So I'm writing this to thank Moses and Ronnie for making my experience better and even redeemed the dealership. Things started off rocky to say the least, but 2 people really stood out, made good and went above and beyond. The owner should know who his team players are. After today, things went well. It did take a month, literally but I got a great deal, they fixed what I needed fixed with the exception of something I'm going back for. Not their fault at all. At first, it was great. They gave me hope. I explained my situations to the finance manager in the finance department. I don't have a great credit, but he said he works with people like that. I was forthcoming. I was honest I told him what I was doing and like I said they try to give me a little hope and then stop communicating with me after me calling and emailing for a week. I don't understand what happened they even pulled my credit report maybe they realized I was hopeless case and decided just to not return my calls anymore. Either way a phone call would've been nice not with me chasing them so disappointed with the expectation of them trying to work with me and then all of a sudden not. Put a deposit on a car 4/4/26. Dealer said they would address the 4 issues the car had and call me back to re-test drive and sign the paperwork. Today is 4/21/26, 17 days later and no car. Communications are essentially non-existent. Car in queue to get fixed after a week, computer down can't get Purchase Agreement filled out. After 3 weeks you can't get 2 tires on the car and fill out a Purchase and Sale Agreement? Imagine if the car needs service after a sale. Hopefully I don't have to report this to my credit card to get my deposit back. Zero confidence in this dealer. read more

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Period. Here's exactly what happened: I spoke to a salesperson two Sundays ago. He got overwhelmed with customers and basically left me hanging -- I ended up spending 4 hours just trying to test drive a car. The vehicle had been sitting on the lot for months, and all they could say was, "Oh, the best I can do is $200 off." Then, without even informing me (even though I specifically asked to be updated), they later dropped the price by another $500. No communication. Just shady. That's not even the worst part. Every single vehicle they showed me was low on gas, and one was literally out of fuel. I helped another customer push a car to get gas and then helped drive it back to the dealership -- something their own staff should've done. You'd think they'd show some appreciation, right? Nope. The salesperson was rude, read my messages without replying, and flat-out told me they only fix issues after the car is purchased. Seriously? You expect me to buy a car where the convertible top doesn't even work, and call it "an easy fix"? If it's so easy, then fix it -- don't try to push the problem onto your customer. These people are greedy, unprofessional, and completely unreasonable. The entire experience screamed of desperation and zero integrity. They'll do whatever they can to get money out of you while pretending it's all part of the deal. Good luck selling a car that's been rotting on your lot for 170 days. read more

What to expect: 1. Little or no services performed on used vehicles. 2. No multi point inspection. 3. The oil was not changed (see pics and confirmed by MB of Hanover) 4. No documentation of work performed unless it's done by another vendor, in my case they sold me a convertible with a top that did not go down so Mercedes had to fix it.( i got that invoice) 5. I took owner ship Feb 17, and have had issues with the car which is currently at Mercedes of Hanover being fixed as it does not start. I've reached out to both Alex (Sales) who has ghosted my and does not return calls or emails and Spoke with Chris in service a week ago about the vehicle not starting and he never followed up so I was able to get it to MB of Hanover the Closest dealer with the STAR system needed for the diagnosis. Just to recap, No services were performed on this vehicle prior to me taking ownership other than a coat of cheap wax. Alex confirmed with me on several occasions the "my guy is taking care of it we go thru everything" Alex is obviously full of it. The brakes need attention, the air filter is full of sand from Florida, The power steering does not even register on the cold mark and the ignition is shot. To top it off they car has several dents (door dings) (see pics) incurred after purchase but prior to me picking up the vehicle but there were not their during my initial inspection. My car is still in the shop, I will forward you that invoice and expect compensation or you can have the car back per the 60 day warranty with compensation for my money invested. **** To really round out my experience someone stole the Mercedes original floormats from the vehicle $180 after we closed on the vehicle to the time I picked it up. I did not notice at the time as the white plastic mats/ dirt protectors were covering the floor. Please see attached pics of the missing floor mats and services not performed, dents and cost of repairs. So far I have almost 4K invested in this vehicle in the first month after the sale. Very great service I worked with Alex over the phone, told him I needed financing and didn't have a down payment he found a great car that worked for me! And was very quick about getting everything in place, will be picking up the car when it's done being serviced and signing all the paperwork same day so I don't have to go there multiple times for my convenience. I had a great experience here. Aside from having to go between 2 locations (Belmont street & the other one). The guy I was originally supposed to meet who I had been texting wasn't in- which was fine so I did end up working with another individual and let me tell you - they made this as easy as possible. My boyfriend and I were trying to decide between a White 2012 Mercedes Benz GLK 350 w/ 40,000 miles and a White 2014 Mercedes Benz GLK 350 with 71,000. They were both absolutely gorgeous so all they needed was a copy of our drivers licenses and we went for a test drive alone- which was pretty cool. We ended up deciding on the 2012 because of the mileage. We ended up getting approved without a co-signer (this was probably- the longest and most annoying part) of the whole car buying thing but they made the experience palatable by allowing my 2 year old son to play in a "Slingshot" aka Bat Mobile. We go to pick up our new car on Friday, so excited and can't wait! read more

