I posted Kabob House to the Yelp Elite Lunch Break Lobby Page, only to realize that I never wrote a review. So, here it is! There are several fast food Mediterranean food restaurants in Temecula, but this one is a really good choice for a few reasons. First and foremost, their gyro meat of lamb and beef is the most tender and juicy of any that I have ever had! Kabob House roasts the blend of the two meats on an upright spit, just like it should be done. The thin slices of meat served in a pita with vegies and tzatziki on the side (so you can slather as much or as little as you like with each delicious bite) is messy, but worth it! I have also had the chicken kabob plate, which was perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy. The prices are very reasonable: the gyro sandwich is $6.99. You can add a drink and a side for $2. The chicken kabob plate, which comes with two sides, is $11.99. Their side salad is ice berg lettuce, onions, tomatoes, feta cheese, which is okay with me. Kabob House is a family owned business (not a large chain). You will most likely see the business owner hanging out and working. It is also very close to where we live, at the very south end of Temecula. So, when you get that craving for a good gyro or a nicely grilled kabob plate, give Kabob House a try. read more

Placed an order online thru Door Dash. Dasher waited 45 min for my order. I called the restaurant they said they "never received". They placed me on hold setting phone down which allowed me to hear their conversation. They actually gave my order to someone else which can happen, however they didn't apologize nor agree to remake my food. They just said they never received. but to dasher (while i'm listening) it was given to someone else. Clearly they don't value that I waited over an hour for an order I never received. The dasher told me they were short staffed and he tried waiting until finally after an hour i canceled. read more

It's nice to have alternatives for Mediterranean food. Kabob Shop, not to be confused with The Kabob Shop the chain of 13 restaurants, is good place to have a gyro or shawarma. They've been open now for three months and have been doing well. We came in for dinner and I had the beef gyro cut from the spit and very tasty. My wife had the chicken kabob dinner and she said the meat was juicy and cooked just right. Very good service here and they are very helpful explaining their menu. We had the barbusa for dessert. It's like a cake with coconut on top with a sweet syrup poured over it. It was dry and we didn't eat it all. They also have baklava and rice pudding. Big parking lot shared by other businesses but it shouldn't be a problem finding a spot. We'll definitely be back! read more

The serving sizes here are huge. If you look at my pictures below, the chicken shawarma wrap is only one order. One order comes with 2 wraps packed with meat. I had to ask if they accidentally gave us two wraps. But she confirmed that was one order. The gyro meat here is flavorful. I ordered the combo plate with rice & hummus and they really packed my plate with tons of gyro meat. I couldn't even finish it. Definitely worth the money here. I have to say it was my first time here and the quality is amazing the food is so fresh and tastes so good!

The food was mediocre at best, I'm convinced not a single grain of salt was used inside that kitchen. The Greek salad doesn't represent anything Greek, the lentil soup doesn't actually have lentils in it and the taziki is way watered down. Food seemed rushed and not very good, cutting corners to make profit. Service was good, inside was nice, but overall I paid way too much for a sub par experience.
