This is a terrible excuse that would've been avoided by simply LOOKING at the car for 2 seconds. So this effectively proves that the person in charge of my car hasn't even laid eyes on it. 3) When one of the new, replaced tires had an issue and I reached out looking for warranty information, my service advisor dodged my emails and calls, attempting to wait out the 60d satisfaction guarantee period. This necessitated me contacting the manager, who was respectful and sought to resolve the issue. By and large, with exception of the service MANAGER Sean (not advisors), unprofessional staff, very poor communication, and I'm not sure they put any significant effort into their work (as is evidenced by not even looking at the car). I have learned a lot about Chevrolet as a result of my interactions with this dealership over a 3 month period.

If they offer snacks would be even better lol I was very impressed with the video diagnosis that they sent you by text. It makes a huge difference when you are just looking at a piece of paper with the list of repairs and actually seeing for yourself which parts needs to be replaced. I had some issues with my transmission and Kim confirmed it was under warranty which I didn't know about. I bought my car here 10 years ago and glad to know that some things are still covered! Once they knew my repairs may take a while they immediately put me in a free brand new CX5 rental. They send updates by txt msgs which works way better than playing phone tag. I've tried going to a few other service places to save some money but they don't always do the greatest job. Glad I came back here and could not be more thrilled. I'm actually really digging the rental and may consider buying it (I know they did this on purpose!)

2/17/2026, 1:30 pm. Drove to Mastria KIA to make an…read moreappointment for an antitheft device to be installed per a recall notice sent from KIA. The service tech at the desk stated that he (KIA?) doesn't recommend the install. Apparently if one loses the key to the vehicle, not only the key but also the entire ignition has to be replaced at total cost to the customer. I also stated that my backup camera just stopped working. Mastria KIA also handled that recall on 9/4/2024 by looking at the camera and since it was working documented that the "fix" was completed, with no repair or replacement done. Since I made the recall appointment back then, the problem and cost is now mine. Some thoughts: 1-Take the vehicle to the dealer AFTER the failure to ensure KIA will fix the problem by installing a replacement part. Look for an expiration date on the recall and have it serviced before that time regardless of the part status. 2-The antitheft device install appears to be a way for KIA to make money for their inept manufacturing or Mastria KIA simply doesn't want to do vehicle recalls. 3-The 2019 Sorento hasn't issued an extended warranty on its Theta 2 engine. Hyundai did on their cars. Buyers might be better off with Hyundai rather then KIA vehicles. 4-The front desk service tech made me feel like I was looking for a handout rather than reacting to KIAs recall notices sent to my mailing address. Caring about my vehicle is an apparent liability at Mastria KIA.
