The food was good and the restaurant itself is decorated beautifully. That said, the service was very slow. It seemed like they may have been understaffed, but it took a long time for everything to come out. What really left a bad impression was that as soon as we finished dessert, we were told we needed to leave because they had another reservation coming in. After waiting so long for everything, being rushed out at the end was disappointing.

Kahani is such a gem. The place has a beautiful, modern layout that feels warm and welcoming. Raja, the owner, was genuinely one of the sweetest and most attentive owners I've met. You can tell he takes pride in every detail. We started with complimentary papad and had kurkuri bhindi, samosa chaat, lamb chops, mango lassi and their gol gappe. Everything was excellent. The kurkuri bhindi was perfectly crispy, the samosa chaat had the right mix of flavor, the kabab was flavorful and tender, and the gol gappe were spot-on. I also loved that the menu has Punjabi writing its such a thoughtful touch. Overall, amazing food, great vibes, and definitely a place I'd return to.

I absolutely loved Kahani, everything about it. The vibe, I would describe it as opulent, beautiful, upscale, & cozy. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The food was excellent as well as the drink drinks. I would describe it as Indian small plates. I stopped by for dinner. There were families with children. There were groups of young people just having fun. It's a place for everyone, At night, it turns into a cocktail lounge with music. I was very pleased with my meal. I can't wait to go back. It's my new favorite!

Food was amazing. Ambiance was amazing. Service was a tiny bit slow, but other than that, I highly recommend this place. I will say their spice level is on par with normal Indian food so maybe go mild if you want a true medium. And lastly, Justin was our server. He was amazing and super accommodating. Come try this place!!!

The restaurant itself is very pretty, well decorated, and the seating is nice. It's smaller than it looks in pictures. The bathroom was small and clean. Overall the service was quick and the waiters and hosts were all so nice and welcoming. We ordered the Kurkuri Bhindi, which reminded me of the fried okra in Dishoom in London. We also tried the Delhi Chaat and chilli paneer (spicy!). For mains we got the butter chicken and the shahi paneer which were both good. You can pick your spice level to your own preference. The rice accompanying the mains were very nice and the papad with chutney, which is complimentary was slightly overcooked but tasty. For drinks we got the mango lassi which was too yogurty for my liking. Overall the food was good and the ambience was lovely.

This place was a slice of pure sushi nirvana! If you're a…read moresushi aficionado like me, you've probably chased that elusive omakase experience where every bite feels like a revelation--fresh, innovative, and deeply respectful of tradition. House of Yoshin really delivered that. From the moment I stepped into this intimate, dimly lit haven on a crisp November evening, I knew I'd found a gem. We sat at the bar to wait for the preparations of the omakase table. They have a lot of interesting cocktails. Paloma is a must try. We kicked off with the Sake-Poached Oyster with Ponzu, a delicate opener that set the tone for elegance. The oyster, sourced that morning from pristine waters, arrived plump and silky, gently poached in sake until it surrendered its natural sweetness without losing its oceanic snap. A drizzle of citrusy ponzu cut through just enough, while flecks of menma (fermented bamboo) added a whisper of umami crunch. It was like the sea whispering secrets--light, refreshing, and utterly addictive. I could have stopped here and been happy, but oh no, the parade had just begun. The Chilean sea bass was also a hit. Soft, tender, and flavorful. Every bite was a joy As we prepared for the nigiri, the staff offered us sake pairings with each one. They really knew which ones paired best with each piece. When the sashimi came out, it was practically a love letter to the sea. The Tai (red snapper) sashimi was feather-light, its translucent slices fanning out like rose petals, dressed simply with soy and ginger to let the clean, sweet flesh shine. Then came the Amberjack (Kanpachi), lean and velvety, with a faint wasabi kick that made my eyes water in the best way. Striped Bass (Suzuki) brought a firmer texture, almost melon-like in its subtle sweetness, while the Golden Eye Snapper (Kawahagi) was a revelation--tiny, jewel-like cubes that melted faster than snow, with a hint of sea salt crystals for that perfect salinity pop. One of my favorites was the Ootoro. The texture was literally perfect and the piece just melted in your mouth. It was delightful. I also enjoyed the tune belly hand roll and te Uni Ukura Don. Just when I thought I couldn't take another bite, dessert arrived: Green Tea Creme Brulee. This wasn't your standard custard; it was a silky, matcha-infused cloud, torched tableside for that satisfying crackle. The bitter-earthy notes of premium matcha played against the caramelized sugar like yin and yang, with a hidden layer of white chocolate ganache for subtle sweetness. If you are considering this place, book it now! Five stars aren't enough; this place deserves a constellation.

We came for after-dinner drinks and dessert, but none of us were in the mood for anything sweet, so we ordered the fried chicken instead. It was absolutely delicious, and the sauce that came with it? I could drink it by the glass. Three of us ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned, which is as much of a performance as a cocktail. Since it was the end of the evening, they only did the smoked enclosed glass presentation for two of the drinks, joking that we were probably over it for the third. That was a bit disappointing, but understandable given it was closing time. I'd love to come back and try their omakase.

The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?

The bar area is separate from the main dining room and feels like its own space, with a large bar, a few small tables, and seating along the windows. It was fairly lively for a Thursday night. The bartenders were fun and engaging, clearly knew many of the regulars, and did a great job keeping the energy up. While there are no formal happy hour deals, they do serve complimentary chunks of parmesan, which were very good. The cocktail and wine menu is fairly extensive. We only ordered a small starter (fingerling potatoes for $13), but the dinner portions we saw looked generous. I enjoyed a glass of Malbec (~$15) and generous pour. Prices are closer to New York City pricing, though the portion sizes may be enough to share. When you enter the restaurant, you pass a large patio with tables, which would be especially nice during warmer months. Overall, Farm Italy feels like a great spot for catching up with friends over drinks, and I would definitely come back to try more of the food.

I remembered the restaurant so fondly and I've always wanted to go back since I moved out of LI. This weekend when I was visiting with my husband, I wanted to take him there because of how great it was the first time we went. We were able to grab a reservation for four people at 4 PM (which is pretty tough otherwise). Our server was nice and drinks were good but it didn't feel like that elevated experience that I once had here. The most disappointing part was that all of the food lacked so much flavor. We ordered the frito misto, the taglioni? (Pecorino cake style appetizer), salad, pappardelle, NY strip steak, roasted chicken. I felt like everything but the taglioni and salad lacked so much flavor and depth. I recall enjoying their food and having such an extraordinary experience the first time around, and this just felt like really basic food at a premium price point. I'm hoping it's a one off thing based off of circumstances outside their control, but I don't think I'd be going back anytime soon
