We felt like having kabob for dinner and we're glad to have found this place located on Temecula Parkway. We ordered the beef and chicken kabob plates. Side choices can be Greek or Caesar salad, rice, hummus, fries, vegetables, baba ganoush, or tabouleh. The plate came with pita bread, roasted green and red peppers and yogurt sauce. The meats were marinated well and they were tender and flavorful. There's an option to have the beef prepared either rare, medium, or well-done. Everything was tasty and the portions were plentiful. The place was freezing it made all of the food cold. We got a family meal and asked for serving spoons multiple times and never got them. They even over charged us for the family meal. We ordered the 12 Kabob meal and were charged for the 18. Even when I sent a picture the manager Christina said that we were charged correctly, when clearly that wasn't the case. She made no effort to try and resolve the issue. read more

Half way through my order I get a frustrated "hold on let me put you on hold" ( not ordering anything difficult) then a minute later I get hung up on. I call back and re start my order with the girl on the other end being so rude I cancel my order. On two other occasions every time I get home with the food something is missing . If you like spending a lot of money for food and getting talked to like crap and not getting what you ordered this is the place for you . Everything very fresh and perfectly prepared, friendly courteous service, clean place. If I lived in Temecula I'd dine here at least once a week! We were a little worried when we got there and only one other table was filled. Hummm.... As we sat at our lamp lit table, the place had a good number of to-go orders and it filled up with 4 other parties. Relief!!! As it turned out, the food was wonderful. I posted Kabob House to the Yelp Elite Lunch Break Lobby Page, only to realize that I never wrote a review. So, here it is! There are several fast food Mediterranean food restaurants in Temecula, but this one is a really good choice for a few reasons. First and foremost, their gyro meat of lamb and beef is the most tender and juicy of any that I have ever had! Kabob House roasts the blend of the two meats on an upright spit, just like it should be done. The thin slices of meat served in a pita with vegies and tzatziki on the side (so you can slather as much or as little as you like with each delicious bite) is messy, but worth it! I have also had the chicken kabob plate, which was perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy. The prices are very reasonable: the gyro sandwich is $6.99. You can add a drink and a side for $2. The chicken kabob plate, which comes with two sides, is $11.99. Their side salad is ice berg lettuce, onions, tomatoes, feta cheese, which is okay with me. Kabob House is a family owned business (not a large chain). You will most likely see the business owner hanging out and working. It is also very close to where we live, at the very south end of Temecula. So, when you get that craving for a good gyro or a nicely grilled kabob plate, give Kabob House a try. read more

It's nice to have alternatives for Mediterranean food. Kabob Shop, not to be confused with The Kabob Shop the chain of 13 restaurants, is good place to have a gyro or shawarma. They've been open now for three months and have been doing well. We came in for dinner and I had the beef gyro cut from the spit and very tasty. My wife had the chicken kabob dinner and she said the meat was juicy and cooked just right. Very good service here and they are very helpful explaining their menu. We had the barbusa for dessert. It's like a cake with coconut on top with a sweet syrup poured over it. It was dry and we didn't eat it all. They also have baklava and rice pudding. Big parking lot shared by other businesses but it shouldn't be a problem finding a spot. We'll definitely be back! read more
