I heard this place had amazing food so I thought I would give it a try. I didn't want to dive right in so I ordered two appetizers. Pan fried wonton with garlic sauce. Oh my so delishous. Great portion. Awesome flavors with a slight spice. Next time I will get them with the spicy heat kicked up. Chicken wings with garlic sauce. Yummy. Big wings with big flavors once again. Once again I will ask for the heat to be turned up next time. Can't wait to try the General Tso chicken!!!

Sesame Tofu, and vegetable steamed dumplings.

My favorite food place in Kingston, been going here for years and they just always seem to get it right. After a long hike in the Catskills this where I always ended up and it hits right. Also thank you for remaining open through covid much love.

    Delicious Hot and Sour Soup!

I was sooo hungry when I stopped at Kai's Kitchen. After spending 10 minutes reviewing the menu, I decided to order2 things from the Lunch Menu: #12 - Crispy Eggplant with Garlic Sauce and #19 - Beef Broccoli w/Garlic Sauce. I ordered both with white rice and one with Hot and Sour Soup and the other with a Pepsi ( - I know , bad girl) and for good measure, an order of Pam Fried Dumplings. The soup was delicious - flavorful, complex broth. The dumplings - 8 very big ones - were bursting at the seams with a large, well flavored pork dumpling. The Crispy Eggplant was just that - crispy and well flavored with the garlic sauce. The beef was thinly sliced, tender, and liberally flavored with garlic, as I like it. The portions were quite large and be dinner for tonight as well. If I lived in the area, this would certainly be a "go to" for Chinese take out or to eat in. Oh yes, the Pepsi - well, if you've had one, you've had them all! Nothing unique with the Pepsi!

The location is immediately next to La Florentina. The inside is quite modest and on par for quick American Chinese food. 3 two top tables 6 counter bar height seats 3 booths Nothing fancy. No real decor. Very simple., I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan which was steaming hot & came with Chicken, bok Choy, water chestnuts, mushrooms, pea pods & carrots. Chicken was all white meat & theres was a proportional ratio of meat to veggies. I ordered 2 pork egg rolls which were hot & very good but again on par with other good American Chinese take out restaurants. I also ordered chicken fried rice which was not drenched in soy sauce which was fab bc I hate that. The ingredients (peas, carrots, onions & Chicken) were FRESH too. (Some places use questionable day old meat etc. which bums me out). The portions are a nice size. Not huge but a nice amount per entree. They do not offer delivery which is a bummer but not a huge deal. This is American Chinese Food but it's FRESH, HOT & VERY GOOD. Definitely recommended!!!!

    Very fast chefs!

Standard American Chinese fare. Good food and prices. It's our go-to for take out.

I haven't hit an All You Can Eat buffet since I worked in Castle Hill back in the day, when the…read moreThrogs Neck AYCE spot was my weekly guilty pleasure. Fast forward to now, I finally dipped back in. This time, at Super Bowl. Hubs and I didn't leave disappointed. First off, the seating here is actually comfortable. You can breathe, spread out and actually enjoy the meal. Bonus points: if you're not feeling the buffet marathon, they have an à la carte menu. But their buffet is the real showstopper: They don't skimp on meats and seafood. Plenty of options, cooked up different ways and the seafood is fresh. Salads, Rice & Veg: Yeah, they've got the "healthy section"- but honestly, as much I like salad, I wasn't here for lettuce. There's even a Hot Pot Station that looked fun. I hope they have veg broth. Maybe next time? The bottom line is this- Super Bowl nails its clean, has a good spread, the prices are solid and service is on point. Plates are cleared fast, drinks topped up without that awkward flagging someone down. And, you walk out full and satisfied. This is definitely a level up from the run-of-the-mill AYCEs and nice to see Super B. up in these neck of the woods.