it seems like the head boss is running sometype of old car dealership finesse to make sure his guys are making a somewhat good commission I came out there hopping and willing to purchase a car that's been already sitting on there lot for over 100 days now more and still sitting. The first day I went out there everybody was all smiles and welcoming they said they would help me fill an app and didn't let me Finish until they seen the car so I came up the next day also letting them know I was pretty far out with my vehicle telling them to give me a price. The big guy who runs the place wanted to school me on why I would need more than 50 percent of the cars value for downpayment when the golden rule for used car varys between 15 To 20% and it was an 08 with close to 100000 miles on it. what blew me was the fact that They say they work with everybody and that their bank doesn't accept no to low credit ? if you worked with everybody you would be able to accommodate for their situation instead big boss completely shut me down and is still sitting with a car that woulda took off there hands regardless waste of time and money ! They would rather capitalize instead of making a genuine sale. Super disorganized which led to a really frustrating day. I scheduled an appointment to test drive a car. When I arrived at the time of my appointment, the office was empty. Eventually, someone came into the office and was trying to help 4 different people at once. When he got to me, I let him know the car I was supposed to be test driving and he told me it was sold. After some back and forth on the phone with other employees, he told me it was not sold so I could actually test drive it. Then, for about 30 minutes he intermittently looked for the keys (unsuccessfully) and helped other customers. At a certain point I realized this was a lost cause, and I let them know I was leaving. He offered to have the car driven to my home for me to take a look, which was a nice offer but as of today they still have not located the keys. Overall, seems to be pretty poor communication between people here which doesn't lead to a great car buying experience. read more

UPDATE: A week passed and Dana the owner called to amend their offer. We settled on a more reasonable amount for my trade-in and they gave me a 6 month maintenance plan. I purchased the car today 1/9/21. 12/22/20 Drove down to Brockton (an hour from my home) on a Saturday afternoon to test drive an Infiniti QX50. I met with Mike Green, he had the car all warmed up and ready to go. I gave him the registration on my current car as he asked for it so he could run the vin #. I also told him it had been in an accident. He thanked me for my honesty. Mike stated he would need to talk to the owner on Monday about a trade in value for my car. On Monday we struck a deal. On Tuesday I drove back to Brockton to get the car. After signing everything and passing over my title they decided that instead of giving me four thousand for my car they'd give me one thousand saying it was worth nothing since it is a reconstructed car. While I understand that it may affect the value, that really isn't the point...they claim they didn't run the vin #. Nope, I don't believe it. I truly think they thought they could get me to take 3k less for my car after signing all the paperwork. I wasted time and gas, took time off off work and got no car. Thanks for nothing, guys! Now I see that they raised the price of the car by $3,007....hmmmm. read more

I purchase my car three weeks ago with a trade-in and cash. The plan was to purchase it before my vacation so that while I was gone the car could be serviced, cleaned, registered, and inspected. I called once while on vacation to confirm things were being taken care of. I was told I'd have the car registered before I got back (in 1-2 days). When I returned home my registration wasn't ready and was told to wait a few days. Finally I went into the dealership to get my car so that I could at least pick it up and drive it using the bill of sale (with no registration or inspection sticker). I was told the car was serviced and cleaned. When leaving the lot I found the outside dirty and the inside filthy. Within the first 12 hours I had 3 warning lights come on that still haven't gone off. As my experience got worse I continued to take a closer look at the car. The transmission seems to struggle to shift at times. The transmission fluid was low and black. The tire pressures on all 4 tires seem to fluctuate terribly. The 2 tires on the left side of the vehicle slowly lose pressure (I mentioned during test drive, PSI was at 18). Today I received a parking ticket for not having a inspection sticker and my bill of sale ran out. So after roughly 3 weeks of purchase my "new car" is in terrible shape, I have no registration, no inspection sticker, and have spent a fair amount of extra money on a ticket and Ubers to get around while not having a working car. The saddest part is that they took my trade in, cleaned/fixed it up and had it for at double the price within days. If they took the same initiative with the car they sold me I would be in much better shape and happily driving. Hopefully this situation turns around and these issues get corrected sooner than later. read more

