We came out to Temecula for a soccer tournament & randomly stopped by this gem! We had an amazing server named Lili who guided us thru the menu. I ordered the chicken Shawarma wrap, which is quite frankly, the best wrap I've ever had in my life! And I have had quite a few. My daughter tends to be a picky eater but absolutely loved the rice as well as the falafel. I didn't order it, but apparently the Turkish coffee is very popular here as well. The food was okay if they had served what was ordered. The service was terrible!!! It was not busy and waited over 5 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes to have our order taken, 10 minutes for water to be brought to us and an hour for our food. The appetizer arrived long after the meal and only after asking for it 2x's. When the entrees finally came, the order was not accurate. Then, they still charged us for the wrong order (which was more than the correct order). The waitress made excuses and blamed the cooks for the mistake, but never apologized and did not correct the mistake. Never did she check on us during the long wait or during dining. We had to call her over. She said that the normal waitress was out and that's the reason for the problems. Again, no apology and not taking responsibility for the terrible service and wrong order. While there, I observed 2 ladies arrive to pick up a phone order. Their order was to be ready by 6:15pm. It was 6:35 and told to come back in 30 min. They politely left and returned at 7:05. At which time, their order was still not ready and had to wait. I would not advise this place and will not be returning. read more

I have ordered from this place multiple times, maybe over 6x? It is one of my man's favorites. Per Yelp, I last ordered on 1/5/2020 and 9/23/19 (estimated). We usually get the Gyro Combo where you can order 2 sides. My man likes the Greek Salad and rice; I usually get the Greek Salad with either fries or hummus. If super hungry, we add in an extra order of kabobs. Today, however, I am super disappointed. The sides for the salad used to be generous- they were boxed in half rectangle containers. They have now not only down-sized their side for the salad, it came in a small container where 75% of the salad was brown. It was like the bottom of the barrel. I felt so disrespected as a customer that a place I have ordered from would try to serve me brown lettuce. I took a photo so you can see that I didn't even eat my salad because by the time I picked out all the brown lettuce, all I could eat was two halves of a tomato. We still like the gyro plate, but today the person who boxed it was careless and left one open. As we opened one of them, it broke and some of the meat and other contents fell into the plastic bag. I don't like to write negative reviews. But I want to support local businesses and encourage improvement. But based on this last order, I am uncomfortable contributing money to an establishment that thinks it is okay to serve brown lettuce to customers and to serve food in containers where the clasp is not sealed. I hope the owners will read this review and take it seriously. I didn't give it two stars because I had to write the review based on all other deliveries & prior quality of food. read more

When I got in the car and opened the box, a waft of fish smell hit me. We all know that when you smell fish, the fish is usually not fresh. The fish looked like one of those fish fillets that you can buy in the bag at Costco, you know the ones that are freeze dried and sold in a bag of 5? I took a bite and the fish was dry, and tasted just like it smelled. Fishy. Yuck. So basically I was starving and just ate the rice. I paid $15 to eat some yellow sticky rice that had no semblance to authentic Mediterranean long grain rice...I literally put the fish in my zip up grocery bag (because it was smelling up my whole car) and threw it in the desert on my way back to Palm Desert for animals to eat (#repurpose). I live in walking distance from this restaurant, so it is a common place for me to go get a somewhat clean eating meal. When I first moved in this area a year ago the food was so good and clean tasting, meaning no oils and fresh vegetables. Today I called in my order and because I'm on a special diet due to health issues, not just being picky, I asked for no carrots. the young lady on the phone said she would let the cook know . When I picked my food up she told me "sorry there's some carrots in there" and I replied, ok thanks . , but I'm thinking there would be more broccoli thank carrots, no problem! NOT !!! There is nothing but carrots with 1 piece of broccoli. REALLY !! Plus my salmon is dry and the rice taste like it was mixed with yesterday rice and today's rice . It has hard pieces in it . This is ridiculous,!! I understand we all are trying to survive this pandemic but if you can't serve good quality food you should close the doors . I would not recommend this place to anyone. The service is horrible and the staff is incompetent. I attempted to try this place out for the first time in Feb of 2024 but was not able to get any food. I called to place a to go order and the girl put me on hold for 30 minutes. No exaggeration, I was put on hold for 30 minutes. The girl came back to the phone after having me on hold for 30 minutes and she was surprised that I was still on the phone and she apologized. She actually forgot that she had put me on hold. Then I spoke to the manager and he offered to give me one Free dinner plate within the next few days. So I called back a few days later and ordered the plate for a pick up. The girl that I spoke to this time said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 30 minutes later but they had not started the order yet. I stood at the counter and waited for another 15 minutes and my order was still not done. After 45 minutes, still no food. I told the server that I needed to leave because I had an Uber outside and she said it would be another 5 minutes. I could not wait any longer risking my ride home and told her I would come back another time. Then the server said to me, it's not her responsibility that I was on a time crunch and then she walked away. Because of that rude comment, I will never go back to this place again. In my mind, I thought it was not my responsibility that I was told the order would be 15 minutes, but ended up being almost an hour and still no food. Then to add insult to injury, the server throws in my face that it's not her responsibility she's on a time crunch. I thought in response to that rude comment, how about having the food ready when you say it will be ready instead of blaming the customers. These people give you one time frame and then make you wait and wait. Well I never did get to taste the food and I never will since trying to get food was very challenging with this place. read more

Really good option for Mediterranean food on the south side of Temecula. We got the chicken and gyro pita wraps and both were good. The rice was also great (which came on the side), a bit buttery, so not exactly light but tasted great. The place itself has an odd feel to it, nothing really decorative that would indicate it being a kabob house, seems like it could serve any type of food, but it's not really aimed at ambience I guess. Staff was friendly, place was pretty slow when we went (Friday afternoon), but it is in a n odd plaza right next to Toast, Francesca's and Golden Bowl (places in this plaza don't seem to stay open very long). I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since they've opened and most recently I've had really bad experiences with staff that answers calls and takes my order. This was the third time in a row where my food was wrong and I've called and a very young girl answers the phone and is unwilling to help. She has told me three times in a row to call back in two or three days to talk to a manager. Very unfortunate the food is good however the portions are very very small and basically I got two chicken kebabs for $20. I've ordered from this place 3 times in the past week, because I had a craving for this type of cuisine. I was hooked after the first time. The flavor runs rampant throughout the tender meat (which tastes like it was marinated for hours), as well as the sauces that are added. I got the same thing each time because it's that delicious (the chicken kabob sandwich). I've ordered sides, those were great. My boyfriend had the gyros sandwich tonight and he was completely satisfied. We shared some falafel, and it was the best I've ever had...nothing else I've had compares. I should actually say this is the best of this cuisine I've had in my life. Make sure you order extra sauces. They definitely don't skimp out on that, but the flavor is insane. Yum.
