Great Service! Excellent Work!…read more I had a VCT floor that was not buffed or waxed in roughly 20 years. The old coat of wax, originally applied, was worn off and nonexistent. This VCT floor, in a maintenance office, was faded, stained and looked beat up and worn. I contacted Sam, the owner of Rhone Floor Maintenance, for stripping and waxing services on this floor. I was very pleased with previous work that Rhone had done on other floors in the Building. Sam was very patient and knowledgeable in explaining the process, of what needed to be done to revive this floor. He stripped, scrubbed and applied multiply layers of wax on this floor making it look almost new. The best part about Rhone's work was his attention to detail. Sam was very meticulous, thoroughly cleaning all corners, wiping off the cove base and covering all to make sure there was no wax splashing on edge strips, cove base and built-in furniture. Sam Rhone Flooring did a great job for a great price!!! I will definitely call him back for future work or refer him to anyone needing floor work done. We started the relationship with our plumber who provided Family Floors as a recommendation when I mentioned that we needed to do a bathroom remodel. I called Family Floors and Chuck came out and talked to me and took a lot of measurements saying he would provide an estimate the next day. The work was for removal of the current tub and tub wall, installation of ceramic tile, new tub, and vinyl flooring. I didn't receive Chuck's estimate the next day, I got it via email that night! Wow! I got a follow-up copy of the estimate in the mail a couple days later. We hired Chuck and I went to their store to pick out the tile and flooring. I worked with Kelly and we managed to pick out a lot. I came back to the store after doing some thinking and to view some additional samples after trying out the ones Kelly and I picked in my bathroom. This time I met with Chuck and he was terrific too. He listened carefully to what I explained, the kind of look I was after, and he made some suggestions himself. We honestly had fun with it all. He and Kelly are both very personable, and you can tell they have years of experience doing this because they stay very professional as well. The job is complete now. And it is absolutely beautiful. To attempt to do a quick summary: Chuck was ALWAYS on time, did the job in the amount of time he told me he had scheduled, he worked steadily from the time he arrived at our house until he was done for the day, he was very, very neat and cleaned up very well at the end of each day. I don't think he realized I saw him, but on the first day, I was planting flowers next to our sidewalk and hadn't swept up all the dirt. The next day, he pulled out his brush and swept off that little corner so that he wouldn't track the dirt into the house during his trips in from his van. His prices are very good and there's no having to wheel and deal. He gives you a good price, the right price, from the get go, no games. I loved that too. Thank you Chuck and Kelly!!

I wish I could give them negative stars, they earned it…read more ProSource KNOWINGLY sold me a stone tile/backsplash product that MUST be cut wet. However, it contains a water soluble glue which makes this impossible as the stone falls off the mesh backing when it gets wet. I was NOT made aware of this when I purchased it and Prosource denied knowing the issue even existed until 2 months in on a phone call with Ed the showroom manager, who was dumb enough to admit they knew it was an issue. I spent countless hours calling and emailing both the manufacturer, Topcu, and ProSource attempting to learn a way to be able to install the product as my wife and I both really like it. I even purchased 3 additional new diamond blades in a vain attempt to cut it, because "this has never happened before". Then what I was told, and I still cannot believe they were stupid enough to suggest this, was to remove each individual stone from the backing, cut it wet, then glue it back on. After a ridiculous amount of back and forth the final answer the manufacturer said to do would cost more than the product itself did, take countless hours of work, be nearly impossible to do correctly and completely make the product un returnable. For an alleged high end product that cost over $300 per box. ProSource refused to take back the product except under unreasonable circumstances, only taking back non cut and non broken sheets, a 25% restocking fee AND my paying the freight back to the manufacturer in Georgia. The manufacturers rep admitted to me on multiple occasions that the situation was ridiculous but still I could not get an acceptable resolution from them either. I guess they expected me to lay down and take the abuse. Not this guy. I fought and I won...just like I told them I would. Now I get to warn you. Who is dumb enough to use a water soluble glue on a product that must be cut wet? Topcu. Who is both dumb enough to sell that product to consumers without telling them? Dave at ProSource Monroeville. Who is dumb enough to insist this has never happened before? Todd at ProSource Monroeville and Brian at Topcu. Who is dumb enough to admit this does happen and I was lied to repeatedly for over 2 months? Ed at Prosource Monroeville. Who was smart enough to give me my money back? PNC. You would be better off buying your supplies at a flea market. But if you want to buy this crap they sold me check the usual spots where people sell stuff, I will be listing it for sale there until someone buys it, which I expect will be a very long time.

I am a researcher by nature and decided my best option would be LVP. I searched online and went to one other showroom and just didn't care for anything I saw. I went to Home Depot and Lowe's and nothing. I already have oak in the rest of my house and didn't want a wood look so that eliminated probably half the tile designs I looked at. I was becoming discouraged. At Virgin, the woman I worked with first brought out a brand new design they had just gotten in and it was love at first sight. my the color(s) was a pinkish, tannish color that looked like windblown sand. I think the name was Pink Onyx or something like that. All of people I worked with from the women in the showroom to through the installers could not have been nicer ... over the coming months! I fooled around with getting this floor for several months because I had two other projects that it only made sense to do first. Each time I went to Virgin, they never pressured me or had an attitude because I took so long before I made a commitment. I would like to call out all the various people and the parts they played but, honestly, each and everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was completely happy with the end result. This included having a new subfloor and leveling agent all the way to quarter round and even a little inventiveness where the quarter round couldn't be used but something was still needed to make the job look totally "finished". Thank you to all the special people I had the pleasure of working with.