This was the 3rd time I bought a car and the best experience I had yet. The experience was very relaxed and there were no games/BS with the sales process. Here is a breakdown of my experience. The Search - I used their website to find the car I wanted. Their website is very user friendly and goes into a lot of detail about the car including a free car fax for each car. I saw 2 Saabs I liked, one that was within my price range and one that was not. I should note now that when I got to the dealership, one of the cars I wanted to purchase was already sold so if you see a car you really like, call the dealership as I think they need to do a better job keeping their website up to date (a week later, I still see the car that was sold still on their website). The Test Drive - Ron was my salesman. Very relaxed guy. He felt bad about the car I wanted already being sold but said he would show me the other car I liked (the one out of my price range of course). He gave me the keys to the car and let me take it out on my own. The fact that I got to take it out and was able to take my time inspecting the vehicle without the salesman with me and distracting me was a major plus. Before I took the car out, I did tell Ron that the car was out of my price range and gave him the number I was willing to pay (thought to myself here we go again with the negotiation game...). The sale - When I got back from the test drive, Ron was already outside waiting for me. He said that he spoke with the owner and that he would lower the price to what I could afford. I was very happy as the part I was dreading the most was over in 10 minutes (where in past dealerships hours for this process to happen). Financing - Basically filled out the application and they called a good amount of banks to get me the best rate. The Delivery - I will say that the benefit of the previous dealers I went to were able to take care of the registration and plates for me where I had to do it on my own with Avon. Not a big deal but wanted to make sure anybody that reads this review knows this. Also, the car was not gassed up and there was a 2nd key missing. However, the owner Dana (who is an awesome guy ... again not your typical car salesman) gave me cash to compensate for the gas (as he told me they usually fill it up before the car is delivered but overlooked my car) and Dana was able to locate the 2nd key the next day. Overal, though there were some small complications, this car buying experience was above and beyond any experience I have faced in the past. read more

First half of the experience went well. Had a terrific salesman...very friendly, not pushy, had a good test drive. Second half of the experience was absolutely awful. The finance side was the worst and I will never ever ever return here again. The man helping us was extremely rude and rushed us thru everything. He filled out all of our forms wrong: the RMV registration/title request form had the wrong make/model of car, wrong address, wrong date of birth (month, day, and year), AND the purchase contract was incorrect. He didn't discuss or review any of the taxes or fees with us and he rushed us thru the signing, so we had no real opportunity to verify the information. When I tried to point out that the purchase contract was incorrect, he brushed us off and refused to correct it. The bank that approved our loan then didn't accept the purchase contract and we couldn't complete the sale. When I tried to call them and talk to a manager or supervisor, the person on the phone was ALSO extremely rude and short and said there was no one for me to talk to. I would never even consider buying a car from here and I would never recommend anyone to buy from here. read more

We bought a car from there Memorial Dr. location a year ago. It was a low mileage Mercedes, and as with any used car it had a few issues. We spoke with the owner Dana and he was very pleasant and extremely helpful in helping us. We even looked at trading our vehicle in and purchasing another one, their trade in prices are EXTREMELY good. When we are looking to do business and purchase another car my husband and I will be coming back. I really like Dave Goldberg, the internet sales Manager and the owner Dana is VERY easy going. This happened back in 2010 and was 20 at the time, but it doesn't appear that things have changed. I stopped in to look at a couple used cars, with very little requirements other than fun, low mileage, and good condition. Should have been an incredibly easy sale considering their typical inventory. Upon arrival I was told right away that I should go to their other location down the street because there was nothing I could afford at this location. Which is an amazing conclusion to come to when I hadn't been asked any questions or gone through financing in any way. I try to reason with them and let them know that I would be looking into financing and that I shouldn't have any issues with payments on the cars I was interested in. They shrugged me off. let me roam the lot but didn't offer any service, or to answer any questions. So I took my business elsewhere and purchased a car next day. Now that I am back in the market for another car I will be avoiding this line of business, despite the impressive selection they may have. read more