The very first time we saw the sign, we thought this place was a sports bar. What a surprise,…read morewhen we drove up, and found out that it was Chinese food, and darn good Chinese food at that. We've been ordering from here for years, and I can't believe that I've never done a review! We have never had a bad item off their large menu yet. The place is clean, I like the atmosphere, and everybody is friendly. One thing that we have not done from here, is the hot pot, (the "Super Bowl" in the name,) where you cook your own food, tableside, In a bowl of hot broth that they provide you. I've done that before at other restaurants, and it is a lot of fun. I hear that it is extremely good, here. . They do delivery through most of the delivery platforms, but you are going to pay a higher amount than if you ordered from them directly. And not only the delivery fee, either. The menu prices are higher if you go through one of the delivery platforms. If you are going to be ordering food to pick up, the best way to do it is directly through their webpage. That way you don't have to pay a premium... Tonight, I ordered from their large "all day special" menu. An egg roll, your choice of soup, your choice of rice, and your choice of entrée from their large list, all for only $14.95, plus tax. That's an amazing price! Tonight, I ordered the chicken curry with egg drop soup and fried rice. It's amazing that I got so much food for such a small price. The eggroll was large and delicious, and the soup was excellent. Not too oily, not too greasy. The rice was just the right texture, and the chicken curry was amazing! The chicken was tender, and the veggies were not over or underdone. Also, I could definitely taste the curry. It was just a little bit spicy, but not too much. Just enough that I knew the spice was there. After the egg roll and the soup, I barely made it halfway through my main course. The rest ended up as my midnight snack. We will continue to order from here. Thank you! UPDATE: The food was so good last night, I ordered from the "special menu again, for the next two nights in a row. The first night, .I had the shrimp and veggies with brown rice, and wonton soup. There was a one dollar "upcharge" for the wonton soup, but that was no big deal at all, because it was chock full of large tender wontons, with a delicious filling. There was a good amount of decent sized. Tender, shrimp, and again, the veggies were done just right. The rice was good as usual. I didn't mention it last night, but there was a tiny taste of cinnamon to the eggroll. I didn't mind it at all, because that comes from the "five spice" that they use. The five spice really adds to the flavor. Once again, half of the meal is going to be my midnight snack. The second night, pretty much the exact same excellent experience. I had the wonton soup again, and this time I had the "Thailand chicken" with fried rice. I was worried about the name, but there was not a "spicy" symbol next to it on the menu, so I asked. She said it was not spicy. Once again, the chicken and veggies were excellent. It had a very good sauce. I can't really describe it, because I can't recognize the flavors, but it was very good. As for spice? Again, there was just a tiny bit of spice, just enough that I knewthat it was there. As is a bad habit of mine,, I tore into it so fast, I forgot to get a picture. Thanks again for the great food!!

I took loads of photos. The place has been around for half a century or more and it has that old school vibe which I can appreciate. Its clean and service was lovely. The woman who served us was warm and friendly. The food was just not hitting it. I normally wouldn't want to bash a local mom and pop spot but since they got a James beard award??? I had to write this review. We ordered the pork dumplings and they were so thick and doughy. 75% dough and 25% pork filling. That's a bad ratio. I had to take off more the an half of the dough. The pork filling was tasty, like most traditional dumplings. We also ordered shrimp egg rolls. It came two per order. It was filled with diced celery???? 95% celery and a few morsels of tiny baby shrimp. No cabbage or any other vegetables. I was surprised it was heavy on celery? Not the most appetizing to say the least. Just call it celery roll. We also ordered the chicken and broccoli. The chicken was tender but the flavors were very different. It was a heavy sesame oil flavor, that's all I could taste. Disappointing big time. We also ordered the triple delight? Not delightful, more like scary! Beef, chicken, shrimp and veggies in heavy brown sauce. The plate came out and it was all so dark swimming in dark brown sludge. So not appealing whatsoever. You could barely make out the veggies, everything was drowned in the dark brown thick sauce. Only four pieces of small shrimp. The beef was tough not tender and had a strange taste. Not good. Couldn't eat it. The restaurant is darkly lit so it was hard to tell what was chicken and what was beef. The flavor wasn't good. Better than the other dishes but that not saying much. I would not recommend. That's is for sure. We also got the tofu and broccoli in hot garlic. It tasted very unusual. My husband ate it since he's a vegetarian but I cannot make out any of the flavors in this dish. How in the world did they get any type of award is beyond me? I will not be returning to this establishment ever again. How has this business stayed around for this many years boggles my mind. Truly the worst Chinese food I have ever consumed. I wish I could erase this memory from my mind. I really wish we never stepped foot in this establishment and could have saved our $$ for a better meal. Worst meal by far. Huge disappointment.

I like the large Mexican/Asian fusion menu. There is something on it for everybody. I started with the Malay curry wontons. Dumplings in a red curry sauce. They were delicious! They were tender, the generous filling was delicious, and they had just a little bit of a gentle heat to them. I could feel my forehead sweat just a little bit. I liked them. For my main course, , I had the Asian rice bowl with teriyaki beef. I chose the seasoned rice, and it came topped with cabbage, carrot, cucumber, bean sprouts, broccoli, bokchoy, cilantro, and egg. I had mine with Teriyaki Sauce. The bowl was huge, and it was delicious. The meat was tender and had a good flavor, the veggies, and the rice were done just right, and I like the addition of the egg. Everything played very well together. It was rich, but not overly so. There was a lot of food, and I took some of the dumplings and the rice bowl home for later. I had a soda, but they also offer Boba tea, beer, even soju, among other things.. The price was very reasonable, especially for the fact that I got two meals out of it. I will be back. Thank you.
