff and delicious selection of sushi and noodle and beef bowl. Nicely decorated with a sophisticated ambiance. Left super stuffed and just right for the pocket book. Will venture back again. When you go make sure you say hello to the sushi chefs and try make them smile if you go. They work super hard and fast to make sushi delicious sushi! I'm in sushi heaven.......

Sushi rolls and desert come by on a conveyer belt They are coded $2.95- $4.75 good prices

The food was delicious, I recommend the Snow Mountain Roll . The service is not so delicious or recommended. We waited for 30 minutes and had to ask to get service. It is just us in the building on a Thursday....we are the only customers....so the service shouldn't have been so slow but hey it's not always perfect, no big deal. They have attitudes Enjoy!!

    Sake Nigiri cut. Not bad!

Surprising find in Albany! This sushi place was actually really good, has good prices for nigiri, and comes with a reasonable serving. Full disclosure: I can only speak on the takeout experience & sake (salmon) nigiri since that's all I got, but it was great! Each nigiri came as a decent-sized cut of salmon with not-too-much rice. Wish it came with more ginger, but overall surpassed my expectations for sushi in the area. Good quality fish, good size cut. Note that they are not open for dine-in during the day - only take out orders, with dine-in 4-8pm. Was a bit disappointed coming in expecting conveyor belt sushi for lunch, but the takeout experience was just fine.

The ROCK hard avocados ruined the rolls. What a waste of $50.

The ROCK hard avocados ruined the entire rolls. I had to toss it. What a waste of $50.

I love the crunchy Philly, so warm and gooey!

I ordered through Uber and food arrived on time and it was tasty! And the rice on the Shrimp roll was amazing, not dry like some places. I'll definitely order again

It was yummy but there wasn't many options on the conveyer belt sadly. I was most excited about the belt.

I LOVE this place and will visit them time and time again. My experience began when I called and asked about wait times. I was told there shouldn't be a wait, but if there is, it would be less than 10 minutes. I arrived with my four children and we were seated immediately. Drink orders were taken. They had Japanese sodas available and my children loved them. Then came the conveyor belt of freshly prepared sushi. The plates are color coded for price so I was able to tell my children that they could pick as many green plates as they wanted (green is the cheapest). In addition to the conveyor belt of fresh sushi where you pick what you want without having to wait, you can order specialty items (we had the 911). In addition, if something you want isn't going around on the conveyor belt, just ask. The staff were happy to prepare whatever we were looking for! The employees elevated our experience. They checked in with us often and made recommendations. We left extremely full for much less than I've paid for us all to eat at "all you can eat" sushi places. The creamy scallop shushi dish (I'm not good with names so please forgive me) was recommended and I was impressed. Fish eggs adorned to top of the dish. The mixture of flavors was amazing. Even better, my kids loved it all. My son didn't care for the squid salad. It had a gingery taste and I'm afraid he doesn't like ginger. Now that I've told you about my secret spot, please go. I don't want to regret giving out information about this hidden gem.

I've been here several times and everything I've ever ordered has been freshly made with fresh ingredients, and served with a smile. On this latest visit, I was here with a friend for lunch. We arrived soon after opening and since we had our choice of tables, of course we chose to sit where we could watch the rushing river go by as we ate. We both ordered the Shrimp & Veggie Tempura. My friend also ordered a side of steamed rice and I had hot tea. The tempura was perfectly deep-fried and the dipping sauce was very tasty. Our server kept watch over us without being overbearing, filling our water glasses and taking our used plates away quickly. The day we were here, the weather was in the middle of giving us an atmospheric river, which means it was pouring rain as we arrived. The restaurant overlooks the Silver Creek and on this day, it was crazy high and rushing like it was late for its own lunch or something. Good food, great service, fabulous company, and a lunchtime water show - couldn't have asked for a better meal experience!

It is always a big deal for me when I get to tell my wife that we are going to Sybaris. Tonight was going to be even more memorable because we brought our daughter along to celebrate Mother's Day. Our problem began when we ran into traffic and were 15 minutes late. At the door, our waiter informed us that the restaurant seats people every half hour. I apologized and we were seated. If I had known what was coming I would have turned around at the door and left. What followed was two hours of some of the rudest service I have ever experienced. I spent much of my youth working in restaurants in Upstate NY. I know that customers can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but our only mistake was that we were 15 minutes late. We spent the whole meal being polite while this guy continuously made us feel uncomfortable. It's difficult to describe the way this guy was acting. The food came out and it was good, but the waiter was coming off like wise ass. At the end of the meal there were hardly any people in the restaurant. The waiter gave me the bill then waited 15 minutes to pick up my card. I guess he got his satisfaction. If there was any doubt about his intentions, when we were getting ready to leave, he kept asking me if I wanted more water. That's an asshat move. Much to my wife's dismay, I tipped him fair because that's just what you do. My daughter gained a learning experience on the nature of jerks so I suppose that's something, but overall it was a sad twist on what was supposed to be a grand event. Of course we can't ever come back, but please take this information and remind your staff that they are a big part of the dinning experience.