I purchased a car from them in April 2019. The buying, as in negotiating, was very easy and no hassle. Everything else was a pain. I basically agreed to buy the car on a Tuesday evening, Wednesday they were to start on getting financing information to me "first thing". I think I called around noon but my salesman was not available. I got a call back around 2:30 or 3pm with numbers that were not what I expected and he went back to the drawing board. He got back to me close to 5pm and I went up to sign the paperwork. I realize that I'm not the only customer but say you're going to work on stuff "first thing" when it the reality is more like by end of day. I sign everything Wed evening, get all my paperwork for my insurance company to stamp and get an email address to send a scan of the stamped form so that the dealer can register it and the car will be ready to pickup on Friday. I had my insurance stuff in line and emailed to the address supplied by the salesman by 10am. I called around 12n to ensure they had received everything and was told yes. Friday comes, I call in the morning to make sure we are on schedule for pickup. The salesman I was dealing with was not available, but he'd call me back. No call back. I call again around noon. Same, no call back. I call again in the afternoon and find out the car won't be ready, come get it Saturday. I call around 11am Sat and again, the salesman I was dealing with was not available, but he'd call me back. No call back. I call at noon, same thing. I call close to 1pm, finally somebody decides to get up and find my sales guy and get me an answer. Yes it will be ready. I get there around 2pm, he's gonna change the plates over and I'll be ready to go. I see him running all around the lot helping this customer and that customer, which is great, but what I don't see is a lot of my plates going from one car to the next car. Finally at 2:50pm he comes in and I grabbed him and ask if we are all set? He says yes, but then the finance manager comes out and is like, wait, wait, wait you don't have your title, you don't have this and that for the registry. What? I have the RMV1 form for you, I had it stamped and a copy sent to this email that you gave me. The salesman said you were going to take care of everything. I have never bought a car from a dealer that didn't do the RMV transaction for you after the sale. I was told that it was new system that was not fully integrated and they aren't going to do it so I had to sit there while they wrote me a check for the tax and fill out the title and all this stuff that they could have been doing while I was sitting there for 45min doing nothing. So on top of all the hours wasted and phone tag played I also got to sit at the registry for a few hours to go with it. Unless they have the perfect deal for you, I'd go somewhere else because while the buying part was easy, everything else was a big run around. read more

I bought a used European car from them , initially had a headlight problem. I was told it was fixed, nope on inspection it FAILED due the headlight... They are an hour away x3 different highways. I needed to return it to be fix, no cooperation with getting a curtesy car , finally had an employee drop off the car they were using a cigarette smelling Ford Focus. They sell high end cars, BMW's Mercedes etc not ford focus's..When I was dropping my car off my back to be fixed explaining my situation an salesman " this sucks for you guy" real professionalism, days later they still didn't fix it, wanted the Focus back its been sold LIE, I didn't bring the car back.. The car took 10 days to fix because they were waiting for a part from Germany.. BMW dealer 25 minutes away.. another LIE.. they offered me a 3 month warranty I wanted it writing NEVER got it.. (Not the finance guy) Its an unprofessional place that needs to study how the big dealers to do business. Please go somewhere else.. read more

Where do I start? Do not buy a vehicle from these sketchy characters. I found a particular BMW online that I really loved so I went to the dealership to check it out. The man there looked it up in his inventory and saw the one I was talking about. However, he was not able to locate it in the parking lot (even though it was supposedly listed at that location) so he told me to go check out the other location because it must be there. I went to the other location and they said to check with they other location (the one I had just come from!) because it wasn't it their lot. We were never able to locate the vehicle so I settled on a different and more expensive one that they had available. When I was going through the purchase of my vehicle I had to deal with a man named Jason I believe. I had been waiting for him to call me to let me know when I could go pick up the car but a few days went by and no call. I decided to call him, however, when I called no one had any idea who I was talking about. I was then put on hold for 20 min. So I hung up and called back. Again, I was put on hold but this time someone eventually picked up the phone and then asked "what do you want?" after I had already explained twice that I needed to speak with Jason about picking up my car. They couldn't give me any straight answers and told me that he would call me back. Of course, he never did. Another day or so, I decided to call again and was able to get through to him finally. But then he pretended not to know me or what I am talking about even though we met in person and I had been trying to reach him for days. He had made false promises that I would have had my car at least 3 days prior. Apparently, they don't actually own the cars that they sell and did not have the title on hand so it was taking a few days to get the title to them and then to me. They tried to convince me to go and have my insurance stamp the registration application but that is ILLEGAL for the insurance to do without the title in hand. I came back to them letting them know that I needed they title and they acted like that was news to them. It was my first car buying experience so obviously I didn't know the process but they have been selling cars for years and know exactly how it works. Moving forward, I finally drive off in my new car under a 2 month warranty. After a few days, I began getting a coolant low warning so I bought some coolant and filled up. About a day later, the warning comes back. I brought it to them and they claimed it was the thermostat so they replaced it. About a week later, the warning came back so I brought it back again and they "fixed it" by replacing the thermostat again and the water pump. That seemed to last me about another month until I started getting the coolant low warning again. However, by that time I was no longer under the 2 month warranty so I brought it to a bmw specialist (great guy who actually knows what he is talking about) and he was able to fix it for me and I have not had any issues with it since then (about 4 months now). Oh and by the way, the BMW specialist I saw later on, told me that Avon had actually broken the bolt on the wheel when they went to replace the thermostat and water pump because they did not have the wheel lock key for the vehicle so I had to get that replaced in addition to buying the key from a BMW dealership. So they caused further damage and didn't fix the issues while I was on warranty. If you are looking for a BMW or any sort of good customer service, stay away from Avon Auto Brokers. read more

I recently stumbled on to an AutoTrader advertisement for a BMW being marketed by Avon Auto Brokers. The price was extremely competitive, and after navigating to their website and reviewing their stock... I decided to take a drive down to the lot and check out their inventory. I had been searching for a mid-mileage BMW or Audii and had gotten a bit frustrated with my search. Most lots have maybe 1 or 2 BMW or Audi's, but not multiple. Not so at Avon AB. They had like 100 different luxury imports to choose from. Honestly, I have never been so impressed with the stock at a used car dealership. The other nice thing is that the cars are priced fairly, so there's not much price negotiation required (I didn't even bother). Further, the finance department got me a great rate (2.88% on a used car?!? That's almost like free money!). My one gripe about the place was that once I had decided to buy a particular vehicle, it took a while to get things moving due to staffing issues. They seem to attempt to schedule most client visits and can't handle a flood of 'walk-ins'. This is being a bit nit picky, but it does warrant mentioning. It also warrants mentioning that I did NOT have an appointment. My other complaint is that the dealer doesn't have a plate runner so I was forced to go to the RMV. I get that this isn't a Luxury high-line lot akin to buying a new Lexus from Herb Chambers, but still... If you spend upwards of 20k on a car, you should be able to get the lot to take care of the registration for you. Honestly, if I was buying another car I would make every attempt to buy at a lot that DID have a plate runner to avoid sitting in the RMV for 4 hours. I'd even pay a fee for it. The one other thing that is also kinda weird is the email advertisements that I continue to receive from the dealer where the manager talks about himself as Mr. so and so in the third person. It's ridiculous, off-putting, and makes the guy sound like an jerk. I mean, I laugh out loud when I get the emails, the guy sounds like he's the CEO of a mega corporation. Reality check: You are a GM of a Used Car Lot in BROCKTON! All in all, I didn't feel like the sales people were sleazy (which is saying something for a used car lot), and the location is pretty convenient off of rt. 24. That paired with teh fact that the inventory and prices simply can't be beat make this a very good option. read more

I made a serious mistake that I didn't do a full inspection of my car immediately after the purchase, which will cost over $7000 to fix. And they refused to fix it. 3. I am not one to complain but this place is such a sham that people need to know. And after reading these other yelp reviews thank god i trusted my instinct. First they lost the keys. Then Salesmen completely lied to me on a couple occasions. First he told me that if I bought a car in Rhode Island from a dealer it's "as is" with no warranty at all even though that is obviously not true. When i called him out on his blatant lie he basically said "good luck ". Then he told me the car only had two owners but I found out that it has three. Then they kept changing the pricing (blaming the owner). Initially i inquired when Truck was 14. Then it went up to 16888. When i said i saw it at 14 he said they had no record of that and they needed to see a pic of the price ?! They lowered it then raised it then when i agreed to price he said the price went back up! But then i saw it online 3 days later lowered again to the original price ?!?! It's so crazy it's hard to explain. And when I finally asked for a different associate he would just ignore me and his emails back were short and rude and totally unprofessional. I almost want to post the email chain. It was comical. Even though the car was a decent deal and it's exactly what i wanted, I am not buying it because of his extremely poor, unprofessional, seriously dishonest customer service and ethics and now the other reviews I've read online confirm my concerns.
